I'm finding this season of ATL a bit boring but I'm hoping that the trip to Savannah will bring it back to life.

However, RHOA was the most watched show on all of cable last Sunday so it must be doing something right... http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...d-more/221224/

This. It cried out for Jill Zarin. I wish she was back for S6 just to see Ramona's reaction.

“Sadly, I agree about BH. I feel like the Richards are checking out. There's just an odd aura around this season that makes me feel it's the last season and I don't why. It's still getting good ratings, they've been higher than the premier episode. Andy also said there is no plans to cancel it whatsoever.”

I am watching this season, I think this could be last season for the Richard Sisters and Vanderpump. After BHis gone for me.

Quote:
“OC - it varies for me. Each season has a good few episodes then a bad then some good again. It's not consistent at all. It would benefit from a shorter season no doubt.”

True. As long as Vicki is screeching or needs a love tank filling. I find it entertaining.

Quote:
“NJ - I'm over it. I can't even see the new housewives or Dullna Manzo bringing this back. Last season was unwatchable. The only bits I enjoyed where Joe Gorga getting his ass handed to him and Jac and Tre being friends.”

Last season, I found it repetitive and boring. It was the same old same old. Neve really bothered with it. Will watch s6.

“ATL - I'm loving this season. Except that the women are rarely ever together in a big group. I have a feeling that their personal storylines are going to be dragged out too long by the end of the season though.”

I find this season really boring. It needs Sheree back. She was hilarious. It needs to be a bit more, dare I say, ghetto.

RHOM and RHOBH to merge.

Well if this is true then wow.

was just about to post this

I think it would be good to see it and see how it works, but that would mean getting rid of some of the BH cast I can See Joyce and Carlton being dropped, maybe Lisa will leave after this season, Kyle and Kim may leave to but who knows what will happen.

But they will have to keep some of the original cast on otherwise people will turn of.

I think this rumour could be true because Andy does love Miami and i don't think he would want to lose them completely.

I would love to see the edit production how Miami's was on BH because i loved the editing style for Miami last season.

If this was to happen the Richards and Lisa would probably leave and the whole show would collapse and Bravo would be left with 2 failed shows and a seriously bruised ego.

If they both stayed, it might work...but who would leave? Yolanda? Joyce? Carlton?
But really, could you imagine Lisa and Lea going at it? I couldn't. I think Alexia may fit in well as a friend but not full time. I'm not sure why they would think about moving those 3 considering Adriana carries RHOM. Overall I think the Miami wives are too different from the Beverly Hills ladies and it wouldn't work because they wouldn't gell well at all.

Anyway, I stopped taking the article serious after it said Brandi has carried the show. Surely, they wouldn't be dumb enough for another casting massacre either, NY anyone?

I still want a Bravo all star season.
BH - Kyle & Kim
ATL - Nene & Kenya (or Kim Z)
OC - Vicki & Tamra
MIA - Adriana & Alexia (or Joanna/Ana)
NJ - Teresa & Melissa (or Jac)
NY - Ramona & Sonja (or Jill)
They could all go on a long holiday together or something. How amazing would that be?

This sounds like complete rubbish.

If your ratings are falling why would you bring in two members who couldn't bring the ratings in on their own show anyway?

The only one who could conceivably move across is Joanna who seems to be in that neck of the woods anyway and seems to have a lot of connections, feuds, friend, ex wife of man you might have slept with when he was still married. And to be honest I think this rumour has been created out of the flames of the Joanna/Brandi stuff.

Call me a cynic but this smacks of Brandi's publicity team making these rumours and leaking them. I mean Brandi is getting a lot of stick for racist comments and being a mean drunk followed by reports that this had no impact on the ratings. Suddenly there's a story about how she's the only one keeping the show alive and they've gotta bring in her arch enemy to replace the dead wood in the show. As I mentioned if someone says something enough the audience start to believe it's true and it's the audience Bravo listen to when renewing contracts. If Brandi is public enemy number one she's gotta make the audience believe she's still good for the ratings.

I actually think this issue over the falling ratings of BH compared to Season 2 is a bit pointless. With Season 2 there were two high profile stories going on that were headlining in both the national press and all other mainstream media, Camille's divorce and Russell's suicide. I think that probably did create a false expectations of the shows ratings should be in more normal circumstances.

Radar Online is kicking up a fuss about an OC producer trying to fake a scene with Simon Barney in Season 7. The scene was about Simon getting ice cream with the kids and then handing them
over to Tamra. Oh the drama!

http://radaronline.com/exclusives/20...ey-ex-husband/

Here's the 'exclusive' email: http://amradaronline.files.wordpress...rney-email.pdf

Is anyone really surprised? Even if they would have faked it, it's hardly a moving-the-storyline-forward scene. What a joke.

The proof is in the pudding a show based around women just going at it does not a good show make. Beverley Hills has no story lines at the moment other than 'bunch of women who hate each other'.

I mean look at Atlanta. What are have been the main story-lines the past couple of very successful seasons? Mama Joyce, Porsha's marriage and divorce, Kenya's fake boyfriend, Phaedra's booty video etc... the rivalries, arguments grow from these stories. They're the desert not the main course.

Beverley Hills has fallen into that New York, New Jersey trap where the rivalries are the storyline and that just gets tiresome.

