She'll almost definitely get some jail-time, as will Joe... However they may be able to get it staggered and serve their sentences one after the other so that someone is at home with the girls.

And there's still the question of whether Joe will be deported once he's done his time.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It does slightly amuse me how people (not necessarily talking about on here) don't want Teresa to go to jail because she's "entertaining" and she "makes" RHONJ even though she's pled guilty, yet are foaming at the mouth wanting Phaedra to do jail-time despite having not been arrested or officially accused of anything.

Teresa deserves to pay for her crimes just as much as Joe has to pay for his and Apollo has to pay for his... Being the "star" of a tv show shouldn't make any difference to that.

This is bigger than how good a tv show will be without her, it's about justice. She's a criminal and she deserves jail as much as anyone else.

Rant over Don't know what's gotten into me tonight, I'm ranting left & right.

Danielle's probably holding out to see if Teresa goes to jail. If she does Danielle would be in a really good bargaining position to try get that top $.

I'm not sure how Danielle could be brought back in with Dina there. The only way I can think of would be either bringing Jac back to show them make up since they used to be friends or through Melissa - but that couldn't really be done without bringing up the Melissa/Teresa drama again.

So Todd's much mooted LA project has been revealed. He's producing '"Hollywood Divas".

Lisa Wu is one of the cast.

I love Golden Brooks and Countess Vaughn who are also in the cast so I'll probably give it a watch... As much as I like Lisa (and would quite gladly have her back on RHOA) this new show is meant to be about actresses trying to stay relevant and for all of Lisa's business ventures "actress" is about the one title I wouldn't credit her with.

I was thinking the same.

Maybe it's Todd throwing shade towards self proclaimed Hollywood Superstars Nene Leakes and Kenya Moore by casting another Altlanta Housewife as the Hollywood star.

Though to be fair she's done a couple of thing and I believe has been filming a tv series. Maybe the reality show share contacts with that series thus bringing some cross promotion.

NYC was so funny this week. Ramona, Sonja and Luann's car journey, Ramona asking Heather if her house was her garage, Sonja in the boot of the car saying 'i'm staying in here, it's bigger than the house', Heather kicking the camera man over, LOL. It's a really enjoyable season so far.

I think Lisa's casting was probably down to the personal connection (and throwing shade at Nene and Kenya) as her and Kandi are quite good friends if I recall... Wasn't their friendship what introduced Kandi to RHOA? And even since leaving the show Lisa has been at most of Kandi's events.

I wish Lisa well with this new show and her acting career.

Thinking about it... Approaching Nene or Kenya to ask them to appear in a show about people attempting to stay relevant would have been throwing shade in a different way

Just been catching up with the Housewives. This was a great ep of NYC. I'm really enjoying this season.

Ramona is crazier than ever. I swear if she had cut my lip, Id have dragged her in that lake and held her under lol I get that Ramona had a lot to deal with that summer off camera (Mario and his mistress ) but she's just so ridiculously rude. I did think that her, Sonja and Luann in the car was hilarious though, and her refusing to get out the car so that she could "enjoy the AC" was great. I get where she's coming from, I cant stand when its boiling inside either, but its like just shut up and enjoy the trip. It looked like fun. The canoe trip seemed like fun, well until Ramona lost it, and I had to at Ramona telling "Luman" to carry the boats- "she's got those shoulders, she's so big" Loved Heather on the swing barrelling into the cameraman lol

I cant believe Ramona had the nerve to order an AC unit and have it brought to Heathers home. I'm with Kristen, its so tacky, esp when its NOT her home! She was just so rude and ungracious. The delivery guy was funny though, he looked terrified! and who could blame him?!

What was up with Aviva not being in the titles/intro though?? that's so strange. I had to a double take I thought I was imagining it lol I get that she wasn't going to be on the trip and so wouldn't be in those eps, but removing her from the intro seemed a bit much as obviously she's going to be back.

The OC was ok this week. The new girl seems nice enough, I need to checkout her swimwear line, from the photo-shoot she did it seems like she has some nice pieces.
Shannon and her hubby are just so awkward. I cringed through all their scenes at the hotel, they don't seem very compatible. I did laugh when she was like "I need to be drunker for this"

New York is great at the moment. They've got over the disconnect between the women that you felt in Season 5 and it has that whole feel of the early days before all the bitterness set in and ruined it.

I must admit I think Heather is great. She's as bossy as hell and sometime a bit overly serious but I like her directness. Forgive me for being slightly sexist but she is almost like a man in that respect. There's absolutely nothing shady about her and there's no politics at play, if you piss her off she's just very plain and forthright. But I suppose because of her business that's how she has to be. When you're running a team if there's a problem with someone you have deal with them in a very straightforward manner and then just be able to carry on.

I'm assuming it's because they have refused to pay her for the missed time away.

When she signed her contract as a full time cast mate these trips or at least dates would have been agreed. If she pulled out without a good reason she would have been in breach of contract. Obviously they didn't buy her 'medical reasons' and weren't going to pay her for missing these trips. As such they would have probably had to have voided her current 'full time' contact and rewrote a new one to take into account the time away.

