LOL at Miss Lawrence's impression of Gregg, that was the highlight of the show. I wish Marlo was on the trip - I think Nene would have rather hanged with that big ass snake though. And where is the divine Lexis?

Kudos to Kandi for standing up for Porsha when Peter and Kenya were going in on her. You can tell it threw Kenya off guard from the way she shut Kandi down by changing the conversation. Kenya clearly doesn't want any of Kandi, which is wise considering she's the only one who doesn't dislike her, that much anyway.

I'm not entirely convinced that Peter wanted to say those things or bring it up, it seemed very producer invoked. I think Peter looked very uncomfortable during the conversation, especially his facial expressions and the way he slouched right back into his chair...meanwhile Kenya was lapping it up.

It doesn't seem like Cynthia is coming back, she hinted largely in a magazine(?) interview that she was being replaced.

Phaedra was quite funny tonight, especially, her quip about Porsha doing the history exam.

I actually liked the break we had now. Mainly because this episode was a huge change in direction and pace compared to the rest of the season - which has relied heavily on outside influence. After this episode and the preview from next I think things are about to get very, very heated.”

I'm wondering if Kandi's line about being the only person who hasn't had a major argument with Kenya was a bit of foreshadowing... Maybe those 2 are going to really get into it.

I agree about Peter... The whole Peter/Kordell meeting, the fact that Porsha didn't have a +1 to back up her version of event, the body language it all just came across as producer driven.

Cynthia is my favourite housewife to look at from all of the franchises, she is the most stunningly beautiful woman, but all her messiness and stirring the pot means that I can do without her on the show next season. At this point I'd rather keep Porsha than Cynthia.

I don't think Cynthia was talking about leaving or being replaced. The interview was more about that it will inevitably happen... be it Cynthia being replaced or the Housewives franchise as a whole.

To be honest I can see her being there till the bitter end. She is the glue that keeps these bunch of random women who barely have anything to do with one another together. Although she might not be the most drama fueled wife I think her reliability and the fact she is very focused towards the 'team' as opposed to just herself is a huge contributing factor as to why Atlanta is the most successful franchise.

RHOC SEASON 9 TRAILER

Well I don't have sympathy for Porsha she used the show to bash Kordell non-stop now he gets a chance to respond and suddenly she doesn't want anyone else's opinion about her marriage when she had no issue bashing Kordell to these people left, right and centre a while back. Now she is exposed for probably exaggerating if not lying about various circumstances and she acts like a child and of course Kandi jumps in to back her up.

Kandi clearly doesn't want to be on the trip, because she has her lame musical and she hates Kenya because her Siamese twin Phaedra does. Kenya never did a single thing to Kandi and defended her against that Natalie Fake Wife woman but she is always rolling her eyes and sighing about Kenya cause of some stupid Kenya-Phaedra drama.

RHOC SEASON 9 TRAILER”

Yes they have finished, Tamra posted it to Facebook a few days ago. I need to get my ass to my laptop now to watch that trailer, but I'm so happy this is coming back in a month!

Edit: Just . The Vicki/Brooks/Brianna storyline is still there, but there are also a few new ones. Really, everyone seems to gang up on Heather these days. The Bali trip looks fun. Props to the editing team, this was only two weeks ago, they are editing this show fast!

Really enjoyed reading that - thanks

What amazes me with all the HW shows is how they drive whilst using their phones in their hands. Surely all their tarty cars have bluetooth/hands free - my blooming Peugeot does!

Sassygirl - On a separate note, does Tally still post here? I always used to enjoy reading hers/your views and she very kindly sent me some HW shows once.

Regarding the BH finale:

I wont say much because I can't be bothered and rattle on far too much here. LOL.

I was really starting to like Lisa again when she was talking to Kyle, I genuinely thought she was finally going to apologise so they could move on but that never happened. Lisa ran away, again. I hated how she had her hand on Kyle the whole time, how patronising and passive aggressive. I may not like Yolanda but she was spot on when she said that Lisa and Ken think they're above everyone - loved the Beyonce reference as well.

I loved the fun scenes from last night!

I don't care for Brandi and Lisa's BS because they're both two peas in a pod. They are just as bad as each other. I was glad Brandi shut down Lisas victim act, it really bothers me when she always tries to turn it round to her feelings and doesn't let anyone express theirs.

Carlton was as bad as always.

Ken was just an arrogant old fool last night. His insults were just classless. He's definitely giving Peter & Joe Gorga a run for their money in the housewives wannabee race.