They need to find some housewives willing to do more than have a bland rich husband in the background while they go to parties and argue. Currently not one Beverley Hills housewife has a real storyline. I mean even their scenes with the husbands are just them bitching about another wife.

It probably sound a bit crass but I'm looking forward to what's coming with Kim. It's weird and slightly sick I suppose that something so potentially heartbreaking and upsetting is what I want to see but the show needs right now is a genuine story with some proper pathos.

I don't think it is. If that was true a lot of housewives would have been long gone. Bravo keeps the ones that bring the drama and are willing to create drama and look an idiot doing it.

I'm not sure what the fuss is about. It's always been known that that production create a scene. i.e dinners, walks, handing kids over. It's what happens in the scene that's up to the women. (For example, play nice or fighting)

Exactly what I was thinking reading this article. The whole 'accusation' is just ridiculous, scenes are always planned as to when and where is filmed.

Well they keep the ones that bring the audiences and please the advertisers. That's often the one's that bring the drama... but on the flip side just because you bring the drama that doesn't necessarily bring the audience. Because it might not be the right or appealing kind of drama.

Bravo always listens to it's audience. Maybe not in the 'I like, I don't like' way but in a subconscious 'I will watch, won't watch way'

And that's the thing with Brandi... she's bringing the 'drama' (of the lots of fighting with others type) but is it ratings grabbing drama? Reports are suggesting no. Suddenly we're getting leaked story where the audiences are being told Brandi is THE only reason people watch. Say it enough and the audience believes it. So when it's time for contract renewal you've got these reports and the audience parroting them to aid your case.

I can't stop looking at her lips! Felt sorry for her daughters at the restaurant/diner. Did they need to be dragged into their mum's drama?

Danielle is pure crazy, but is sorely missed (by me) in NJ.

This weeks Beverly Hills was hard going, this franchise is in desperate need of some humour as I'm not sure how much more of it I can watch.
Brandi is a complete disgrace and I used to really enjoy watching her on the show, but she seriously needs to get some help.
The one thing that I love about Atlanta is that the girls can argue but it never seems toxic as there are always funny moments thrown in too. That said, this season is very poor so far, hope it picks up soon. I think they need some cast changes next season. For me Cynthia and Porscha can definitely go.

I agree completely. I do like Beverly Hills but the only one that seems to bring humour without it being wrapped in bitchiness is Kim. Sometimes Kyle and Joyce too. I was just over Brandi this week, what the hell was with the attack on Kyle? I was so glad that Lisa tried to shut her up. I was really liking Lisa this episode until she started taking digs in her TH - it was a shame I really started thinking maybe she wasn't all that bad. My heart broke for Kyle. I mean how sad - you know it takes a lot to make a tough girl like Kyle to completely break down and fall apart the way she did. I was happy to see Lisa and Yolanda comfort her. What the hell was with Lisa shutting the door on Kim's face and telling her to go away? Who died and made her god? I was glad Kim stood up to her and told her how she felt even though she could have done it away from Kyle. I was disappointed in Kim for not defending Kyle at the table as well because if the boot was on the other foot Kyle would have had her back (unlike earlier seasons). I'm unsure what made the second night more fun and warming to watch - the absence of Lisa & Yolanda or the absence of the alcohol.

BIB- totally in agreement here. I really liked Porsha last season but this season she is grating on me like no other. She has no storyline other than that she fell down the stars. Her divorce isn't really a storyline because nothings happening in it. Cynthia...I aint even sure how she's still there. This show has fallen flat without Kim Z. The only one I can be bothered watching is Kandi and at times, Kenya.

And this is for Nene. She can do this.

ATL - Im Over Porsha I find her voice annoying and all she ever goes on about is herself this girl could of had made something of herself with the whole divorce drama i mean she was on TMZ which is pretty big for a RH star yet she has done nothing. Her bashing Kordel is stupid I think she will have some lawsuits after this season is done. And I'm sorry but if you can afford to buy $3000 shoes then you can afford to move out!

Kenya last season she was on fire but I just find her singing rhymes and twerking boring now and those digs about the others weight was to much.

I feel for Kandy this season the pain she must be going through is sad to watch to fall out with her mother who she loves dearly is not on.

Beverly Hills….. This season is becoming nothing but a bitching playground I felt sorry for Kyle this episode Im not really a fan of hers but Brandi stepped over board. Im glad Yolanda and Kyle sorted things lets hope it lasts.

Im still not keen on Joyce though I know she is nice and all but i just feel she doesn't really bring much to the table.

Lea Black got it right a few weeks back when she said Joyce was the Karent Sierra of Beverly Hills. Although, I do think Joyce has a bit more fire in her than Karent.

I'm liking this season of BH more than last season, however, the additions of Joyce and Carlton are pretty poor. Both have brought nothing to show. I think Carlton has the potential to be a great housewife, I like her bitchiness when she talks in the interviews, however, IMO she doesn't really speak her mind when she's with the other ladies.

I think Joyce is too similar to Kyle and isn't needed. I can see both (Carlton & Joyce) leaving next season if they don't step it up.

A little OC update: Shannon Beador and Heather McDonald (I don't have a clue who either of them are) are replacing Gretchen and Alexis on Season 9. I hope those ladies bring it. If OC is a borefest I will be sorely disappointed.
