I really enjoyed this season- both the candidates and the format. This year along with season 4 are my favorites, although I liked last year as well, season 6. I was never able to get into Season 5. Same sentiments about seasons 1-3, granted I didn't watch the first 3 live (in the same year) so to speak.
I guess casting the right mix of candidates is essential. On that note I thought Apprentice Au did a great job regarding casting last year (season 1) & enjoyed that season as well. But from what I can tell it doesn't seem to have been renewed for a 2nd Season.
I thought Apprentice You're fired was great this year. The contestants seem to all have pretty good personalities "in real life." Many were different than they came across on the show. Also I really like several of their guest panelist.
Apprentice UK has become to be my favorite tv show. Lord Sugar, Karen and Nick make a good balance. I live in the US so maybe its partly because the slight cultural difference gives the contestants even more of a character role? On top of enjoying the show in general- Every episode I have a few lol moments, which I consider to be fairly rare for me regarding tv.
Suprisingly I do not like the US apprentice. I did at first, but the show has gone down hill fast for me. I do not like the celebrity apprentice focus (which I don't even watch anymore) and Trump has become more of a joke than a solid bussiness icon. Apprentice US should have Trump sole do the Celebrity version, & find a new Business mogul to do the more traditional style Apprentice. I think there is room for both- and likely even attract different viewers.
