I ate a 2 pound in weight special burger in New York. Took almost half an hour to munch my way through it.

A friend took us to Denny's Beer Barrel Pub quite some years back, and I attempted to finish the 6lb burger. Not my picture, but it's the same burger.
Notice how I said attempted. The bloody thing beat me. Good job I didn't go for the 54lber then.

Whale meat !
The biggest thing I have eaten is clearly killer whale meat when visiting Iceland last summer. I have heard blue whale and humpback whale meat is good - but I still prefer to just do whale watching tours

I've eaten a 16oz steak along with chips and salad.
I could probably eat a 25oz steak, maybe even 30oz. |

The most i've ever eaten in a sitting is probably when at a Chinese buffet. I think a full English would come close.

Probably at an all you can eat buffet in Portugal, it was Brekkie. Must have had about 8 eggs, bacon, sausages etc and about 6 pints of orange juice

1/2 dozen wings for starters, 32oz steak (post cooking) with mash, veggis, dozen shrimp and lemon cheesecake for desert, but it probably had 4 or 5oz of bone in the steak
I did have 3 x 1/2lb burgers and a 12" hotdog at company BBQ last week. |