Kudos to Kim for apologising. The way Ken and Lisa just ignored her was rude and pretty much showed her case for being annoyed to be true.

Where was the checkmate comment?

Loved the reunion preview/crossover. Anyway, I'm away to watch the OC trailer! and looking forward to the beginning of NY tonight!

Next week looks like an anti-Lisa/Joyce episode with Yolanda sticking her oar in everywhere its not wanted. I mean I get why Kyle and Brandi might be annoyed with Lisa and Lisa is handling the situation all wrong but why on earth is Yolanda getting involved, cause Lisa didn't paint some stupid square for Gigi, I doubt Gigi even wants Lisa painting.

Now next week Yolanda is attacking Joyce and Lisa. Yet again none of her business.

Glad Carlton realised its likely her only reunion given how hated she is by most viewers. Bravo had better fire her ass before next season. Sad to hear the Joyce rumours though, she is actually likable but I guess after the Brandi drama hasn't had much of a story since.

Ken really annoys me the way he dismissed Kim when she apologised but I get why Yolanda is annoying him, she interrupted him and Maurico but when Ken comes over to Lisa, Yolanda is outraged that Ken is moving in on the conversation. Hypocrite much.

Yay, Beverly Hills is finally over. If there are not major cast changes next season I wont be watching, as I have a feeling they are gonna try to drag this crap out like they did with New Jersey.
I was so annoyed at Yolanda trying to make out that Ken was attacking her, talk about an overreaction. I wasn't a fan of hers last season and i'm certainly no fan of hers now. I do agree that the men should stay out of the drama as i'm sick of Peter, Ken and the rest getting into it but I can totally understand a man wanting to defend their wife, what man wouldn't?
Brandi's comment to Ken saying 'At least David works' was unbelievable. I don't think you get where Lisa and Ken are today by being lazy. She is so deluded. Then we see the reunion preview where she is saying she loves that little man. Eeuuchh, I can't with her anymore.
I hope Lisa and Kyle can repair their friendship as I do think it was genuine, but I really do think Lisa wont come back next season.
I agree Andrew, where was the 'checkmate bitch' comment? I have been waiting all season for it. I assume it will be shown in the Secrets Revealed episode.
So looking forward to getting in from work tomorrow and watching RHONY. I have really high hopes.

I did LOL when Carlton said that. At least now we know she isn't completely delusional. She may come back and do a Camille, who knows.

I really, really like Joyce but she has been flip-flopping in the blogs to the point where it appears like her, Lisa & Carlton are trying to from another dream team which I doubt the producers want. I know most of the viewers don't either. I don't really see the point of Lisa next season either if she refuses to even have a conversation. To be on the show, you have to be able to stand through a confrontation, even if it is uncomfortable.

I totally agree with the last part. I get why Ken gets annoyed but I also get why Yo gets annoyed at Ken - even I get annoyed at him continuously butting in the women's talks.

When Mo and Ken were talking Lisa walked up first and then Yo, which was wrong as it was Kyle's place to join Mo, so I won't hold Yo 100% responsible for ruining that conversation. Kudos to Mo for taking Ken away from the group to resolve it.

Why was everyone saying David wasn't there, he was:

Loved the OC trailer, was expecting more drama between the women though. I can't wait to see the last scene!

That finale of BH was good but not as good as previous ones, The whole ganging up on Lisa was just so annoying to watch. Yolanda is just a bitch pure and simple she likes to stick her nose in where its not wanted...noticed how she has become more vocal though the way she was going on at Ken was stupid she interrupted the conversation and she expects to have things her way...no way.

Brandi is just trash and i still cant believe i liked her in S2 and 3 her saying 'Yolanda's husband actually works' was such a nasty comment to make. The way i see it now is I think Yolanda has had alot to do with this whole Brandi vs Lisa situation to me it seems like Yolanda has been planting seeds of doubt in her head and Brandi had fallen for it, Yolanda comes across as very bitter and selfish person I think she is Jealous of everything Lisa has.. A happy LONG Marriage, successful busineses and is popular on the show.

Also on some blogs some people are saying that David is doing a Kelsey and letting Yo have the show so he can divorce her! If you look at her behaviour to this season its been full on hate almost like she is taking her anger out on Lisa because maybe she knows her marriage is on the rocks.

I was also wondering where the 'check mate' comment went... i mean they showed it in the trailer so why edit it out?

I did love how Bravo showed the sneak peak of the reunion at the end i think it really has built up the final part really well and it looks like we will be getting more behind scenes footage like Miami

Cant wait for NY tomorrow either! I just hope the season does well for Bravo cause it will be a shame to lose NY.

