Corndogs for Fast Food Idea?
koantemplation

I'm just watching Unwrapped on the Food Network and they are showing corndogs.

I reckon this would have been a good idea for a fast food place in the UK as they don't seem to be sold in many places.

You can also have mini corn dogs that you can add things like chilli to.

Anyone else think it would have been a winning idea?

They always struck me as something you'd get off a van rather than in the sort of fast outlet LordSirAlan had provided.
What are they like? I can't be doing with the traditional 'Frankies' style hotdog, but if they're more like a bratworst I could be tempted...

Well they sell hotdogs in fastfood places, so why not corndogs?

I've never tried one but I suspect they are like battered sausages only the batter is more like savory sponge.

You can probably use any type of sausage that can be fried.
