Can I eat it in the current state or does it need to be put in the oven so the inside goes a little cruchy. I know it sounds like a ridiculous question but I don't really buy it

I have done this in the past, but have heated the sandwich in the oven, before adding the rocket. The cheese melts and goes all gooey, have used sundried tomatoes as well instead of fresh ones.

You can do either but I totally advocate putting in a warm oven for a bit, makes it crunchy and doughy at the same time and helps make the fillings all melt and mingle. Mmm sounds so good, I could really go for a panini now.

Buy Aldi part baked and put in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Good value at 69p and a great standby if you run out of fresh bread. Use it as you would any other loaf. I like it straight from the oven with a bit of unsalted butter but I'm a simple soul!
