I hope Jeana and Lauri will be back full-time next season. They bring the dramaz!
Kick Gretchen, Lydia and Heather. Alexis, Tamra, Vicki should stay. One new housewife - and that is my perfect mix for Season 9. If there will be one, of course. Reunion looks promising, can't wait for Gretchen to get attacked. Sunday's New Jersey was so boring - this show just needs a complete recast. Fire ALL of them, except Teresa. Bring back Danielle, and make Kim D., Kim G., Jen Dalton, Jan and Penny (those ladies that had Dinner with Tre a few episodes ago) full-time. And then let the cameras roll. ![]() I personally would like Alexis gone now. I have never warmed to her, even though she has been more tolerable this season. Anyone who says God is number one in their life, followed by their husband, followed by their kids is a wackjob and has their priorities all wrong. I would like Heather to go too, not because I dislike her, but I think we've seen all we can from her. I'd like all the others back, with Jeana and a new one. As for New Jersey, there is no way they can keep the cast the same for the next season. It is in serious need for a revamp. Get rid of Kathy and Melissa and bring in 2-3 new women. |

yeah sundays show proved the show could not be interesting if they are all getting along BUT neither do we want to see them fighting. So bravo need to axe some of the women i know i keep saying it but Bring Danielle back
when she was on the show there were so many good storylines and the drama was so good to watch i loved how she just wound everyone up

The only housewife in NJ I'm interested in is Teresa. Caroline and Jacqueline were exhausted over a year ago and last year's reunion proved Jacqueline isn't even stable enough to be on this show.
Melissa and Kathy have brought some positives to the show overall - I love Rosie for a start, but I think their presence has made it far too toxic. You're left with a very sour taste in your mouth after the majority of episodes because in the middle of all this fighting are a bunch of innocent children who are all influenced by it all. I miss the days with Danielle - when all the crazy drama was often conducted with many bitchy one-liners and plenty of over the top screeching. Keep Teresa and ditch the rest. Mind you, I don't think Bravo would be so brave to make such a move. Their Season 5 revamp of New York didn't prove to be a runaway success and I'm sure their very skeptical of making any big cast changes to that extent. |

So, Beverly Hills seems to have wrapped filming - last week allabouttrh posted a video of Kyle and Joyce twerking in front of a set, so maybe the new intro's already filmed. Excited about Miami premiere tonight. Mama Elsa suffered a stroke in March, I hope she recovers well. |

It's positively boring, though I did think Gia was super sweet to her Uncle Joe. A child will always give you the truth wont they? ![]() ITV2 is showing series 1 of BH I think. |

ITV2 are currently showing Season 2 of Beverly Hills - if they continue on with Season 3 afterwards then it should start on the 9th September.

It's no good. I shall watch it but I just cant get into Miami. After 3 seasons I don't really remember who's who. I have to be emotionally invested to enjoy TRH. Not to like them but to have a reaction at least.I just don't care whoever it is has been married for 5 years. I cant remember who is in what clique or who's mortal enemies. I cant even remember who's dropped out since last season. Apart from Vancouver S2, this is the only franchise I cant get into or care about. No idea why. |

