If it comes down to between Kyle and Lisa to go, then Lisa should go. In the entire 4 seasons she has never properly made up with someone and let their disagreements go. She carries far too many grudges and passive aggressiveness. I think that's not a good trait on a reality show because in order to keep the show going an the dynamics changing you really have to be able to forgive and move on.
She can go off to VR which I don't care for. Next season it should be: Carlton - out Lisa - out Yolanda - friend 2 other friends to stir crap up (like Atlanta) Kyle - in Brandi - in Kim - in Joyce - in 2 new housewives. (Possibly Denise Richards or Pamela Anderson? - I think we need someone with a semi-well known name or the wife on a lister) I would like a few appearances from Adrienne and Camille too. It kind of shows the fans that their dark storylines are over and that everyone's moved on - I think that will eliminate the bitterness from some fans that still aren't over it. |

It would be a miracle if Carlton was back and I also can't see Yolanda returning. I think it is likely that Carlton will not be asked back, Lisa and Yolanda will leave and Kim will be demoted to friend of the housewives. I would like to see Camille back, but doubt she would. Regardless of who stays and goes, there has to be a huge shake up, as it has really fallen flat this year. |

I read last year that Lisa Rinna who is married to Harry Hamlin and was in Melrose Place auditioned to be on the show but obviously didn't get it. While she isn't exactly A list she does already have a name (in the States anyway) and I like her, she seems quite funny.

That's obvious from her recent attempt to rehab her image- a la camille season 2. I agree but It needs more than a cast shake up. It needs a producer shakeup too. That happened on RHONY and the trailer looks 1000 times better than last season. I think bravo would can Lisa now they have her on another show. Let's face it, she's a bit of a spare part this season and really don't care to hear her say how busy she is over and over. |

Every season since she's been rumoured to be joining the show despite her denials. I think it's because she had said that had Harry Loves Lisa not been there she would have done it back then and teases people when these rumours crop up. |

Just watched OC finale for Season 8 - UP YOURS SLADE!
Wish Brianna would kick that VILE husband of hers to the curb! What a horrible, aggressive man! The way he treated Vicki and Lydia's mom was disgusting. Can't believe half the cast is gone for Season 9! Glad Vicki + Tamra are staying though, love 'em! Don't think they'll ever go!! ![]()

I have just watched the OC finale too, and had to come on here to vent. Grr, I think Briana has just lost the moral high ground when it comes to telling her mum not to hang about with unsuitable men. I liked Briana up until this series, but she has come across as bratty. I saw a bit of that last season when Vicki introduced her to Brookes and she kept whispering to Ryan rather than talking to him, but now.. well. Ryan is a horrible controlling man, and even if we make allowances for him being under stress due to his imminent posting, he is true colours were shown before and just came out more at the party.
The thing that really annoyed me with Briana though is that she followed Ryan's lead about repeating the whole "you should stick up for your family first" "you should show respect", yet she did neither for poor Vicki. Both Ryan and Briana were seen talking to Slade and Gretchen and feeding them info. I would never talk to a man who had insulted my mother let alone give him and his awful girlfriend the ammo they need to hurt her again. Yes I am glad Slade and Gretchen are out; their scenes were boring and self indulgent, and they did not even fall in to the "so bad they are good" category. I too am glad that Vicki and Tamra are still in it. Woohoo to Series 9.

After this episode, Carlton is now my least favourite housewife EVER. This whole spell thing is just ridiculous. Her party was just vulgar and completely over the top.
And this also is now my least favourite BH season ever. Looking forward to next week's episode though, Beverly hills darling, chi-chi-chi returns! |

I read that S5 of NYC was quite boring... BUT I'm loving it
The drama is so good and Sonja grows on me more and more she just cracks me up i love it when she's drunk and falling over the place and her and Ramona make a great pair. Carole is really nice and sweet she reminds me of Mary from Vancouver.Heather has kind of grown on me to but her smile DEAR God its creepy lol and what it with Luann cheating I saw a video from Alex Mccrord on youtube and she reviews NYC and she set Luann properly did it on purpose cause she is desperate for a storyline and i have to agree but I think she DID sleep with that french guy her body language was giving it away as for Aviva i dont know what to say really she's good for drama but she is all me me me.

