I am watching a programme via the BBC iPlayer on Freesat.

My question is if I am getting the programme from the broadband connection is the connection between the Freesat set top box and the outside dish necessary once the Freesat set top box has the iPlayer stored in it?

Disconnect 2 sat leads and try.

Without the dish connection you cannot get to the page or red button services to access it.
