Did anybody see the True Hollywood Story (THS) on E! this morning? It's likely to be repeated at some point.

I watched it a few days ago and they hadn't updated it at all. It was a rushed job really. Not really a in depth story of her career.

She was very funny.”

Here is that interview.

Yeah it was clearly thrown together as soon as they found out about her death.

Everyone makes documentaries when a celebrity dies, don't they?

Having said that, I'll probably watch it

Yeah. But in my opinion, what is there untold. The girl had huge success, unfortunatley found her way into drugs and sadly died young.

But yeah i will likely watch it.

BTB #1, Frank #3 in the midweek charts. So happy Frank is probably going to get a top three position.

Ok I am a fan, but I have been amazed at the amount of hate shown on some of the other threads. A young woman has died. Can't people see the tragedy in that?

Once Amy was a party girl with a dream. I like to see pictures of her in 2003, just as she was signing up to Island records. See how glowing she looks, and hopeful too.

RIP Amy.

best voice of the past god knows how many years, talented, amazing voice, amazing song writer, just an old round amazing girl, 'singers' these days should learn a few thing's from her, Adele already admitted that if it wasn't for Amy she wouldn't be where she is now, even Rihanna said Amy inspired her, she was a global success, shame she had to die for people to realise how superb she was.

Retrospective

I watched. It was a good programme and there were photos of when she was little and footage when she was at stage school. I think she was about ten. There was a great bit of footage from The Sun of Amy in the back of a taxi when she firat started off in the music business and when her album frank came out. She looked so lovely and healthy back then. But then she met Blake in a pub then she went downhill. He introduced her to drugs. Mitch said Amy had always disapproved of drugs before. I didn't think much of Blake. he was a real waste of space. I don't know what she saw in him in the first place.

Amy made her own decisions but don't you just wish she'd never ever set eyes on Blake Fielder-Civil? It's possible that if she had met Reg earlier .. she'd still be here.

Good article in the Times magazine today by Caitlin Moran. It speculates that the eating disorders may have contributed more to the death than has been focused on.

I feel just like Caitlin, strangely unsettled by this death even though I saw it coming a mile off.

I found several audio bootleg live concerts of Amy she had done
They really could release a live album of her. Amazing.
