I love it. It sounds so cool and fresh. And he looks damn fine in the video. As does Gigi. The only thing I would say is his diction on this is like Sia is on her records. It's hard to understand what he's saying in parts. Maybe that's on purpose because the lyrics are a bit naughty.

I'm far from his target market, but I'm embarrassed for him.
A) It's boring, B) It's cliched 'ex-boy-band-member-uses-swear-words' drivel and C) It's irresponsible because whether he wants it or not he has a 'little girls' following. |

In fact, I agree with almost all of the comments here:

I like it but am confused from what he said thought it would be very different from 1D music and don't think is that far away , I can understand where he at with the video and that's fine by me but also agree about the diction . It must be intentional surely? Looking good on I Tunes , blown up all over the place

Zayn is #1 midweek. It will most likely fall to #2 next week, and rise again once he does his live performances.
I would say tho that Zayn's team need to get their shit together. His vocals need to be on point. I know he is not the most extrovert or confident individual but they need to fake it a bit. When I read what Piers said this morning, it irritated me to be honest. He doesn't know the situation behind the cancelled or postponed appearances but yet he is quick to open his mouth. What was the point in bringing up an irrelevant interview? Piers points out that Zayn has a gun tattoo on his hip and he "asked" him questions about it and Zayn had a surly disposition. I reckon Piers interrogated Zayn rather than conduct a proper interview - he is a staunch anti-gun activist (I don't fault him for this tho). |

Because he is a journalist and not a nicey nice one but one that asks the hard hitting questions. I blame management ( I think) ! What are they thinking letting zany cop out of a tv and radio interview . Not good at this stage of his solo career

Twingle, I doubt that Zayn has that much influence on his management. He may have a past as an ex-member of the world' biggest boyband, but thats just it, a past. It holds little relevance.
The GN show will be rebooked as will the radio show interview. It's not great from a PR perspective, but it's not a writeoff. His team just need to remember not to neglect the UK. I was just annoyed that Piers decided to stick the boot in without gaining all of the facts. Foolish old man indulging in idol gossip. lol |

He'll probably fall to #4 this week.
He's doing worse with the radio deal than without |

the iHeart radio deal - he was selected as an "on the verge" artist. This took a drop from the #1 spot to 7. The biggest drop for a single debuting at #1 in history. However, he continues to maintain steady sales on iTunes and streaming, and is growing on radio.
