This could probably turn out to be a very interesting film even though there is not that much info around yet apart from the cast list and a brief premise. Not too sure on Kristen Stewart as Snow White but Charlize Theron will be brilliant as the Evil Queen.

The seven dwarves are all named after Roman Emperors and include Ian McShane, Toby Jones (voice of Dobby) and Ray Winstone.

Anyone else think this is one to keep an eye on?

I'm going to wait for the reviews to come out before I decided if I'm going to bother or not. I just cannot stand Kirsten Stewart! Every time I see an image of the movie I just imagine her dreary voice from the Twilight movies.

Nope it's out on May 30th. Premethus is out June 1st.

Guys I've seen it and gotta say really enjoyed it!! For some reason the reviews haven't been great, but there's plenty to enjoy here. All three leads are extremely capable (kristen for once very likeable and Chris doing a great job with emotions towards the end). The effects are good, the cinematography stunning. And Charlize is awesome! Nothing groundbreaking but definitely 2 hours worth spending

Do you mean reviews by film critics? I learned years ago to ignore them. Their tastes are usually the complete opposite to mine.

When I looked last night, this film had a pretty decent rating on the IMDB though.

She's a good actress and is scandal-free in real life. She seems friendly and never has a nasty thing to say about anyone. There's no reason to justify the hostility that some people aim towards her. Anyone who's seen Speak, Panic Room, Adventureland, Welcome to the Rileys etc...knows that she's talented. Unfortunately she bears the brunt of the anti-Twilight opinion, even though it should be Stephenie Meyer being criticised.

I went to see this last night and I was disappointed. The film felt over-long and I couldn't empathise with any of the characters.

The film was visually entertaining but lacked any real spark, in my opinion.

It's nice that someone else sees it the way I do.

The amount of hate she gets flung her way is really insane. I will never understand it.

They should do a similar thing with Cinderella, and again with Sleeping Beauty, and then bring them all together in a final film, a la The Avengers.

No. She really is not a good actress. She is terrible.

No, she really IS a good actress. Given the right role, she's perfectly fine.
