I'm with PrincessTT on giving Nene the axe. I'm over her narcissistic attitude. However, it's not going to happen because she is a draw for viewers and Andy loves her. Why do you want Mynique? We've seen one episode and in that she got walked all over by everyone, not exactly a good look. She could improve though so I'm holding out before definitely giving her the red card.
1) She has connections to 3 (or 4 if you count knowing Cynthia from NeNe's wedding) members of the cast already and I think adding someone who's already connected works better than bringing in someone completely new. 2) If we're stuck with NeNe then having her old friend around might provide her with more purpose than she currently has. 3) If she can learn to throw shade a bit more then there is the potential for a good rivalry with Kandi as she is definitely insecure about the Kandi/Chuck history thing. 4) The spelling of her name makes me laugh as it doesn't match up to pronunciation. 5) If we had Mynique then there'd be 1 member of the cast who is actually a housewife ![]() In about an hour though my opinion may have changed... Let me see how tonight's episode goes down before I firmly back Mynique for HoWife status. |

Ok...how's that working out for you? The likes of Porsha, the newbies on NY, Lydia on OC - hardly riveting entertainment.
I think Porsha, the newbies on New York and Lydia on OC have all been great additions... far more so than what their once also entertaining predecessors who left had become. Granted some more than other and some of their stories might not have work, but if that's the case then I'm for moving on, not stepping back. Personally I think Season 5 of New York while having a few problems was vastly more watchable than Season 4 (and about half of Season 3)and got better and better as the season progressed. As has been Season 5 & 6 of Atlanta over Season 4. In fact Seasons 4 of New York and Atlanta were some of the worst ever. Jill, Bethenney and to some extent Alex had ruined New York with all their backstage dealings, PR people and agents trying to control things. I find new housewives have that lack of awareness that allows you to get to see more of them before they start employing PR teams and that is why I find entertaining. |

I find new housewives have that lack of awareness that allows you to get to see more of them before they start employing PR teams and that is why I find entertaining. I don't agree with bringing all ex-housewives back. Some belong away from the show. However, the big housewives, like Kim Z, Sheree, Camille, Jill Z, Bethenny, Jeana, Lynne, Danielle etc. I would gladly welcome back. I think Season 5 of NY was a snooze fest. It wasn't interesting until Aviva went crazy. Not to mention the god awful reunion and the toaster over...THAT STILL ISN'T OUT! Again, I liked Heather & Carole but they held back too much and tried to act all proper. Not to mention the newbies never truly integrated with the previous cast which made it seem like two separate casts. Season 4 wasn't great when originally watching and it wasn't until I recently watched it back Netflix I realised how good the season was. I think sometimes you get so involved with picking sides of you fave that you forget to enjoy the season but when you watch it later and forget about sides and faves, it's more enjoyable. New housewives do not lack awareness. I'm sorry but they try too hard to come over all nice and proper and not get too involved in the drama (e.g. Heather, Carole, Karent, Lydia just to name a few). Kenya being the exception by creating a load of drama and fake boyfriends and whatever else. I think the older ones get more crazy because they are used to the camera being there and begin to forget about it. Then there's the NJ twins already threatening to quit and they've barely started filming which is ridiculous. I suppose it's just how you view it. But personally, I'd rather a previous well known housewive returned fresh and ready to go after a few seasons with the odd newbie rather than loads of newbies everyone other season. |

I can't believe yesterday's episode was YET ANOTHER Vanderpump Rules/RHOBH crossover. I have yet to watch it, but I'm pissed already.

Hope you don't mind me popping in.
Missed the first couple of new episodes of RHOBH....didn't realise it was now on Lifetime. What on earth did Brandi say about the Maloofs that Kim repeated to them at Mauricio's event? I'm in the dark. Thanks in advance.

Just seen the latest BH ep and i'm unsure as to why Carlton is even there, none of the women seem to interact with her. Can't see her lasting more than one season to be honest, which is a shame as I thought she would be good when I first heard of her.
Brandi keeps on making me dislike her more and more. I've done a complete U turn on her. She's just vile. Joyce I am liking more and more. Atlanta was more entertaining this week but I still say that there needs to be a cast shake up next season. Mynique or however you spell her name seems nice, but isn't housewife material from what I have seen so far. Not overly excited at the imminent return of Marlo either, but if she manages to shake it up a little then so be it. |

She said that Adrienne used a surrogate for her boy twins. After Adrienne and Paul got wind of this, they threatened to sue Bravo and therefore the remark was cut out and in subsequent episodes nobody talked about the remark itself, just about Brandi revealing it. Hope I could help
![]() ![]() Thanks for that.

Quite an allegation to make.
![]() Thanks for that. ![]() Brandi later claimed she only brought it up to point out how much Adrienne lied. Personally, I think it's absolutely crass to use someone's children (and in the very sensitive nature of the lie itself) to make your silly little point. The Maloofs handled it really badly though. Barging in with lawyers and trying to overpower everyone with money was never going to work. It was a fruitless effort considering the revelation was reported in the media anyway. Moving on to this week's Beverly Hills - I do find it hilariously bizarre how Carlton can squirm when Kyle mentions Lisa's nipples, but doesn't mind talking about sex toys and grinding up against her own mother-in-law in a bikini! It just shows she's either extremely hypocritical or she just felt like having an irrational dislike for Kyle straightaway for no real or valid reason. It was nice to see Kim do something fun this week at the race track. Something that didn't revolve around her sister or something to do with her recovery. Mind you, we still got plenty of that kind of stuff with her dog. The dinner at Sur and Lisa's desperate attempt to reconcile Brandi and Joyce - what a farce. Almost everytime Brandi has been vile to Joyce, she's either drunk or just being idiotic. Once again, I find it funny how Joyce does very little yet manages to get under Brandi's skin so much. She really is the Karent of Beverly Hills. |

