tally usually we are soul sisters when it comes to the Housewives, but I think we differ on Miami I love it. Its right after Atlanta for me I think. I just really enjoyed Season 2, and I think also its such a tonic compared to NJ. I've tried Sassy, I really have. I'd put Miami on a par with NJ except I have deep rooted prejudices about the NJ cast. Miami I just cant love or hate them, I don't care enough. This is a new phenomenon for me. I love my trash TV and even so called "bad" RH's I enjoy (Washington DC e,g,) I also haven't a clue why I'm not bored with the concept because I cant wait for Part 2 of the OC Reunion.I'm going to stick with it though. I don't give up that easily.

I've never been able to get in to Atlanta, New Jersey or Miami for some reason. However I'm absolutely addicted to New York, Orange County and Beverley Hills! However now I don't have a television, I'm watching at US Speed online - or rather trying to catch up!

I started at Miami season two and after 5/6 episodes I was hooked! It's definitely a grower and worth sticking with. Or even start at the new season, we're one episode in. Happy catchup! |

I enjoy Miami but why isn't Marysol a full cast member and Ana for that matter? Oh and where the heck is Karent? Have I been living under a rock but why aren't these women back on the show any more?
Not a fan of Alexia (the blonde one) as she was pretty mean towards Karent last season for no apparent reason. |

Not a fan of Alexia (the blonde one) as she was pretty mean towards Karent last season for no apparent reason. Ana claims she had to step down from main cast due to being busy with her cook books and other writing as well as doing other TV shows (most notably co hosting Good Morning America). However, there has been rumours it was a producer decision. Karent was fired. It's an odd decision because last season the storyline mostly revolved around her. She's had a string of bad luck recently with foreclosure's and car crashes. |

I don't give up that easily. ![]() maybe this new season will grab you as it gets going. For me, my love of Miami was a real surprise, we all know Season 1 was awful, but Season 2 just had the right balance for me, it took a few eps to get into, but I was totally hooked. And I think this season is going to be a good one. I'm the same though tally even if I'm not enjoying Housewives show, ill still watch- I cant help myself! ![]() I enjoyed the premiere, Andrew did a fab job of recapping it earlier, so I just have a few things to add. Firstly, its deff got a certain "look" about it this year, the production values are sky high and it really looks the part. Glossy, and polished come to mind. I love Miami as a City, and the place just looks incredible on the show. Its like another character for me. The back in time and getting ready shots, as kimkam mentioned were a bit different, I don't know if it'll stick through the season, but I didn't mind it. Overall, I love the look of the show and its got a real fresh energy to it that the other franchises don't have. Still cant stand Joanna, but I see the need for her on the show, so in that sense she's great to watch. She's such a beautiful girl, its a shame she's a total loon Loved the car Romain got her- #JEALOUS! and I think Andrew said this, but they are SUCH a gorgeous couple. I'm unsure over all the Adriana/Lea mess. Its a shame when 2 people who have been close for years fall out. Id like to see them patch things up eventually. Adrianna has always been one of my faves on this show, and I still love her, but I just don't see her need to lie about being married. It seems a bit off. I'm not as big a fan of Lea's, but we will see what happens as the season goes. Either way, I cant wait to see Adriana's "wedding". I thought her (fake) fight with Frederic was hilarious, especially when she started screaming about hating vintage "vintage cars, vintage boats.....everything is vintage" ![]() I agree about Marysol, she seemed much more present in this first ep than she ever has before, and I think its due to being a "friend" this season rather than a full time cast mate, I think maybe she isn't feeling the pressure as much. Such a shame about Mama Elsa, hope she's getting better, she's a scary lady but fab to watch. She stole the show last season. Alexia is back full time, I'm not sure about her yet, I liked her in Season 1, really did not like her last season, but lets see what this season brings. She's had a lot on her plate with her boys, that's for sure. It was terrible about her son Frankies accident, but this other one- she needs to STOP with the excuses for him. I'm sorry, what he did to that homeless guy was disgusting and there's no way to justify it. She needs to stop excusing him, and start sorting him out. Lisa I love, she was one of my faves last year so I'm happy to watch her again. I thought it was quite funny how she was a bit intimidated at being left with Marysol, Alexia, and Ana, I get it! Its such a shame they haven't had any luck in getting pregnant, but now they are considering a surrogate. It looks like its shaping up to be a great season though, and I cant wait. It was a bit strange that Karent wasn't asked back, considering she was a big part of last seasons dramas. I read an interview with Joanna though and she said Karent would make a few little appearances on the show. Not at all bothered about Ana being demoted though, she seems to have hinted that something happened during filming so Id like to know what that was. I said I only wanted to write a few things, and I've gone on loads- Oh Well!