Gosh I saw this today and wanted to see if anyone felt disgusted by Ryan's vile treatment of the 64 year old lady. I have never seen such venom, he was going to hit her..why did he not take Slade to task if he was the man of the house". Thank goodness for Vicky's brother Billy who took him to task. I am worried for Briana.. she was defending him. I hope Ryan gets his come comeuppance, perhaps his comrades in the army will teach him.

Oh I am so glad I can vent on here and others feel the same. Vicki is a tough business lady who goes off on one when she feels aggrieved, but she is also very sensitive and I get the feeling that she is scared to stand up to Ryan through fear of him refusing to let her see Troy if she does. Shame on Briana though, she should give her mum more respect and understand now what it is like to be stuck in the middle when your man is acting badly. |

I've just caught the big fight. I don't quite see it like most.
While I think Nene and Christopher were stirring the pot, Kenya and Brendan were totally the ones who wanted it to become a more aggressive fight and reacted as such. That Brandon totally was the aggressor. There was nothing aggressive about the way that Christopher walked in front of Kenya very barely touching her arm to prevent her getting in Natalie's face. Then Kenya and Brandan are up in his face screaming rape and blue murder and Brandon is then swinging and trying to charge. I do think it was unnecessary for Apollo to get involved and push Brandon back so hard and then get so out of control. However I feel little sympathy for Brandon, if you're going to act a violent thug then when a bigger, badder violent thug knocks you down that's tough luck. |

Umm - could I raise this question though? Aren't couples, when they marry, supposed to leave parents and cleave to one another in terms of primary allegiance?
So I saw it as BOTH sides squaring off. Strictly speaking, Briana's primary allegiance should be towards Ryan, rather than siding against him with Vicki. Vicki's mum, from what I heard, had used the kind of toe of voice towards Ryan which DID imply the "Who the F are you to tell me what to do?!" form that Ryan repeated. Rather than attacking it along Team Woman lines, with the subtext that Men Are Always Wrong, it would have been better to get them ALL around the kitchen table, and discuss it openly, which would have enabled the air to be cleared and damage to be repaired. Ryan was stressed out about his upcoming deployment - and there were cultural differences between his and Briana's upbringing. Also - had Vicki's mum met Ryan before? If not - how were either of them to know? To him, she was Another Anonymous Guest, and was (in his mind) disrespecting his mother-in-law's home; if he hadn't been introduced to her, how was he to know apart from her own claim that she was his gran-in-law? In my family, my dad's mum (nan) tried this kind of Covert Contract "i can control you" shit on Mum - never got anywhere. Thankfully. The family dynamics in Vicki's family are actually rather unhealthy - actually unhealthy in a lot of them. The men HAVE got legitimate constructive complaints.. but they get missed in the infighting among the women. For example - slagging off a man's character can wound VERY deeply... and expecting him to just shrug that off and internalise it all the time when his wife is being a shrew does nothing for that marriage. Shows the wife to be immature. Just my few pence. |

As for the incident itself, I think sitting down or any sort of calm discussion would have been preferable to the shouting and hysteria, but this is the RHOC, and it would not have been a finale party without hysteria. I have to say though that Ryan's demeanour (along with Lydia's) did not lend itself to calm discussion. Although I can understand Ryan's state of mind, to me he was out of order and both the tone and content of what he said then and what he has said on earlier occasions suggests that Briana has something to worry about. |