The Real Housewives of Orange County - Season 8 / Episode 20 - Reunion (Part 1)
You have to love a reunion - and it's the OC where all the ladies seem to have a folder of important documents, emails, text messages and incriminating photographs tucked behind their cushion when they need to prove another housewife is lying her ass off! It seems this year that Gretchen is the housewife to be roasted. Vicki and Tamra, once again, insist that Gretchen cheated on her fiance Jeff (who died 4 years ago!). I have no idea why they are beating a dead horse with this one - she will NEVER admit to this so give it up ladies. So out trots Lauri, clearly clinging to the limelight for dear life! She brings up the story about Vicki being in bed with a man and woman (she knew this little piece of information would form an image in people's minds) but shrewdly left out the fact that they were fully clothed and there were about 20 other people in room too (including herself!) - all this happened about 7 years ago. Telling Gretchen earlier on in the season about this was a smart move on Lauri's part - she knows Gretchen and Vicki don't get on. So just dropping that little piece of information into the mix was enough to basically get Gretchen sh*t-talking and potentially ruining Vicki's reputation. In a way I feel sorry for Lauri - she so desperately wants to be relevant again. Sadly for her, I doubt she'll be back for Season 9. The other highlight of the reunion came when Heather and Lydia got into it regarding Lydia not putting Heather on the cover of her magazine. Let's be honest, Heather is a nothing actress. RH is her biggest TV gig and she knows it. Just looking at her IMDB profile is actually quite pathetic - which is why I think Heather is perfect on a Housewives show - she's so unbelievably unaware it's hilarious! She reminds me of the Countess LuAnn in many respects. I think Lydia has been a breath of fresh air for this show. The moment she advised Slade put $5 into the ''douche jar'' was her highlight. I love how she isn't scared of Heather and her condescending tone. Not one of these Housewives has dared speak up against her. The entire magazine argument was ridiculous though - Lydia could've easily shut it down by simply saying ''Yes, I had a 10-page spread in the magazine and Marilyn Monroe only had 8 pages. But guess what? IT'S MY MAGAZINE SO I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!'' I mean, you can't argue with that. I did love Lydia telling Heather that Lisa Vanderpump has a higher profile. Heather's over-inflated ego took a knock with that one!The Real Housewives of New Jersey - Season 5 / Episode 11 - Children of the Scorned So we're back to Jacqueline and Teresa's sit down meeting. I love how they get a big room all to themselves It's as if producers couldn't promise the owners that things wouldn't kick off so they compromised and bundled them off to a private room! First of all, I find this entire meeting odd. It's rather obvious to me that producers told both ladies that no matter what is said during this meeting, the result will have to be that they can be civil and move forward. In true reality, these woman would never want to be near each other again. Jacqueline brings up how after making up the last time in Napa that she overheard Teresa badmouthing her. ''To who?'' asks Teresa. ''I dunno, Melissa I think'' replies Jacqueline. This apparently happened when the cameras were down so no mics picked it up. But I'd guess it wasn't Melissa she said to at all - just some Bravo producer who forced them to make up in the first place for the sake of the ''storyline''. Meanwhile, downstairs Joe and Chris discuss Nick's autism. Chris continues to talk as if they can cure it. Anyway, mission accomplished - they now promise to be civil. Meanwhile, Gia's getting ready for her day out with her uncle Joe. She's in that rolly eyes phase where absolutely everything is ''immature''. She's doing her make-up with her friends who all clearly watch the Housewives. These are ''Junior Plastics'' So off she goes go-karting with Joe. They sit down and discuss how all this fighting has affected her. She quite rightly reminds him that when he was calling her mother ''garbage'' and thumping tables in frustration - she was right there witnessing it all. He doesn't actually apologise for it but I'm glad he's aware that his actions had repercussions on more people. So the Guidices, Laurita's, Wakile's and Gorga's attend Teresa's zumba fund-raising event. The Guidice girls not knowing who Kathy, Rosie and Richie were was quite sad though. Milania climbing the pole on the coach and saying she's Melissa - I DIED! ![]() So Jacqueline has decided she wants a tummy tuck and a neck lift. She's meeting Ashley/Ashlee out in Beverly Hills to do it. There's some weird insinuations with this entire scenario - she's got a child at home with autism and another son who's fallen sick. They also make a point of saying Jacqueline didn't call home to check up on them - cut to Jacqueline going against doctors orders, ordering a large meal and doing shots! It does paint a bad picture, right? So she has the surgery and we're treated to a nice shot of her flesh (including tattoo) cut off and resting nicely on a table! ![]() \\// |