Marysol has said she couldn't be full time because she had to look after Mama Elsa who was very ill during the season. She was quite bland so the producers also agreed that was the best role for her. She said this in an interview a while back, it was reported by allabouttrh.
I don't think Ana will be missed. She came across as uber bitchy in the reunion and it seemed like she was doing it to appear relevant. For her faults I quite enjoyed Karent being on the show. Of only to see how much she got on the nerves of some of the other housewives. |

Although I am a bloke and am straight, I have to confess I love and am addicted to RH.
Watching RHOM- this is going to look like an amazing season. I want to watch it. Miami has to be the best out of the franchises. Mostly because it is different. I am team Lea. OC- Loving the reunion. Roll on next week when they go after Gretchen. |

Roll on next week when they go after Gretchen. The only thing I didn't like about the Season premiere was that Alexia and her god awful son Peter were in it. Just seen this weeks NJ and it was meh! It was so obvious that Teresa had said stuff to Melissa's ex friend's, I don't know why she didn't just admit it, as it was when she and Melissa were not speaking. I seriously don't know why I still watch NJ as it is looking so tired now with the same cast/storyline, but what can I say, i'm a HW junkie. |

Was it just me or was this weeks RHONJ a complete dud? I'm bored of Melissa having suspicions about Teresa. I'm bored of Teresa not admitting to anything. The fact that she stood there and said to Penny "tell her we're not friends!" just makes me believe they are all stuck in high school and need to grow the hell up.
Kathy is nice but she is too boring for television. Her business is boring, her husband is annoying and her storyline is about cannoli's. The fact that she has a gay sister is probably the most interesting thing about her at this point. Jacqueline has had a bunch of plastic surgery and her kids really missed her this week when she went away for some more. Considering the leaks about their financial situations, they sure do like to go through money like it's water. Caroline was busy this week trying to figure out where to place a rug in the new apartment. Fascinating stuff. I'll probably watch the rest as I'm hooked on all of them and that's what these shows are like. It is all starting to grate on me though and perhaps I should just take a rest. |

It was a complete dud, sooty except I felt thoroughly in need of a good wash after watching and listening to Kathy's utter MCP of a husband. Gawd, Rich disgusts me. The man is so dripping in grease you could run a chip shop from him.
It was so meh otherwise I cant even bring myself to do a recap. |