RHOBH was great this week. I was completely wrong about Joyce, she's starting to become very interesting and becoming her own. I agree about Carlton, she's brought nothing to show. |

Brandi is a total piece of trash, while she brings entertainment to the show I can't stand her on any level. Even in Sur she has issues with Scheana, is there anywhere this women doesn't have some beef with someone. Also her flirting with Jax at the bar was pathetic although given his rep it wouldn't surprise me if they got a little something something at some point.
Whatever trailer park she came out of he needs to go back to. Everything about her is horrible. Did love the staff commentary on VR regarding those overly pretentious orders, Lisa looked peed off on RHOBH too.

That was based around an accusation that turned out to be a lie. The only legal action the Maloof's took was to send a letter to Adrienne's ex business partner and lawyer who was feeding the information. This wasn't trying to overpower anyone with money, it was asking said person to not expose further personal information learned through their professional dealings. That is a perfectly reasonable course of action. And Bravo naturally couldn't air it because if this information had come because of a breach professional confidentiality they would get in big trouble. Brandi then made up this complete fantasy that the Maloofs were suing her. The Maloof's mistake was to quit the show the day after the big bust up when they found out what Brandi had been saying. Bravo however forced Adrienne to eventually come back and complete her contract but the show never really forgave her I don't think. |

While they were filming the reports only ever definitely confirmed Joyce as a full time housewife where there were differing reports about Carlton's status. I'm wondering if this episode was around the time the show wasn't sure if Carlton would be full time or just be a friend of. |

Carlton thought an instant dislike to Kyle would make her popular and gain her allies on the show but now she is stuck in no mans land and unlike Kim she isn't established enough to be having her own storylines independent of the others.

I enjoy Kims scene's with her dog. It's a lot better than watching the 'dream team' sit around bitching about everyone and their dog.

Yeah I like that dog storyline actually. Its a nice break from the rest of the messy Dream Team or Carlton's sex shopping.

Hi Guys, Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
I've been MIA for a bit, been so busy, Christmas and New Year has played havoc with my Housewives viewing! ![]() I've been playing catch up and just thought Id give my thoughts. I'm still enjoying Atlanta, I do think this season has been a bit up and down so far though, but I enjoyed the trip to Savannah. This new girl Mynique (with a My instead of a Mo - you gotta love Phaedra) has to up her game. She got seriously checked by pretty much every one of them! Although I did love the little scene with Cynthia teaching her how to "read", and recognise when "shade is being thrown" all this should preferably be done whilst rocking a fabulous blow dry and a great set of lashes! That's why I love Cynthia, its a motto I subscribe to, everything is better when your equipped with a blowout and your lashes! ![]() I'm not sure what to make of the imminent return of Marlo Hampton. I couldn't stand the woman before (and she was unbelievable on Nene's wedding show) but it might be entertaining for her to come in and shake things up a bit. She's such a fameho that she's going to be seriously mugging for camera time. Kenya is still cray-cray but maybe a bit underwhelming so far. The problem is none of the other women particularly like her so its not very easy to include her. Porsha, well, I thought her divorce would be the making of her, but she really doesn't bring that much to the show. I do like her, but she isn't exactly thrilling to watch. She needs to get out there and start living her life. Onto Beverly Hills, well my opinions on some of these ladies have totally changed. I'm not at all sold on Carlton anymore, I cant work her out. At first I found her irrational dislike of Kyle sort of amusing, but now I just don't get her. she's a TOTAL hypocrite, Kyle only has to say something and she gets this look of utter contempt on her face, yet in the next scene she's happy to be shown snogging Brandi/designing a sex dungeon/or giving her MIL a lap dance I mean, really?! Joyce I'm really quite enjoying now- she's an interesting one isn't she? She doesn't need to do much, yet she massively gets under peoples skin. Esp Brandi. I think she will be great at the reunion, I can totally see her slaying Brandi, and possibly Yolanda too. I don't like her hubby at all though, he's so utterly irritating and I do wish she would quit with all the "my baby" stuff. Brandi- well, I still enjoy watching her, but Ill admit, I'm massively going off her. She hasn't presented herself well at all. She's been horrendous to Joyce, for seemingly no reason, and I just wish she would shut up and grow up sometimes. Lisa I still love. I love watching her, and also Yo, I may be in the minority here but I just really like her. The thing at her dinner party was ridiculous though, with some ladies having hearts and others not, it was a bit shady I guess, but whatever lol Kyle, I'm still not really a fan, but I couldn't really imagine the show without her and she is kind of growing on me this season. As for Kim, I really do like her. I find the whole thing with her dog sweet, but also kind of scary. I worry for her lol Its a big dog and she clearly cant control it, but at least its off getting trained I suppose. She seems to be away in lala land half the time, but maybe that's no bad thing, the rest of the women are such a hot mess, I'm sure she's happier in her own world! |

Finally caught up with ATL, I'm really struggling to understand why this is top rated RH show and why it gets such good ratings. NJ and BH are much better, IMO.
Is anyone else just waiting for that huge fight? |