I didn't think he grabbed her arm too hard either. He was gently protecting his wife/girlfriend/whatever she is. I would expect my man to protect me in that way too.
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=mjocwy&s=5#.Uu1d8_l_uSo To be fair it was quite forceful and given Christopher's history of violence towards women I can see why her (and Brandon) reacted as they did. |

I love the RHW but I wish one UK channel would buy the rights for all of the RHW franchises.
It would make it so much easier to keep up with the shows Preferably it would be ITV 2. |

Seriously cannot stand Vicki, she is a controlling cow. What Gretchen said about "it being o.k for you but not for anyone else" is so true as far as she is concerned.
And for gods sake stop screaming like a toddler woman! I feel sorry for her daughter and glad she is moving out now, she needs to put her child and husband first instead of being there to keep her mum company. The incident on the sofa just showed she cares more about how her friends see her than anything else. her family are not allowed to wear shoes in the house "everyone has to take their shoes off" so if it was me and I found a stranger lying on my mum in laws expensive sofa with her dirty shoes on I'd tell her to take them off. 64yrs old isn't "old" these days. It's not like the woman had a dodgy hip or was infirm, she is was o.k to wear towering heels then old isn't a word I would use for her. If she wanted to lie down then she should have removed her shoes in someone elses houses. Also telling was lollipop head mums saying "I only had one drink" implying to me that mummy may like her booze a lot so might have been a bit pissed. |

As much as I hate to defend Kenya, someone on another forum posted this screencap of the grab...
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=mjocwy&s=5#.Uu1d8_l_uSo To be fair it was quite forceful and given Christopher's history of violence towards women I can see why her (and Brandon) reacted as they did. She was walking over to get in Natalie's face and he reacted defensive saying 'no no no' and walked in front of her lightly grabbing her arm (naturally with some force but certainly not aggressive). He was no more aggressive (less so in fact) than when Andy Cohen has had to stop women getting in the faces of other women at the reunions. The whole 'Christopher and his violent history' stuff is crap. If they were so concerned about that why were they both up in his face screaming and why was Brandon trying to fight Christopher instead of pulling poor innocent in danger Kenya (who was just as much in his face and certainly didn't look scared one bit) away from a violent man. Why were they acting far more aggressive than he? Kenya and Brandon are the worse kind of people who think they can throw their weight about as they please but then play the victim when people try to stop them. I'm from the Judge Judy school of having zero sympathy when a bigger badder bully comes along and knocks them down. |

The difference is I've seen the video so don't need screengrabs where one can be easily taken at the right moment to create a false perspective.

Nothing that went on between Christopher, Natalie, Kenya & Brandon in that room can justify Peter holding Brandon down while Apollo beat the crap out of him IMO. |

I'm about to begin with Vanderpump Rules - what do you think, should I begin with Season 1 or start right away with Season 2? I've heard that Season 1 is a little bit boring, so need your advice on that one

I'm just catching up with the finale of OC. I agree with previous posts, Vicki is scared to lose Briana and Troy so has to bite her tongue with Ryan. I heard they're expecting another child so I doubt the situation has got much better...
And opinions of the pair of them aside, I loved Gretchen's proposal! Totally ott, fabulous! |

Newish to the the board, glad to see RH thread, there is just something the franchise that keeps me watching. Quote:

I am not Vicki's biggest fan as I do find her very hypocritical as it seem to be one rule for her and another for the other girls but I did feel for her during the party. It seems its another boy - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...-baby-boy.html ITA abut the proposal, it was totally OTT and yet so Gretchen. I was not sure what to make of Laurie (SP?) this season. I liked lydia she seem like light relief with what was going on woth the others. It will be interesting just who does come back and who doesnt, we know that some of them have not be asked back BUT until they wrap filming I will take it with a pinch of salt. Alexis left before filming of last season but was back, and in BH Camilla left at the end of Season 2 she was back as a "friend" of the housewives and in it quite often. The hardest one I found to get into to Miami. Didnt enjoy the 1st season very much but I thought the second was a lot better. |
