And to be honest, I can't stand Joyce's tagline. You can never be too thin? I know it is to be taken with a pinch of salt, but nevertheless this could potentially send out a wrong message to young girls out there.

I couldn't really care if Lisa gets the bad edit or trashed by Brandi. She didn't mind when it was happening to Adrienne last season, she even joined in a little. I really liked her during the first 2 seasons but last season she annoyed the hell out of me. She has a serious issue with letting things go - she just can't do it. Also, she needs to stop expecting people to back her up and get in the middle of her drama, she comes off, to me, like you're either with her or against her.

She's displaying a perfect example of 'if you lie down with the dogs, you wake up with fleas'.

I don't think she's the Teresa of BH. Atlanta could go on without Nene now, her popularity has took a serious dent while Kandi's has grown loads, Kenya is also drawing people in...even if it's just to watch her being a fool. Phaedra and Cynthia (god knows why) are also popular. Together they could last without Nene. The only other show I think would fail if someone left would be NY, if Ramona left.

Teresa is a special case of surviving and gaining popularity through the bad edit. Think of the others, Jill, Adriana, Gretchen, Lauri, Adrienne.

Also, last season Lisa's popularity dented. Just look at the comment sections on Radar Online, Allabouttrh, Stoopidhousewives, Daily Mail etc. these were, during S1+2, almost completely pro Lisa but now there's almost an equal amount of detractors. People, usually Lisa + Brandi fans, really overlook the popularity of Kyle. Although she has a lot of detractors she has a lot of support. Yolanda is also gaining quite a big following - probably the reason Brandi flitted to her side. I agree Lisa is the most popular, it's evident, but I certainly think the show can go on without her. Lisa needs to ditch Vanderpump Rules as well, it does her image no favours whatsoever.

Also, lets not forget that housewives viewers can be very fickle when it comes to supporting someone. Just look at all some fans turning on Brandi because she 'exposed' Lisa.

I hope Kim gains popularity this season, she was definitely underrated last season. She's great fun I think.


I agree. I can't stand Carltons either, money swears? Is that supposed to make her cool? I wonder if she's going for the Brandi tactic - swear like a sailor and act like trash. The only tagline I like is Kims. I don't mind Kyle or Lisa's either.


Another shady thing Lisa has been doing is hanging out with Joanna Krupa (Miami) and Mohammed fully knowing Joanna was the other women that Yolanda talks about - the one that ruined her marriage. Yolanda has made it very clear that she hasn't forgiven Joanna and is still very hurt by it, even though she is on good terms with Mohammed. It's just a bit suspect that she all of a sudden starts hanging around with her in public when she falls out with Yolanda. If they're friends for a long time and have about in public (pre BH Yolanda time) then I take it back but, if not, that's dirty.

I know a lot of names have been brought up already, but who would you say THE 'face' of each franchise is? For me, this would be my list:

I think these people are the 'face' but not necessarily that the show couldn't survive without them. Some that are the face aren't that much liked but just have been involved in loads of drama.

I don't think Lisa's popularity has waned at all. She was chosen as number 1 favourite housewife by Aussie viewers recently and always has far more positive comments than negative ones whenever I have read articles about her.
I do however think that there is going to be a backlash against her this season (which I also suspect will be her last). As much as I love Lisa, there must be something about her if everyone of her cast members apart from Carlton are against her.

Anyone know any site where I could watch RHONY season 4? I missed a few episodes this week and can't find them anywhere online.

I'm not disputing that she isn't very popular, she is and I acknowledged. I do think it's waned because she was almost on par with Teresa during season 2 but now Teresa has pulled way out ahead of everyone, including Lisa. (Except in Aus that is)

There must be. It can't always be everyone else's fault as someone want to believe. To me, she just seems very machiavellian.

If she does get the bad edit she's definitely leaving and that's why Bravo will be getting behind Kyle. She'll never leave and is the only one strong enough at the minute to 'lead' the show, other than Lisa.

Also, people that are saying she won't get a bad edit because she's friends with Andy, lets remember Kyle's BFF's with Bethenny and she has Andy wrapped around her finger. It wouldn't be the first time a housewives had the bad edit after getting into it with Bethenny - who has insinuated her dislike of Lisa a few times. (think Jill Z, Teresa)

What seems fishy to me is Gretchen having more than Vicki and Kyle having more than Lisa.

ITV2 are showing NJ from the start from 15th Nov, so my hopes for new OC have been dashed!

FINALLY New Jersey on ITV2, hopefully they'll show season 5 right away. This is bringing me through the winter - if they really show all five seasons, this is going to take atleast until February.

Watching RHONY season 4, Kelly is so much better than season 3. I like Cindy so far but I can see why they cut her. Never been fond of Luann and don't think I will be.

I don't think they have, at least that's what people on here were saying.

I'm so glad Teresa, Danielle and co. will finally reach a wider audience on ITV2.

Every episode is going to be cut to shreds though. It will probably end up with the 4-minute slot!

Luann is a nightmare, although I've not seen NY in that long I've nearly forgotten her!

Not a huge fan of Luann but she does come out with some corkers. "Go back to the cabinet you came out from" and "Darling, even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes". Funnily enough they were both said to Alex. There was one about her dress as well, when Sonja kicked Alex out she said something along the lines of "What was she wearing? Some bondage thing, I mean I would have kicked her out just for the dress". Not to mention her fabulous "what other dirty tricks do you have to pull out of your pinot filled ass?" to Ramona.

Cindy annoyed me, especially in Morocco when she freaked out over them all talking at once. I love how she gets under Sonja's skin..seriously though, I still can't believe Sonja mentioned a pecking order. Hilarious.

Another thing I picked up on re-watching the Morocco episodes. They acted like there was no cars and they only went on foot and camel, then Jill says to Cindy "what happened, I was getting my bag from the car". Love Jill.

Thank god for Atlanta. The first episode of Season 6 has restored my faith in the franchise. This is my absolute favourite housewives show and it did not disappoint.
Phaedra always comes out with some crackers, but 'Beauty Queen on bath salts' was one of my favourites. I think it's going to be a really good season.

I can't view the channel its still coming up at Bio... I am on Sky... suggestions?

I loved it! Some great one-liners already.

I enjoy the way Phaedra puts a sentence together. She sounds so calm and cool when throwing the shade. Nene, I don't need to say how great she is - reminding Kenya that ''Gone With The Wind Fabulous'' was last year!

Other amusing moments came with Kandi's hair in her interviews - it changed into a different style everytime we saw her! Then there was Cynthia - we're led to believe that The Bailey Agency has shut down which explains her tears and sadness... but oh no, it's just moving to another building.

Also, Nene mentions Teresa and Joe have sent her a wedding gift - is this the first time a Housewife has ever referenced a Housewife in another city before on these shows? (Reunions excluded)
