Seeing as alot of other soap characters have one; thought I would create an Appeciation Thread for the much underused and underappreciated Miles Higson; who plays Seth Costello in Hollyoaks.

Appreciate the dead pan acting of the Higson and hope that in time he will actually get a decent storyline from TPTB

Anyway... Posts.... Appreciate and Discuss

Yeah... hopefully will lead to him being used more in the show - especially if it has Silas links

Seth is probably my favourite teen! It sounds strange, but I love how "normal" he is - he's a bit of a black sheep in the family, dorky and not very confident and certainly not a star football. I think he's great at the comedy stuff.

It was quite chilling and upsetting to see him covered in blood like that! I'm really looking forward to Hollyoaks Later.

Agreed - it is a little grim - but hopefully should pave the way for a good storyline

I'm guessing Silas kills the prossie he sleeps with and everyone thinks Seth has done it + he is then arrested etc.

Must be something Silas based

I dont think it will be intentional.

He probably kills her, Seth comes back and disturbs him so Silas flees and then Seth finds the body and everyone thinks he has done it + is arrested.

By the time Silas finds out the lie will be too far along to say Seth is innocent or else he'll implicate himself and possibly reveal himself to be a Serial killer.

So I guess Silas wont mean for Seth to be thought of as a murderer; but would be something that would need to happen to keep Silas' identity as the killer a secret.

[If that makes sense?]

Agreed its good that he should get a storyline - he's been kinda pretty much in the Jason/ Jasmine shadow and the edge of the Carl/ Riley/ Merecedes storyline - but nothing major.

In fact the only really big storyline of not was the getting the dodgy drugs from Gaz - however there was no real continuation from that etc

They do that alot in Hollyoaks though - in fact this year has been pretty bad for it - although lets be honest if it went on we would've had more Gaz, which is never a good thing

That said though it wouldv'e been something interesting to explore seeing as Seth is pretty much overlooked compared to Jasmine/ Jason and the gender issues there and Riley and his big footballer thing.

At first I did not like him at all, but over time he has grown on me. I think he is adorable and so funny. I like it when he has scenes with Jason.

Aaaw, I love Seth, I think he's great.... he does need some better storylines of his own though that don't just fizzle out like someone else said....
