Is there a simplistic page that lists the difference in the various models

My daughter as asked for one for her Birthday, but looking around its getting confusing as to the actual spec difference between models

She is on VF (PAYG) but its not a problem moving to another carrier if there is a good price available

Anyone help this old fogey ?

Cheers

GSM arena seem to have mobile phone specs laid out nicely - used them a bit over the past few months, just search google for the make of the phone and they are usually near the top of the list

eg http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_c..._9300-3422.php

Also, blackberry's own comparison page is quite good, just click to add additional phones and scroll down for a comparison:

They are the models Vodafone offer on PAYG.
They are the same phone except the Curve 9300 has 3G.
The Curve 8520 is very good value for money. I had it for a while and was impressed with how good it was for the price.

Cheapest deal I could find on the 8520 was the Virgin £10.50 per month - cheaper if you are on Virgin TV or phone service.

May be worth hanging on as there are new BB Curve devices coming in the next few weeks - she might like the look of those or you might be able to pick up an 8520 cheaply when phone shops are offloading their stock.

FWIW, the 8520 is a great little device, if she doesn't need 3G its a great phone with good reception and battery life (spare batteries are also a couple of quid on eBay). I use it instead of my iPhone 4 sometimes, bought a PAYG 8520 for about £130ish. I find the BB keyboard much better for me than the on-screen one on an iPhone.

I found the 8520 a bit plasticy, broke the trackpad within a couple of hours (it came detached from the case and fell backwards into the phone) - may be it was a fault with that phone, but it kind of put me off the 8520!
