Ratings have come in.
RHONY finale has bit 1.6 million mark but overall this season has rated the lowest. Even lower than season 1. RHONJ is a bit worrying as it seems to have declined quite a bit. RHOC has been going strength to strength. Casting is key to success. It looks like the top rated franchie are rhoa, rhoc, rhonj, rhobh, rhom, rhony. NY will see another season. Like I said before, it's a self starter on the Bravo schedule (unlike Miami). None of the franchises, except Miami, are in any danger of being axed tbh. Ratings are fine for Bravo. |

Bring back jill then. I think bravo needs to admit their mistake. They should meep hush hush and let ramona freak out
I kinda do not want Alex back as lets be honest she was Brooklyn and always seemed the odd one out That was Alex's charm. She represented a different type of New York women. She was closer to the middle class section of New York. She was a hustler trying to be on the up and coming and trying to get into social circles. Whereas the rest had made it, or, in Bethenny's case at the beginning, were in the social circles but still building a business. Every housewives show needs an oddball. Quote:
NJ beat OC in the demo and as a whole series, NJ has rated way better than OC.
NY will see another season. Like I said before, it's a self starter on the Bravo schedule (unlike Miami). None of the franchises, except Miami, are in any danger of being axed tbh. Ratings are fine for Bravo. New Jersey's main problem seems to be the new cast. People, don't seem to have really taken to them yet. There isn't a lot of love for the Guidice storyline either. New York is in danger of being axed. Not this season, but next. It's not so much them getting axed that's the current problem. It's the downward trend in ratings which lead to budget cuts, which lessen the shows, and ultimately, the get them the axe. The top rated shows, judging from the latest seasons, are: Atlanta, New Jersey/Orange County tying, Beverly Hills, New York, Miami. I wish someone would just let us know the deal with Miami. |

Didn't Lea or Alexia confirm there were plans to begin shooting in September or something? I heard that somewhere, but I wouldn't quote me on that.

Ok i just watched NY and WOW LOOOOL what a finale but will admit it wasn't a dramatic finale like previous seasons but it was great. Aviva if she is doing it for the cameras or not she brought the drama and i waited all season for that leg to come of
She looked like she knew she was going to do it though it looked like she was undoing it when she sat down at the table. Kristens reaction was the best and that would of been me the others i was a hoping for a more dramatic reaction to but i think they just knew she was desperate for attention. Overal this season has been good but not great I'm so glad Luann was there and in full force Bravo was so stupid to downgrade her it just proves how stupid there choices are when it comes to choosing HW and who gets demoted BIG mistake. It looks like the NY reunion is in 3 parts: http://stoopidhousewives.com/2014/07...-three-parter/ Again why make this 3 parts ? this season wasn't exactly drama packed every episode and the ratings have not been crying out for a 3 part reunion but maybe Bravo just has faith and loves this city that they thought they deserve it. I think Ramona refusing to talk about Mario cheating is kind of lame but i get it she didnt file for divorce till AFTER the cameras stopped rolling and she clearly doesnt want to use that as a storyline i mean she could of milked that haha but for doing what she done i respect her. I just hope now production is in the early stages for S7 contacts are being written up and cast changes being thought about and they should ideally start shooting latest October because season 7 NY needs to bring it otherwise its goodbye to the big apple. |

Since they haven't filmed in over a year, I'm hoping filming begins in the next few weeks and we get the show around December/November. If it's true they are scouting for new wives then filming could be some time away. According to Alex, producers know who's coming back the day after the reunion is filmed. (I assume the wives are approached in the following days for her to know this). I think the producers might be in limbo over which direction to take the show in. I just know one thing, Kristen isn't that direction. Personally, I'm still holding out for Ramona, Luann, Aviva, Carole, Heather, Sonja, Alex & Jill. Then at the end of filming, demote the two with the least going on. I wonder how pay works for when they are demoted after filming. Like, did Luann still get the full-time pay they she signed for? Or is there a clause stating their pay if they get demoted? |

The New York finale was hilarious. Aviva ripping off her leg and throwing it across the room was fun but it just seemed too premeditated to me. i just felt it was all one big performance from everyone in the room.
I just didn't understand the girls' problem with Aviva though. They complain about her when she doesn't show up for things, then complain about her when she does! She can't win. Heather then initiated the entire conversation at the party then demanded everyone to stop it when she felt like it. As for the OC - only 2 things I want to mention about this weeks episode.... 1. Tamra and Heather suggesting they call an ambulance for Shannon was disgusting. I'm glad Lizzie's husband shot that down in seconds. 2. Tamra, Tamra, Tamra. She's a mess. I have no sympathy for her family problems when she's stirred up so much sh*t for Shannon. I have a feeling this could be her final Season as the other women probably won't want to film with someone who is blatantly a liar. Unfortunately for her she doesn't have a big Teresa/Lisa Vanderpump-type fanbase who will be invested in her no matter what. |

New York always make good reunion though - other than last season. This one looks to be good though, I hope the ratings are there for it.

