Do Ice lolly sticks still have jokes written on them?

Jokes are too country specific. The whole ice lolly industry has got so internationalised that they have dropped the jokes because they want to sell identical products throughout Europe.
Anyone remember when you could actually read the ingredients list on a product because it was only in English and didn't have to be microscopic to fit 15 language variants on the pack?

Wasn't that why some choccie bars changed their names and jif cleaning stuff went to cif (or something like that my bottle is so old it is still Jif) and Oil of Ulay changed?

Yeah, Snickers used to be Marathon when I was very young and changed to Snickers to match the international name probably around the late 80's at a guess.

I'm sure there was a cat food that changed names too.

Brekkies cat biscuits used to be called Munchies, same as the sweets. And Cesar dog food was called Mr Dog