The Real Housewives of New Jersey - Season 5/Episode 12 - Hair-binger Of Doom - Recap
Before I get into it regarding this episode, may I just say the only person who deserves their own spin-off is Milania. I'm not sure what the demographic for the show would be but I'd watch regardless. It would be ''fahhhh-bulous!!'' ![]() So back to ''reality'' and the episode begins with Teresa stopping by to visit Melissa. Milania wants to see Melissa's recording studio in the basement - probably so she can blow the dust off the knobs... Anyway, they discuss Teresa's new hair-care product and Melissa unveils the mock up of her book cover. ''I think Melissa looks beautiful on the cover, but where the hell is my brother? It's supposed to be about the 2 of them and having the perfect marriage,'' says Teresa in her talking head. She has a point. Teresa can't even muster up enough energy to fake some enthusiasm! Melissa now wonders why, when this book is about to released, that all these people seem to be coming out of the woodwork creating rumours about her cheating. Melissa, darling, Bravo is setting you up for a fall. Writing a book about the perfect marriage whilst these cheating rumours just happen to come out? That's a funny-as-hell storyline! So Jacqueline is returning from 90210 with her new stomach and neck. Some fans have been calling her Wacko Jacko for a few years now and if she continues with all this surgery the nickname will be about more than just her mental state! So Kathy and Richie are out grocery shopping. They stop by the bakery section and it's taking all my strength not to lick the screen when they show shots of all the cakes and desserts! It's so obvious Richie views Kathy's business venture as just some fun little hobby the wife wants to do. You can almost hear him say ''I'll let her bake her little cannoli's but I'm the boss because I'm the man!'' ![]() So Joe Gorga gets the men together (minus Juicy Joe) at a cigar bar. Richie's disappointed because he believed a cigar bar was code for strip joint! Joe asks Richie and Chris for advice about what to do for Melissa's birthday... Take her away on a relaxing trip is the suggestion... which ends up with the entire cast and crew being invited along to this place in Arizona too! How romantic and thoughtful! So we drop in with the Manzos and bloody hell! The drama! I can't take it, it's so tense! Where will Caroline put this new rug?! Lauren and Vito go out to dinner. She explains that her focus is no longer just on their relationship - she has a business to run too. Oh please! You can be married and run a failed business too! Joe Gorga talks to Melissa about his meeting with the boys. He tells her he's taking her away somewhere for her birthday. ''We can do Vegas'' suggests Melissa. Joe butts in - ''No, we'll do this...'' and tells her about the spa in Arizona. Probably because Bravo has already booked the entire trip for the cast and crew - so she'll have to make do. Melissa's visibly less than thrilled. She has a look on her face as if she's smelling a toxic fart at the thought of spending her birthday with Teresa! They're out in a restaurant and the entire group join them for dinner. This doesn't seem to be a special occasion - just dinner, which seems rare these days. They're all in for this trip to Arizona. The night ends with no snide remarks - has hell frozen over? Melissa receives a call from Teresa inviting her to the hair-care product launch. Teresa explains that this will be Melissa's chance to confront these women who have been bringing up the cheating rumours and reminds her that she has no say in who's invited! Anyway, Teresa assures Melissa she'll have her back during the whole thing. Melissa reluctantly agrees. She knows she's being enticed to the lions den. So the highlight of the entire episode (probably season) comes when we see Milania has randomly stuffed a bra down her top and is strutting around the house like it's normal. It's the night of the Milania hair care product launch and it's like gay sequined unicorn exploded all over the camera. Hairspray has married Sequins and they held the ceremony in New Jersey! Melissa and Teresa are talking and you see the ''mean girls'' - Penny, Kim D and Jan hover around, waiting for their cue. In comes Jan and Melissa doesn't really acknowledge her until Jan pushes her to say something. They get into it, accusations fly and Teresa is left standing there looking awkward as they hash it out. It's not really having Melissa's back... So Penny gets her cue, and once again Melissa has to hash it out with her. At this point, Teresa butts in and uses this opportunity to clear her name over last year's Posche fashion show debacle. I watched this at 2am on live stream to Bravo - so when I heard Joe and Melissa once again question Teresa's loyalty, I groaned so loud my neighbours 3 doors away probably heard me! Next week's preview didn't show anything at all exciting. I don't care if the Wakile marriage seems to be on the rocks. I don't care about this family feud. I don't care about the cheating rumours. I wanted to be told where Caroline eventually placed this damn rug! Still none the wiser.

LOL, Soo funny. It amazes me that they are giving the Manzo's a spin off. Hopefully this will mean they are off next season of NJ and we can have some fresh meat. This week's whole episode was pure filler until the last 10 minutes. |

I'm just getting caught up on series 2 of Beverly Hills on ITV2; this afternoon's episode was Lisa's tea party. Many things leave me mystified! Why did no-one stand up for Lisa when Taylor was being so horribly passive-aggressive and melodramatic?
The entire drama seemed to hang on a misquoted comment which Taylor repeated (in the misquoted version) over and over again. Lisa had clearly said "I'm not saying I'm masquerading as your best friend", and Taylor distorted this into "I'm not your friend". Then Taylor launched into a tearful barrage of accusations towards Lisa (accusing her of judging her and only offering help to make herself look like a saint,) which didn't seem remotely fair or accurate. I really felt for Lisa, especially when the rest of the group stayed quiet and failed to defend her. It's incredibly frustrating when someone keeps misrepresenting something that has been said, especially when they hang so much drama on it and use it as a basis for such an attack. Was there any reason why the rest of them just sat back and kept quiet? Why didn't someone stick up for Lisa? |

I'm team Lea too. Adrianna is such a total beyatch. Didn't buy her 'story' at all regarding being married.
Lea is so shady, to be honest the cynic tells me she's creating an issue with Adriana because Adriana is the only one relevant enough for Lea to avoid what would have been the inevitable rivalry storyline with Ana after the reunion. She threatened legal action and had a lot of what Ana said removed from the reunion and it looks like she's refusing to film with Ana... she obviously doesn't want to go there (either majorly pissed off or running scared). But to do that she needs something bigger, an alternative, and a rivalry with Adriana fits that bill. |

I have never liked Taylor.... in series one her intro is 'I may look like I have it all but I want more' and she also discusses how her relationship with Russell is 80./. Business. She knew the deal - she chose money over love however now the problem is she is obviously the poorest Rhobh, she is running with seriously wealthy women and she and Russell don't come close; she wants more and Russell is not delivering.
I do not condone any violence and if it is true that she was hit she should have got the hell out. However if my friend told me she was being hit I would believe them, it's interesting that all the housewives have doubts about the validity of what she says. |

