I've seen a few BD players e.g. LG ones that say they play mpeg2 transport stream from network sources - does anyone have one confirmed as working to stream ".ts" files direct from a Humax HDR over their network ?

Spent lunchtime with the nice folks at richer sounds with a sample recording on USB, none of the BluRay players we tried would play, a couple (Sony and Cambridge for example) recognised the file type but refused to play it.

Players we tried :
Sony BDP580
Onkyo BDSP309
Cambridge Audio Azur 751BD
Panasonic DMPBDT310
LG DB670

Looks like the current pack of BD players won't stream from HDR accross the network, sadly.

Don't know if this is any help but the PS3 plays .ts files as long as the are in SD. You can stream them over the network and it also plays blu ray.

My Dune BD Prime 3.0 plays both SD and HD recordings made with my Foxsat HDR (as well as most other video formats).
I haven't tried streaming directly from the Foxsat HDR (I think you need to alter the firmware to do that?). In stead I copy the *.ts files to my NAS and stream from there.
The Dune is a network media player with a Blu-Ray disc drive, rather than a pure Blu-Ray player.