Well well well, ho'wivers. Miami is back and is sexier than ever!
The beginning of the episode where Joanna gets off the plane is clearly as fake as Taylor Armstrong's hermes handbag collection, as if Joanna has her own private jet to fly in. Lea is there waiting, ready to play the victim (funnily enough the same thing she accused Marysol of at the reunion- speaking of the reunion, why do all the ladies keep saying 'when we met over the summer'? Very bizarre, it's a bit like NJ saying 'going away' instead of jail, I mean c'mon, lets just call an apple an apple. We know about the reunion ladies incase you forgot.) Anyway, Lea moans about Adrianna not jumping to her defence at the 'meeting over the summer'...she even steals the infamous "it's the silence of your friends.." Line from Lisa Vanderdump - no that's not a typo. Lol. Lea feels betrayed and believes Adrianna used her for money as she thought she was helping a single mother, when in secret ( I use term the secret very loosely here as not only is it information available to the public but also Lea was supposed to be the maid of honour.) Adrianna was in fact married to Frederick since 2008. Joanna, on the other hand, in her TH interview takes the high road and says its between Lea and Adrianna although its blatantly obvious she is revelling in this, she can't even hide the joy from her facial expression. Next up, the Cubans and Lisa attend Miami Fashion Week to look at a wedding thing with Adrianna who is fashionably late. The women are looking spectacular might I add! Definitely the hottest housewives from all the shows. Lisa and Ana get into it over something minuscule. Lisa is annoying me as she's transformed into this ditzy stereotype and is talking like she is a minor- even more so than before. I'm unsure why they cut Ana's 'I'm happy you can read' quip when it was in the trailer. Anyway, the marriage license topic is brought up by Lisa and Alexia completely shuts her down saying if people have a problem they should talk to Adrianna. Very mature of Mrs Echevarria (what an awesome name, I love saying it!). Adrianna arrives and Lisa asks for her side and so we are then taken to 1 week ago, it's like something from a comedy sketch. Adrianna and Frederick are on their boat that looks... Just like it did last season despite Fredericks claims that its improved. They argue a bit like something from a soap. Adrianna blames Frederick for all her problems in life. Frederick does an impression of Lea and it almost killed me, that was the highlight of the episode for me and I would love to have seen Lea's face when she seen it! They get in the car and it doesn't start. Adrianna gets out and stomps up the road, this scene is so fake but it's hilarious and so...Adrianna. Back to the event and from the women's faces we're supposed to come to the conclusion that the women have been told the story. Alexia isn't shocked and thinks things like this are normal in Miami...well I suppose if your child attacks a homeless man and your first response was he's a dumbass for filming it you aren't going to have great moral standards or expectations from others. Adrianna and Lea both have different opinions on how much Lea had actually done to help Adrianna. Adrianna also calls BS on Lea claiming she didn't know because she was her maid of honour! *gasps all around*. Lisa suggests the two meet up to talk. Lea drops Joanna off to Romain at a car dealers. He gives her a new white convertible and I get a little jealous. Those two look so good together but he's a nightclub owner and she's a crazy, violent alcoholic so it's a disaster waiting to happen. Alexia meets with her boys at her mothers who is over from Spain. Her mother seems like another who may steal the show, the mothers are taking over the housewives. It's great to see how far Frankie has recovered. It disgusts me how they try make excuses for Peter. He's wrong, admit it and deal with it! Lea is redecorating and uses famous decorators. She makes a few sneaky, condescending jabs at Adrianna and her previous money troubles. Freda is fantastic as usual, I'd pretend I couldn't hear and wasn't good at English if Lea wanted to talk to me too. Lea may have a lot of money but my god her taste in decor is atrocious, and that's being polite. I'm over Lea now. She is like the well spoken, politically correct edition of Tamra Barney. The women (Joanna, Marysol, Alexia, Adrianna) meet up at Lisa's. Ana is not invited because she doesn't get on with Lea, claims Lisa. I'm not buying it, Lisa doesn't like her and she just needs to admit it. Lea calls and cancels. Marysol and Joanna make small talk with Marysol looking like she couldn't care less for Joanna. Marysol even asks about Marta, which I'm unsure if that was a dig at Joanna or not, because she never asked anything about her or even showed much excitement about them setting a date. Adrianna and Joanna have an awkward greeting where they hand shake. They are both wearing white which is suspiciously convenient considering they are both being married later in the season. Joanna and Adrianna get into it over Lea and the marriage license which after an episode I'm already over. It needs its own tag line at the beginning of the episode, it was in almost every scene. Marysol's talking head when she realised Lea wasn't coming was hysterical. Everyone starts talking over one another and it just sounds like white noise. Marysol is, for the first time in three seasons, speaking up and telling them to be quiet and to put things in perspective. Things get deep as its revealed about Mama Elsa's condition. It's heart warming to know that Adrianna and Alexia have been to see Mama Elsa, that's true friendship right there and is one of the reasons I'm drawn to the Latinas, they just seem more authentic. I feel really bad for Marysol because apart from Mama Elsa who does she have? No father, siblings, children or husband. It's very sad. It's great that the girls all cheers to Mama Elsa and we end on a good note. I'm still confused to the whole marriage license thing but from what I can gather Adrianna and Frederick went fast into the relationship and maybe Adrianna was on the rebound from her 1st marriage and after he cancelled because of her son freaking out about it I think she just got even more hurt and embarrassed than she was already from the breakdown of her previous marriage. I believe Lea knew and is using it to her advantage as always. I disliked Karent but it feels odd without her. The irony of Lea's tag line last season being about not being able to deal with stupid and now her being good friends with Lisa is unreal. I feel bad that only Adrianna and Frederick turned up to Lisa's party when everyone was in town. Says a lot about them all really. We need more Ana. I like how she brings the forbidden character trait to the housewives shows - intelligence. Even if she is a bitch lol. Marysol contributed more to this episode than most of last season. She looks more relaxed as well. I think she no longer feels pressured to bring it as she isn't a main housewive and so she is enjoying it more. Really looking forward to this season! Kyle Richards tweeted that Beverly Hills is back in the fall, probably November. They filmed the finale the other day. I'm looking forward to it and think we may get it as early as October. Love BumbleSquat's recaps! I'm so over New Jersey. It has fallen to the bottom of my housewives list. It's such a chore to watch. I can't wait for the Jen and Kim D drama to come. I'm bored of the cast the no, even Tre is boring me atm. Gia needs to just shhh! Milania, however, is hysterical and needs her own show. Loved the OC reunion. Might recap on it later if I have time. |

