The Real Housewives of Orange County - Season 8 / Episode 20 - Reunion (Part 1)
You have to love a reunion - and it's the OC where all the ladies seem to have a folder of important documents, emails, text messages and incriminating photographs tucked behind their cushion when they need to prove another housewife is lying her ass off! It seems this year that Gretchen is the housewife to be roasted. Vicki and Tamra, once again, insist that Gretchen cheated on her fiance Jeff (who died 4 years ago!). I have no idea why they are beating a dead horse with this one - she will NEVER admit to this so give it up ladies.
So out trots Lauri, clearly clinging to the limelight for dear life! She brings up the story about Vicki being in bed with a man and woman (she knew this little piece of information would form an image in people's minds) but shrewdly left out the fact that they were fully clothed and there were about 20 other people in room too (including herself!) - all this happened about 7 years ago. Telling Gretchen earlier on in the season about this was a smart move on Lauri's part - she knows Gretchen and Vicki don't get on. So just dropping that little piece of information into the mix was enough to basically get Gretchen sh*t-talking and potentially ruining Vicki's reputation. In a way I feel sorry for Lauri - she so desperately wants to be relevant again. Sadly for her, I doubt she'll be back for Season 9.
The other highlight of the reunion came when Heather and Lydia got into it regarding Lydia not putting Heather on the cover of her magazine. Let's be honest, Heather is a nothing actress. RH is her biggest TV gig and she knows it. Just looking at her IMDB profile is actually quite pathetic - which is why I think Heather is perfect on a Housewives show - she's so unbelievably unaware it's hilarious! She reminds me of the Countess LuAnn in many respects.
I think Lydia has been a breath of fresh air for this show. The moment she advised Slade put $5 into the ''douche jar'' was her highlight.

I love how she isn't scared of Heather and her condescending tone. Not one of these Housewives has dared speak up against her. The entire magazine argument was ridiculous though - Lydia could've easily shut it down by simply saying ''Yes, I had a 10-page spread in the magazine and Marilyn Monroe only had 8 pages. But guess what? IT'S MY MAGAZINE SO I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!'' I mean, you can't argue with that. I did love Lydia telling Heather that Lisa Vanderpump has a higher profile. Heather's over-inflated ego took a knock with that one!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey - Season 5 / Episode 11 - Children of the Scorned
So we're back to Jacqueline and Teresa's sit down meeting. I love how they get a big room all to themselves

It's as if producers couldn't promise the owners that things wouldn't kick off so they compromised and bundled them off to a private room! First of all, I find this entire meeting odd. It's rather obvious to me that producers told both ladies that no matter what is said during this meeting, the result will have to be that they can be civil and move forward. In true reality, these woman would never want to be near each other again. Jacqueline brings up how after making up the last time in Napa that she overheard Teresa badmouthing her. ''To who?'' asks Teresa. ''I dunno, Melissa I think'' replies Jacqueline. This apparently happened when the cameras were down so no mics picked it up. But I'd guess it wasn't Melissa she said to at all - just some Bravo producer who forced them to make up in the first place for the sake of the ''storyline''. Meanwhile, downstairs Joe and Chris discuss Nick's autism. Chris continues to talk as if they can cure it.

Anyway, mission accomplished - they now promise to be civil.
Meanwhile, Gia's getting ready for her day out with her uncle Joe. She's in that rolly eyes phase where absolutely everything is ''immature''. She's doing her make-up with her friends who all clearly watch the Housewives. These are ''Junior Plastics''

So off she goes go-karting with Joe. They sit down and discuss how all this fighting has affected her. She quite rightly reminds him that when he was calling her mother ''garbage'' and thumping tables in frustration - she was right there witnessing it all. He doesn't actually apologise for it but I'm glad he's aware that his actions had repercussions on more people.
So the Guidices, Laurita's, Wakile's and Gorga's attend Teresa's zumba fund-raising event. The Guidice girls not knowing who Kathy, Rosie and Richie were was quite sad though. Milania climbing the pole on the coach and saying she's Melissa - I DIED!
So Jacqueline has decided she wants a tummy tuck and a neck lift. She's meeting Ashley/Ashlee out in Beverly Hills to do it. There's some weird insinuations with this entire scenario - she's got a child at home with autism and another son who's fallen sick. They also make a point of saying Jacqueline didn't call home to check up on them - cut to Jacqueline going against doctors orders, ordering a large meal and doing shots! It does paint a bad picture, right? So she has the surgery and we're treated to a nice shot of her flesh (including tattoo) cut off and resting nicely on a table!