Haven't had a chance to watch Beverly Hills yet, but I can already tell I'm going to dislike Yo, and Brandi even more
I'm so glad BH is finally over though. This season has been pretty much a non-starter. I'm dreading next season without some big cast changes. I don't want all this dragging on for seasons.... It seems pretty certain the way the Reunion is going to go, and I can totally see Lisa walking at the end of this season. I hope she doesn't, but I wouldn't blame her.

I'm so looking forward to The OC coming back, the trailer looks good and I'm looking forward to the Bali trip and seeing what these new ladies are all about.

So, so excited for NYC though Its been so long since we have had anything from these women. I cant wit to watch. I agree with DEADLY, really hope this season does well in the ratings, it be a shame if this was their last season. I'm so looing forward to the new season.

I'm just dying to find out what the deal is with Aviva's leg laying on the floor! I have visions of her pulling it off and chucking it at someone during an argument!

I'm so excited RHONY is back tonight. So excited that I may just have to TAKE A XANAX and CAAAAAALM DOOOWWWWN!!

Radar Online released a story the other day from an 'insider' saying Brandi, Lisa, Kyle & Kim had all began contract negotiations and Bravo definitely want them back. Carlton and Joyce have not been offered anything and it alluded that their fate rests in the hand of new cast members. Yolanda wasn't mentioned. Neither was the return of Camille which I can see happening - why else would she have been on WWHL & Bethenny during this season of Beverly Hills? To me it looks the Bravo's PR wanted her name out there to drum up some hype.

I still think the line-up would be good with Brandi, Kyle, Kim, Joyce, Camille & either the Baroness, Taylor or someone new that will mix well with the cast. We need someone funny, with a bit of sass. Lisa & Yolanda could be 'friends' and Adrienne making a few cameo's or even better, hosting a lavish party. I'm struggling on Carlton, do we get rid of her or not? She could turn it around like Camille did but then the Kyle bs is still there. I want a Faye return as a 'friend' too.

Radar Online are usually correct about the Beverly Hills cast. They leaked Carlton & Joyce coming on, Camille being demoted, then her and Adrienne leaving altogether, Taylor being phased out and her barely filming for this season. In fact, the only time I remember them getting it wrong was with the Baroness...and Lisa Rinna but she was the one who started the rumors.

Lisa and Ken aren't in that picture, they may have been gone before David arrived, if he came late or something. Although it almost looks like that was a daytime picture, maybe its the lighting.

So RHONY's back! Hopefully the long gap in between seasons will benefit the show. One thing I will say though - this show is still missing Jill Zarin terribly. Like her or loathe her she was a major part in its success. Having said that, the ''new'' housewives seemed to have really settled into things more this time around. Heather and Carole seem far more comfortable and at ease with the entire process. Aviva, however, is far more obvious in her attempts to stay relevant or stay in the game. For someone who lost her mother due to her severe alcoholism and even called Ramona out for having, what she perceived, an alcohol problem last season, Aviva abandons all her guns and actually downs shots and Pinot Grigio in order to make amends. On one hand, I find her so eye-rollingly irritating but on the other I actually find her endearing in a weird way. She just seems like a very insecure person who has this strong desire to be liked... (But I'm aware my opinion could completely change by the end of episode 2!)

I do find it odd how Carole took Ramona's side after what happened at her book event at the end of last season. Apparently Carole found Aviva's behaviour at the party to be the problem. Yet it was Aviva who overheard Ramona bitching about her and confronted her - where Ramona does what she always does, screams in your face, walks around like a mad woman, eyes popping and then walks away like SHE'S the one who just got attacked out of the blue!

As for Kristen, she seems harmless and nice... but she got this gig through her connections with Brandi from Beverly Hills so who knows?! Her reaction to lunching with Ramonja was funny. But just who was that woman with the weird hat who chimed in occasionally to tell Ramona to meditate and to ''look into her soul''? The most bizarre thing about that was that nobody even had a reaction to it.

Loved the first episode of NYC. I totally agree with you on JIll Zarin Bumblesquat, like her or loathe her, she WAS NYC housewives for me but I can't see Bravo ever having her back.
The new girl Kristen, i'm on the fence with, her tagline is still annoying to me and she seems nice enough but a bit bland.
Sonja as always cracks me up. The dead dog on the sideboard, the other dog eating the jam off the table, the interns. How can she afford interns when her house is falling down? And what was that woman with the hat going on about? Who is Netty? It was all so bonkers but in the best possible way.
I never got the hate for Aviva, would I want to be her friend? Possibly not, but did she bring the drama last season and does it look like she will do the same again? Absolutely. Although the way she was kissing Ramona's bum was ridiculous, I do like watching her. I really hope the ratings are better this time around, as it would be a shame for this to be the last ever season of NYC.

