Got to say, I am actually like Miami this season. It feels different to the rest of the RH and the women a lot more watchable. It is bit of a telenova.

Definitely Vancouver starting on monday on itv2 bizarre when they have yet again re run season 1&2 of BH. This means when they do eventually air season 3 we will have to watch 1&2 again first:yawn:

The Real Housewives of New Jersey - Season 5/Episode 14 - ''Horse Whisper To A Scream'' RECAP

The highlight of this week's NJ episode was Wyatt, the equine therapist, saying Melissa had a ''wh*re-on-a-stroll walk''! BOOM!

It was actually a pretty decent episode this week. The entire gang opened up with this therapy involving the horse - everyone apart from Teresa and the Gorgas. It was once again proof for Caroline that Teresa and Melissa are actually the same person. Even Joe Guidice opened up about his fears of ''going away'' (or jail as anyone outside the proud Italian community calls it). I think it takes a big person to admit their weaknesses so it was really surprising when Juicy Joe did too.

Well done to the editors for very briefly leading the viewer into thinking Joe Guidice was once again having a questionable conversation when he slipped off to answer a phone call. You could literally see Teresa spot what was happening a mile off and that's why she ran towards him during it. They've been caught out like this before by the editors and they won't let it happen again. They've learned that to ditch any of the doubt they need to put the person on the other end of the phone on speaker to prove there's nothing suspicious about it. It turns out to be Milania. There have been many stories about the producer intervention on shows like this - Joe's phone call last year was apparently where editors cut and spliced his audio around to create a certain scenario. The Guidices didn't kick up a fuss or call them out on it because Teresa actually benefited from the stories being in the tabloids. But it's clear now that, for them, it wasn't worth it.

It's for this reason you can't really blame anyone in this group for being guarded - we can't really criticize any of them for not letting it down during the horse task when it's not only the other cast members they will be showing their vulnerability to, it's also the producers who can quite easily create a negative scenario around them on the show.

Meanwhile, back to the episode, and it's quite interesting that despite not being able to carry out the task herself, Teresa is encouraging Jacqueline throughout. Their burning ceremony was hopefully a good sign of things to come. I've missed the days when this pair would just hang out in each others houses and have bitching sessions over a glass of wine. That's one of the reasons I preferred the earlier seasons because despite all the crazy negative Danielle stuff, you also had a good balance of light-hearted scenes of a what you felt was a genuine friendship between this pair. I want to see them being silly together again - horsing around a cruise ship whilst drunk!

Next week's episode preview looks interesting. It seems as if Joe Gorga has another episode of ''roid-rage''!

So it looks like Melissa snubs Teresa in her speech next week, maybe Teresa will know how Kathy felt when she left her out of the toast. I do love Teresa and don't think she's done anything wrong but I don't like the way treats Kathy sometimes.

This. I love Tre but she treats Kathy like dirt at times and it really annoys me. I've really grown to like Kathy. I'm even starting to like Jac this season, a little bit, she's showing signs of the old Jac that I loved.

WHAT is the point of Eddie saying 'this is a private party, no cameras' when one of his guy friends wanted to take a picture of him and the stripper. There's a 8-guy camera crew there and it's gonna be on national TV.

Apart from that, the first episode of Tamra's OC Wedding was relatively boring. A bit of stripper-drama at the end, but that's it.

RHONJ filmed the reunion today! Can't believe season 5 is almost over, it's been a non-event thus far.

I loved it. No one really gives Miami a chance. The drama, the faboulisity, the wealth makes it on par of Beverly Hills.
In many ways, it is like a cross between OC, ATL, NJ, and BH.

I am enjoying it.

I like Camille, she was humiliated by Kelsey. When we saw him leave for NYC, he was leaving her and she had no idea. That made her more grounded. I like the way she confronted Taylor too.
I agree about Paul, he was too good for Adrienne, who is so false. She claims to care but it never looks genuine. And she is set up Lisa, to be picked on by the others. Lisa had made real progress with Taylor at that point. And she was close to Kyle too.

Whoopee. Bio are showing the first 2 series of NJ. Am I right in thinking it's the first time it's been on British TV?
Beats the 102 runs of BH S1 anyway.

And a whole new audience waiting to be exposed to the completely insane Danielle Staub.

Sorry Andrew, I know you like her, but she scares the living daylights out of me.

I believe Channel 4 aired the first 2 seasons a few years back - I remember they aired episodes at the ridiculous timeslot of 2am on a Sunday morning at one point!

Tally, how can you not love Danielle and her craziness? Claiming to have books written on her just because of a false arrest and a name change, getting people's children thrown out of events, claiming to be a hard gangster with an entourage of 'hard men' but then having an emotional/mental/physical breakdown when someone tugs your hair and not to mention stalking other wives in her car or having square tits! She is so crazy, you couldn't make this stuff up! I love it.


By the way guys, some bad news, it's being RUMOURED that at the reunion Teresa was either fired or quit RHONJ. Apparently her friend Heather (who's usually on the money) dropped a big hint about it while saying Teresa and Joe were sick of the bad edits. Someone commented something about her blog being in a different tone hinting something was up. I wonder of its true, Bravo weren't happy about the negative backlash from her case and it didn't bring in more viewers so it wouldn't surprise me if it was their choice either.


On to better news, Miami's ratings are up greatly on the previous two seasons. The past few episodes have had a third more ratings than their season 2 equivalent. It's still quite low, averaging ~1.3million, compared to others but its a good increase and well deserved!

The Guidices are in deep doo dah and Tre is facing a real threat of going to jail. Not something Bravo wants to associate itself with. Tax fraud seems to be just lightly less heinious than murder in the States, and the outcry of disgust at both of them has been immense on the American Boards.
My guess is she was given a vry large hint and jumped before she was pushed.

Just caught up with this weeks Miami. I have to say, so far I am loving it. It's much better than NJ Season 5. Glad to hear the ratings for this season of Miami have been increasing as they deserve to.
You would think that Joanna and Romain would be at it like rabbits, It does make you think if they are only doing it once a month, he must be getting it from somewhere else.
I can not warm to Alexia or Adriana, but I do like the other women particularly Lisa.

I like Miami far more than New Jersey this point. I don't get why they all seem to gang up on Lea Black. I'm glad Ana has gone because she was just vile toward Lea in last season's reunion. I have grown to really love Lisa, I think she's great. Joanna is entertaining, if a little crazy and it seems like she's learnt her lesson about drama and fights from season 2. Adrianna always puts doubts in my mind about whether she's telling the truth or not. It doesn't help that her husband creeps me out a bit. I think her friends are right in being a bit miffed that she lied to them about being married. I would be! I can't warm to Alexia either after the way she treated Karent last year. She has a real mean, bitchy streak but from the preview of next weeks show, it looks like she tells the girls off for being childish over this Lea situation. Hopefully that means she isn't all bad after all. Marysol harking on about Lea not contacting her regarding mama Elsa is just silly. Why would she contact you if you don't even give her the time of day?
