Don't get me wrong I love WMC, I just think that MS has dropped the ball on this and in the new world of connected TV's they could have even developed WMC futher (more web browsers options, social media plugins) and even produced a low cost set top box (like Apple TV, Boxee, etc) enabling any TV to become a 'connected' TV experience. BTW, that keyboard looks interesting. I was looking in PC world last weekend to see if they had that type of keyboard and couldn't see anything.”

The point of having a API is for 3rd party development. Aside from iPlayer which I have not tried the remainder of the plugins work great for me. My Movies I would consider essential, got MKV playback and I have a freesat HD and freeview SD tuner both working great.

As for the keyboard, I ordered mine off Amazon. Its pretty small though Logitech do a bigger version. Its also backlit, so ideal for dark rooms.

If you are talking about this

You haven't seen the picture quality of iPlayer on a Samsung TV, have you?

You certainly can't see it on a 480p YouTube clip filmed with someone's toy camcorder.

Cheers,
David.

justjax, a word of warning about Richer Sound. The salesman in Liverpool told me I couldn't use the 3D unless I had a v1.4 HDMI cable and tried to sell me one for £50! If they try it on with you, just ignore them. Strictly speaking there's no such thing as 1.4 now, they're supposed to be designated 'high speed'. You can buy a high speed 1M cable for about £4. I've seen high speed cables with Ethernet included and it may be possible to use this to connect the Blu-ray player to the net via the wi-fi connection on the TV (to get firmware updates online). Beware if you use the net browser because if you read all the small print, Samsung give themselves the right to take and use your personal data to sell on and keep for themselves; to send you marketing info. Although they said you could opt out, I couldn't find the opt out screen. I think I'll just stick to my laptop to browse the net.

Oh, and the 5year g'tee for 10% of the TV price seems like a good deal. I didn't bother with the 5year g'tee for the 3D Blu-ray player, even though it was only £10 and if you don't use it you get your money back after 5 years.
Another thing, if you have a big viewing room, HD & Blu-ray contain a wealth of detail and the screen seems smaller as a result. Consider getting the 46" instead.