Fab recaps of The OC and NJ BumbleSquatI don't have much to say, its been done so well! I'm feeling SO bored by NJ as well. The only one I can stand to watch is Tre. I just cant stand Jac, she's as fake as they come and a complete loon. Agreed it was so obvious that her meeting with Tre was only going to end one way, be civil and play nice for the cameras. Gia is by far the smartest person on this entire show. And she's what? 12 or 13? I was so glad she spelled out to Poison about the behaviour of this lot, again though, she's 12! And we had the return of Ashlee, who I'm still not interested in at all. Jacs surgery was awful- I really did not need to see that! Also, Milania on the party bus on the pole "I'm Melissa" LOVED that! The OC was fab- roll on part 2 and 3. Cant stand Gretchen so I'm thrilled she's taking it from all corners this time- but really, Tamra and Vicki bringing up the Jeff stuff again?! We did this 4 years ago ad nauseum! And nobody cares anymore. Gretchen will never, ever cop to anything now. Does anyone even care anymore anyway? Lauri needs to go away, and quick! The desperation reeks off her. She's panting to get back on this show, I just hope Andy doesn't do just that, but I can totally see her being back in some capacity next season. Everything about her offends me, her awful hair, that awful tan, and the seriously bad surgery. Plus the desperate personality! ![]() Loved Alexis taking her minute in the sun and throwing Gretchen under the bus! She's been great this season- I've really warmed to her, and she's looked fab all season. Its no wonder Gretchen hates her! Also, what the hell is Gretchen dress all about? I'm sure I had a Barbie with that same dress when I was a kid! Andrew I loved your recap of Miami I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I cant wait! I've been counting down the days till Miami came back. I've seen a little bit of the ep, and it looks fab, glossy and sexy. They haven't skimped on the production values, it looks how I think a Housewives show should look. Cant wait to sit and watch it properly. tally usually we are soul sisters when it comes to the Housewives, but I think we differ on Miami I love it. Its right after Atlanta for me I think. I just really enjoyed Season 2, and I think also its such a tonic compared to NJ.