Imagine someone like Big Ange on NY ![]() Quote:
Luann didn't get paid. She agreed to do the show for free. Which makes it even more strange as to why she wasn't a full timer.
she must of got paid surely ? even if she did agree to do it for free Luann was practically a full time HW this season anyway so she deserves a pay check she just didnt have the intro and we dint see her home life but she was there for the trips and the drama more then any friend of the HW who are usually 'friends of'.

Unfortunately for her she doesn't have a big Teresa/Lisa Vanderpump-type fanbase who will be invested in her no matter what. Tamra used to have a fan base, even last season, despite being a sh-- starter. However, this season she has been messy and lazy and in turn has lost pretty much any support she had. Not having a fan base isn't her biggest problem though - not having a storyline is. Or at least, not having a believable storyline is. I always feel really uncomfortable watching her try to cry, it was the same with Gretchen when she used to do it. She hasn't been that interesting to me since her and Simon...and I think that was just because he was so awful that I wanted to route for her. After she threw that drink over Jeana, during the set up, I was over her. Eddie being as dull as dishwater doesn't help her cause either. I did LOL when he looked at her last episode and said in the most unconvincingly considerate voice "aw, you're a mess". ![]() Quote:
I would like to see Alex return but would Bravo have her back after she has spilled the truth on what goes on behind the scenes? Would Alex even do it i dont think she has said she would never return but i get the impression she would only do it for the right money because by the sounds of things she was not happy with the way she god edited and how her children were made to look.
If Jill returns though then i think NY will be safe from the axe as much as people hated her everyone knows she made that show. She's a hot mess and seeing the women deal with her would be hysterical. Could you imagine her, Aviva, & Jill in the one room? That's too much. lol! |

I was excited when I read Adrienne/Camille/Taylor were returning in limited roles but this seems a step backwards, for me at least. The viewers haven't seemed to like new cast members either (declining since Brandi & Yolanda joined in season 3, then when Carlton & Joyce did season 4)
First of all, I doubt she's making that much. Either that or Bravo are getting ready to butter her up as the queen bee of the show and boot Lisa Vanderpump, it wouldn't be worth the investment if they weren't. Not only that, she's slated to have 2 films out this year and 2 next year so I hope she isn't doing a Joyce and joining the revolving door of one season housewives. I'll hold full judgement until we see her. The article indicates that she doesn't get on with Lisa Rinna too, which is probably going to be one of the main storylines, if it's true. It looks like, with Lisa R, Eileen, and Christine (I assume she's just a friend), all joining the show, someones likely to get the boot. Unless, they're going to try 7 housewives again. As long as Kim & Kyle stay then I don't care that much. I hope this Eileen woman has other links to cast members, and I hope they are introduced gradually, like the new OC women were. (Both have the same production company so fingers crossed!) |

I'm so confused by the two latest episodes of the OC.Was it reality, scripted reality or scripted drama? Who the hell behaves like Tamra (and re the kids, Vicki) You both have grown ass children, one a mother herself. And yet moving away is all about you? What a selfish pair of egotists. The purpose of parenting is to raise people who are functioning members of society, able to stand on their own two feet. I'd say both have done that, and while I think Brianna's bloke is a toerag and a potential abuser Brianna's done it despite Vicki. I still shudder at her turning up at Michael's college room when he was watching a Football game. Inappropriate? Much? And Tamra, you do not have a psychotic breakdown (especially after accusing Shannon of being nigh on in a straight-jacket And you certainly don't try and extract every minute detail from your future daughter-in-law about her fathers' suicide. Unbelievable. I have no words about Heather. She's a famewhore who thinks everyone else needs to do exactly as she judges and life is a constant round of making sure that she's on a pedestal and nobody is saying a tiny thing that could minimise her awesomeness. Time's up for Tamra, plastic baby and all. Who does that in real life? A mother of 3 or 4 signs up to look after one of the brats so her new husband can realise the joy of fatherhood. Epic fail!I just cant believe these last two episodes, hilarious as they were, happened without a total script from Bravo. |

Unbelievable. Her reaction to Ryan's news was hilariously tragic. Such a desperate attempt to salvage something out of the mess for TV. Also, I don't know if the timelines were accurate in the latest episode but there was something gratifying about watching Tamra suggest calling an ambulance for Shannon's ''breakdown'' when later in the same episode we see Tamra herself acting scarily bizarre! I feel sorry for Ryan's girlfriend/fiance/baby momma - there are moments when life raises massive red flags for you and that should've been one of them for her! RUN! ![]() Quote:

As much as Heather bugs me sometimes I actually like her. I think her main problem isn't what she says, it's how she says it. If she uses the same words but in a different tone then she'd probably be fine.

Vicki just posted something VERY cryptic on her facebook wall. Quote:
Positioning yourself over and over again, choosing to open up to people who don't have your best interest at heart shows desperation and will chip "you" away to broken pieces. Let's make this season of our lives, the last season of being devalued... and let the chips fall where it may. #WooHoo
"the last season of being devalued" - something tells me she is talking about the show here. Do you think she will leave? In my opinion it would be a shame, I actually like her very much this season, she seems to have matured a little bit. I will never forget her screaming at the top of her lungs on the ski slope. ![]()

Blimey. Vicki leaving would be as catastrophic as Jill being booted.