She's a gold digger of the highest order, like Kim from Atlanta. The difference is Kim owned it. Taylor is way out of her league with the seriously rich women of BH. Maybe she'd fit in better with the OC lot. They're all nouveau riche, if not hiding a serious amount of debt trying to outdo each other. But she seems to me, to be fake through and through. It's not bringing her happiness, though gawd knows how her relationship with her lawyer is going. Maybe I wouldn't be so critical if it was just her. But she has a young child who is dependent on her. What sort of life is she promoting? Appearance not substance is everything? |

Just been catching up with the Housewives-
BumbleSquat what a fab review of NJ honestly, Id rather spend 40mins reading your recap, than actually watching the ep itself! Infinitely more amusing! I'm seriously struggling with NJ. This weeks ep was just such a chore to get through, I'm counting down the days till this season is over. Anyone remember the days when NJ was must watch?! I used to count down the days till the next ep. Now I find it a struggle to get through one episode. Agreed with everyone, the highlight was Milania running around in that stuffed bra she's such a terror child, but I love seeing her- she's too funny! Milania rules the roost in that house and its so funny to watch. I have to say I love Tre's girls, Gia is the smartest person on this show by a mile!Caroline and the rug? that was literally Carolines sole input this ep. So over her, go away and please take Jac with you. Cant stand the woman anymore. And if we have no more Caroline, that means no more Manzo kids. I have a major dislike for Lauren. So, she's no longer interested in marrying Vito- well that's hardly a shock. I get the feeling Vito was fine for her before the lap band and losing all that weight, now that she's skinny, I think she's wondering if maybe there's someone better out there for her. She would be doing Vito a favour, the girl has real issues and she would drive you mental! Kathy I do like. She's just not made for tv, she doesn't bring anything to the show. Richie is a nightmare though, God knows how she puts up with him. What is it with the men on NJ, they all majorly creep me out. Cris Laurita I quite like, I just feel sorry for him that hes married to crazy Jac! And back to Melissa being accused of cheating etc by a supposed "friend". I just don't care anymore. This storyline has been running forever and it just needs to lay down now! The horse bolted a LONG time ago. At least we have The OC and Miami to entertain us though ![]() Loved Part 2 of The OC reunion. It was rip Gretchen to shreds time and I loved it. I cannot stand the girl. Don't even get me started on that fake plastic crying. Please! And when she started saying the one thing she regrets about her engagement was not having Alexis there?! As if. She was just as big a bitch to Alexis as the rest of them, and hasn't made even a slight effort with her this season. Alexis wasn't buying it and neither was anyone else. I feel bad for Alexis in a way as I genuinely think there's a part of her that misses Gretchen-God only knows why though. I did laugh at Gretchen saying Alexis is fake on camera what show is Gretch watching?! they are all fake on camera! Heather says Gretchen and Slades engagement felt "hollow" Id go with that. It was such a desperate attempt at a spin-off/wedding special. Totally agree with debailey72 she went OTT with the proposal because it was being filmed by the show. Tamra must have been loving all of that, sitting back with her wedding special already secured! They did a whole back and forth on the Malibu Country thing, and really Heather just needs to let it go. Nobody cared then, and we don't now. Next week looks good though, well, despite the fact desperate Brooks is popping up to talk crap, but we have Brianna coming on and it looks like Vicki is having walk out. You have to love it! Haven't had a chance to watch Miami yet, but hopefully ill catch up tonight. |

In spite of telling myself not to I watched the tea party episode again on ITV2 this is at least the 3rd time I have seen it (once on Bio and twice on ITV2) and Taylor's behaviour still grates. She wears a victim's hat, then has a pop at the others for daring to speak out or say something she doesn't like. The way she kept repeating her own version of what Lisa did not say and not wanting to accept otherwise was annoying. I am pleased to hear from posters here that she plays a lesser part in series 3, I just wish ITV2 would buy it and show it. |

I love it.
I'm not bored with the concept because I cant wait for Part 2 of the OC Reunion.

maybe this new season will grab you as it gets going. For me, my love of Miami was a real surprise, we all know Season 1 was awful, but Season 2 just had the right balance for me, it took a few eps to get into, but I was totally hooked. And I think this season is going to be a good one.
It's so obvious Richie views Kathy's business venture as just some fun little hobby the wife wants to do. You can almost hear him say ''I'll let her bake her little cannoli's but I'm the boss because I'm the man!''
Still none the wiser.