New Jersey Season 6 to begin filming next month!
No surprise that Bravo want to cash in on this media story of Teresa and Joe's fraud trial. They've basically just bumped the production up about 2 months to cover it. I wonder what Housewives will be back with Teresa though. Everyone has been saying for a long time that NJ needs a big recast. The only other housewife I can see definitely back is Melissa - love her or loathe her. Caroline, although clearly an Andy Cohen favourite - may not want to do it. It seems her time on the show is winding down. |

Id rather Melissa go, but realistically I don't think she's going anywhere. Caroline, Jac and Kathy need to go though. Just get rid. I understand the point of bringing them back for this current season to "make nice" and do damage control from Season 4, but they just cant do another season with this cast. From what I gather the ratings this season aren't brilliant, and the main criticism I hear tends to be the need for a fresh cast. Lets hope Bravo feel the same. |

RHONJ has been so boring recently. I'm glad they've made peace but it just seems to be going around in circles. If from the previews Melissa think then Teresa is spreading rumours about her then I will be nearly done I think. How many times can we have this story. Saying that being a complete hypocrite (I should be a housewife lol) I do think that for season 6 Teresa and Melissa are the only ones who should stay on. Caroline, Jacqueline and kathy add nothing interesting to the show.
The reunion was so good on RHOC, so petty and so bitchy and so mean but without being overly dark and was a perfect blend. The whole gretchen cheating saga being brought up again was a bit of a drag tbh. She will never ever admit to it, in my gut I think gretchen did cheat or at least had an innapropriate relationship with this guy while jeff was dying but she will never ever admit it so what is the point of trying. I have been loving vicki this season and although she may not of come off well in the reunion so far I think she owned lauri and made her look stupid. I don't think what vicki did with the letter was malicious but what lauri did coming back on the show was and for her to say she never worked for vicki made her look like such an idiot. I also liked Lydia taking on heather, her imdb comment was so funny ![]() I'm a big lover of the RHOM but I thought that the premiere was good but not great. The hour was dominated really by the feud between Adriana and Lea and at this point I am #teamlea! I don't really care that Adriana was married but it still is a lie. She says she never felt married but I bet when she got tax breaks for being legally married she felt married haha but I can understand why lea would be upset that Adriana said nothing when Lea got attacked at the reunion. The fight between Adriana and her husband on the boat seemed so fake and she's just trying to do damage limitation after getting caught lying. I'm glad to see Alexia promoted to full housewife again. I always liked her. You can tell the budget is higher this season but the cinematography seemed so odd for a housewives show (like the cutting back and forth in time, the getting ready shots) but I guess I'll get use to it. Anyway looks like it is going to be a good season

Thanks Sassy! Can't wait to hear your thoughts too.
Kimkam_kim - you are complaining that the show is going round in circles but you want Melissa and Tre to both stay on, how could that work? I, for one, think that if both stay on the show, the show will never move forward and the storyline will be constant with them two. One needs to go- more likely Melissa. As boring as kathy is, I wouldn't mind her staying on. Caroline and Jac can go, far, far away! Also, why would Adrianna stand up for Lea against Ana when Lea didn't stand up for Adrianna against Joanna? In fact she took Joanna's side and they became bff's. I agree on the cinematography, I think they're aiming for a younger audience for this franchise though and I love it! It's just so modern and sexy. Unlike the trailer it doesn't look cheap either! I agree on the OC too! I'm most excited for Brianna vs Brooks, that will be epic. I've never seen her so mad in the full 8 seasons! |

O God, no surprises there at all. I guess this was always going to be the case. Bravo wont want to let any of this mess pass them by.
I actually don't mind if they are going to cover Tre's legal dramas, but PLEASE re-cast before Season 6 begins. This show needs a clear out badly. I would personally like to see Melissa and Kathy stay on for the next season and het rid of the Manzo's and Jaq. Bring in 2 new wives and definitely keep Rosie as she has become one of my favourites. They have to shake up the cast though, as even though this is still the second highest rated show of the franchise, the ratings are down to what they were last year and that's with all the free promotion they are getting from Tre and Juicy's trial. Loving Miami and the way it is shot. It just looks so different to the others and in a good way. Hope the ratings improve on last season though, as if they don't, this may be the last one. |

It's no good. I shall watch it but I just cant get into Miami. After 3 seasons I don't really remember who's who. I have to be emotionally invested to enjoy TRH. Not to like them but to have a reaction at least.
Anyway, mission accomplished - they now promise to be civil.
So off she goes go-karting with Joe.