RHONY last night...was just weird. Plain weird. I don't know why but it just felt strange. It didn't really flow well either. I felt a lot of the scenes were rushed. I hope it's one of those boring 'laying the foundation' episodes to set up for something bigger because if it's an indicator as to how the season will go they may as well give up now. I did LOL at Heather winding up the photographer though. The new housewive I'm unsure about, she seems alright except for the scene with her husband and the earrings.

I agree with BumbleSquat about Jill Zarin. She was the RHONY queen. It's a shame she seems to be over the show and has accepted the fact she's gone now. I missed LuAnn last night as well. Ramona isn't strong enough to hold the show together and LuAnn was the original that tied the new and old cast together. The relationships all seemed fake last night, other than Heathers and Caroles. I'll still give it a few more episodes.

Aviva is the Kenya of NY.

Totally agree about Luann, she was missed. I think she's only missing for the first 3 episodes though.

NYC is back Really enjoyed the first ep. I think its going to be a great season. Maybe its because I'm so over BH, but I've really missed these ladies.

I actually missed Luann a little as well but she will only be absent for 3 eps so I read, she was still negotiating her contract when they started filming, she wanted a pay rise.....Bravo didn't! lol

I'm still not sold on the new taglines, they are either fabulously tongue in cheek, or totally cringey.....but its different!

I think Aviva is going to be the main attraction this season. I liked her at the start last season, then I went totally off her, and I still cant quite decide on her, but its only ep 1. But she brings drama for sure, and looks like that will continue this season. I thought Ramona's face was a picture when Aviva called to invite her out for a drink! I agree with BumbleSquat I think she's just quite insecure really, and wants to be liked.

Ooh Sonja.....there's something about her I like watching, but I just totally cringe for her as well, that rambling falling down around her ears house, the interns?! (Why, and what do they do?!), the dead dog. I feel bad for her! I think Sonja is a woman who used to live a fabulous life and just does not get that is not the situation anymore. She's like Miss Havisham meets Grey Gardens. But she makes me laugh, and that tea party with her, Ramona and the new girl Kristen was batsh*t! Plus the crazy woman calling Ramona netty?! Madness!

I rally like Carole and Heather, they do seem much more at ease with it all this time around which is good. They are both fun to watch, and I think Carole will be good value this season.

The new girl Kristen....she seems nice so far, I'm a bit indifferent to her so far, but we don't really know her yet. I think that tea party with Sonja/Ramona traumatised her! I actually quite liked that scene with her hubby I thought there was something strangely refreshing about it!

Agree with everyone about Jill. She's missed, she totally made NYC. I think her time on the show is well and truly over though, I cant see Bravo ever bringing her back, not even for a guest spot, which is a shame.

I really enjoyed NY ager catching up with NY over the past few months and getting into it its nice to see it back. Ramona and Sonja and are still my favourite duo i do miss Luann though her absence was felt imo. She's been downgraded as a friend so i dont think we will see her that much but she was filming full time the only demoted her AFTER filming so i hope we do see more of her unlike previous friends of the HW.

I like the new girl Kristen I do wonder what sides she will take, Carole and Heather look more comfortable this season as they get to grips with being on a reality show. As for Avivia i think she will be the 'villain' this season i found her trying too hard to try and be friends with the other women but they all seem done with her.

Shame about the ratings hopefully it picks up but if it stays like that and goes lower then i cant see it coming back for another season . But again i do blame Bravo for it i mean the wrapped filming for NY in September last year so thats 6 month old footage and we are not going to see Ramona and Mario fallout so maybe thats what will effect ratings. But if all else fails then Bravo should just bring back some old cast like Jill 'yes she has burnt bridges but who knows, Bring back Crazy Kelly..yeah she annoyed me but she does bring drama.
Andrew_Duncan
12-03-2014
It's a shame about the ratings. It was almost expected though, there's not a lot of hype. I can't see OC debuting much stronger in April either - although I hope I'm wrong. However, I do think the ratings for NY will dip further in the next few weeks and then pick up again about episode 7 or 8 when the show will get into its stride. If not, and they do keep going down, then Bravo has 3 options; cancel or bring back Jill or Andy needs to call in a favor from Bethenny and get her to come back. It's sad that NY is down to Miami ratings.