Obviously Ramona's trip away and non appearance was agreed beforehand during contract negotiations so when she signed on as a full time cast member they had accounted for her time off (most likely in her fee).

And that's the difference and why Ramona can be kept in the credits and Aviva can't. Because if they kept Aviva in the credits she could have now been in a position to sue the show for her voided original contract on the basis the show has acknowledged she was a full time cast mate even if she did miss a trip or two are therefore should be paid her full time fee (and there are plenty of examples to help her case of full time housewives missing trips and not getting amended contracts).

Removing her from the credits clearly backs up the show's stance that she did not fulfill her original full time contract and should not and was not paid for the time she missed as they have not acknowledged her as part of the cast for that period.

I'd say a lot of this had to do with the hard negotiations for this season, they weren't going to let anyone get away with anything or play up. I bet last year a no show would have been excused somewhat but this year no chance. If one was getting paid for not showing up then that creates a problem with all the others. Luann has been penalized for refusing to sign her contract until 3 episodes of material had been filmed so they couldn't let Aviva get away with it.

I believe the story that they fired her for ratings effect though.

It's interesting what she says about the show breaking the fourth wall a bit more these days. We had 2 moments of that in the last episode - when Heather crashes into the cameraman and Carole telling the interviewer not to put what she just said into the show. We've also had Carole referencing the show itself a few episodes back by reminding viewers of Kelly Bensimon's ''I'm up here, you're down here'' line.

Can you tell me when she is talking about that? I am quite frankly too lazy to skim 43 minutes.

And I'm far too lazy to rewatch it....

To be honest, they talk more about her business in the video. She talks and talks about how she's all about empowering women... right before she starts bitching about a woman called Ramona...

Yeah tbh i dont know why Bravo just dont allow it everyone knows they are doing a reality show and we know that they know the camera is on them. I think its more real if they break the 4th wall obviously not to much but the little thing they have done NY have been great. The Aviva and Heather argument makes more sense to me now because Aviva was shouting 'Im working see the cameras are on me' LOL.

I like how she shut down Ramona about the AC and said Ramona took it with her lol and tbh Heather just confirms that Ramona is just a snob as much as i like Ramona i dont like her whole attitude most of the time because its very snobby.

I have just watched Alex Mccords recap and she said that the NY HW are on 7 Week Contracts APART from Ramona who has the old contract . That means that if they are not bringing drama then Bravo can let them go during filming which explains Aviva's being dropped from the intro, I read to that Aviva made up some medical excuse that she couldn't attend the trip and Bravo didn't buy it so they dropped for a few episodes.

7 week contracts, I wonder why they bothered giving Carlton on BH a full credit, she could have just been a "friend of" because she really brought nothing but a spat with Kyle and sex toy talk.

I think it is so far only on NY because S6 was delayed by the women and by the sound of it Bravo was taking no crap from any of them so gave them Temp Contracts. I think it works tbh and should be applied to all RH.. If someone aint bringing it then let them go i say

What are you talking about?! Carlton was perhaps the most relevant, interesting and dynamic person to ever appear on the Real Housewives!

I mean, she was part of one of the most riveting storylines the show has ever portrayed... http://37.media.tumblr.com/a3c7eb281...5yr7o1_500.gif

I think they are getting sick of the women signing their contracts and then playing up, especially when it comes to turning up to things.

This has been a growing issue with several of the franchises. It was quite heavily reported Kim's constant pulling out led the Atlanta women refusing to film until something was done.

As was Beverley Hills and Lisa's picking and choosing of what she was doing. There were reports this was a bit of a problem and annoying producers, especially as they then felt she was deliberately choosing dates for her events when she know others couldn't make it to avoid the finger being pointed solely at her. That for as much as Kim and Yolanda might have been annoyed with her for fibbing about not being able to make one event and then scheduling another against a date she knew there was something going on, it pissed the producers off more.

The affair of the necklace indeed! I was completely drawn in by that storyline. Thank God they gave us an update at the end!

God I just couldn't bear Carlton. I thought she was going to be good at the beginning, but she brought nothing to the show whatsoever. I have zero interest in what she gets up to with her hubby and the "nanny" in that sex dungeon!
She had awful skin as well, she was so harsh looking! Though, to be fair to her I thought she looked much better at the reunion. Much better!

I can see why Aviva was likely removed from the credits on NYC then, I was just so surprised when I saw it- I figured it would be contractual. Its true though of all the franchises, they sign up then just pick and choose which events etc they want to attend. Its ridiculous. Kim was deff the worst offender for that on Atlanta, esp Season 4. She was never around unless it suited her.

Season 4 of Beverly Hills was very trashy and that was mostly because of Carlton and Brandi, I loved the first 3 seasons and why people loved it cause it had some class and was OTT but in a fabulous kind of way. I want the original cast back.