According to reports, Teresa is getting paid $700,000 for S6. Melissa is getting $250,000, Dina is getting $100,000 and the 3 newbies are getting $60,000 each.
I just can't help but LOL at the fact that Teresa is getting paid more than all the other housewives combined. |

I enjoyed the NY Finale, I have to agree about Aviva's behaviour at the party, it all just felt a bit pre-meditated to me as well, and she came prepared with her whole "the only thing fake about me is this leg" thing! Having said that, the moment itself was such fun to watch. How can you not love a crazy chick throwing her artificial leg across a room?!
My reaction would have been a mix of Carole and Lu, Carole's I'm Done for the absurdity of it all, and Lu being in utter hysterics. That would have been me. I loved Carole's "they say its not over till the fat lady sings, or the skinny bitch throws her leg" ![]() Aviva is just never going to win with these women, particularly Heather and Carole (and by default, Kristen), no doubt she's cray-cray, but she's fun to watch. For me at least! A 3 part Reunion though? I'm not sure it warrants that, NY tend to do good Reunions though so I guess we will see soon. Next season is anyone's guess, Id say itll get Season 7, but as for cast and what happens then, who knows. I just hope they start filming soon, having such a long break between season 5 and 6 no way helped the ratings. Id love them to just bite the bullet and bring Jill back, do they not realise it would give the show exactly the kind of boost it needs. Bravo, just get over yourselves! I hope Lu is back, and I cant believe I'm saying that, I couldn't take her before but I've loved her this season! The OC- Surely Vicki isn't thinking of leaving?! She cant! At least, not without making it to 10 Seasons. That's Housewife history, and she is THE original HW. I also found Tamra desperately tragic this latest ep. Her reaction to Ryan was ridiculous. She really doesn't have her own thing going on at all this season. She's just a sh*t stirrer, and it seems that they are all starting to wise up to her now, I mean even Vicki has come out against her. Id much rather Tamra left than Vicki, esp if they have fallen out, I cant take the pair of them when they are not talking. They either need to be friends, or not be on the show together at all. I agree with BumbleSquat on Heather. I actually like Heather, I don't always agree with her, but I like watching her, I totally agree its not so much what she says, its her delivery, that's what seems to instantly get peoples backs up. Plus I've always thought Heather was more suited to maybe the NY HW. Oh and a bit OT, but I hope Heather watched the Ladies of London finale, Caroline showed the right way to kick a bitch out your house! Loved it. I cant believe there are only 3 more eps left of The OC before the Reunion The season has flown in! I thought there would be at least 4 or 5 left, when do they go to Bali then? Will the finale be in Bali then? I thought there would at least be a cpl eps in Bali then back to OC for the finale. What a brilliant season this has been for The OC though, I've loved it.

Maybe she means next season. They've filmed the reunion and she's probably already been asked back. I hope she returns for season 10. It'll be sad when she leaves, eventually, though. I'm hoping next season see's the return of Jeana. She didn't rule it out on WWHL after the 100th episode, she just said she wouldn't do it then and that her family had to be on board with doing it.
I'd love season 10 to have some returning cast members, in a recurring or guest role. I'd love to see every OC housewife turn up for the end of season party. wait...maybe it's a hint that Tamra's getting fired. 'Choosing to open up to people who don't have your best interest at heart shows desperation and will chip "you" away to broken pieces' This could be about her opening up to Tamra and Tamra throwing her under the bus all time and taking shots at her and Brooks. Tamra is the only one that Vicki isn't getting along with at the moment so if Tamra goes no one will devalue her. I don't care for Tamra at this point, but I think it'd be sad if either left the OC. I' rather have Vicki stay though. |

I just can't help but LOL at the fact that Teresa is getting paid more than all the other housewives combined. If Tre's back next season she'll probably be getting a pay cut. She's lost a lot of fans recently. Outside housewives fan sites and forums, on general news sites, she isn't popular at all. And, the viewers are hardly tuning into watch the show. I haven't watched this season yet. I don't even have any excitement too - and I watch all the Housewives. Teresa not being able to string a sentence together grates on me, as does the tacky new housewives (I watched the preview episode), and all thing Joey Gorga are bleugh. From what I've read on other sites, the first two episodes have been a snooze. |

I love all the talk in here of Jill, I loved it when she and Bethenny were pals, their humour was right up my street. I don't really recall why Jill is so unpopular if I'm honest but then I often like the ones no one else does and vice versa lol. I never liked Brandi from the start, nor Teresa, nor Kim on BH. The exception to that rule being Jodi in Vancouver who was beyond vile and seemed unhinged! ![]()

Hey guys... Bit of advice from you diehard Housewives fans!! I love RHOBH and RHOA! Started watching RHOC from season 5... Is that a good place to start? The episodes earlier look quite outdated.... Is RHOC worth watching? I really enjoy RHOBH and this looks similar... I never really liked RHONJ..saw a few episodes and just never got into it..
