Jeana was on "Yes to the Dress" recently, Kara is/was getting married. It was nice to see them all.
I love all the talk in here of Jill, I loved it when she and Bethenny were pals, their humour was right up my street. I don't really recall why Jill is so unpopular if I'm honest but then I often like the ones no one else does and vice versa lol. I never liked Brandi from the start, nor Teresa, nor Kim on BH. The exception to that rule being Jodi in Vancouver who was beyond vile and seemed unhinged! ![]() ![]() I don't like the favourites either. I don't like Lisa V or Teresa. I've never really seen the fascination with them. Lisa V hasn't really done anything since coming on the show, other than be English. Tre was sweet most of season 1 but then became a bully during season 2 and the past 3 seasons was a mixture of Karma, self-infliction, and being around people as bad as herself. I noticed during the parking lot argument with Melissa that she twists things a lot, like when she brought up the kids gifts, then when Melissa pointed out that what Teresa did was worse, Teresa asked 'why is it always about material things?'..when she was the one that brought them up. Her inability to string a sentence together irritates the life out of me. Oh god, could you imagine have to listen to her take the stand during the trial, or her IRS/police interview? Ugh... Quote:
Hey guys... Bit of advice from you diehard Housewives fans!! I love RHOBH and RHOA! Started watching RHOC from season 5... Is that a good place to start? The episodes earlier look quite outdated.... Is RHOC worth watching? I really enjoy RHOBH and this looks similar... I never really liked RHONJ..saw a few episodes and just never got into it..

Love it.The OC was weird this week. The whole scene with Tamra and her family with dinner was just odd. Her son looks awful too. What I like about these shows are that your opinions of people totally change from season to season. I am really liking Brookes this year So weird.Brianna needs to grow up and stop being selfish, she's leaving home, is a wife and a mother of 2 kids, just be happy for your Mother. Whether it works or not, Vicki's old enough to make her own mistakes. NJ- I'm liking this season so far even if it is a bit difficult to watch at times. I have never been a huge fan of Teresa and if they're guilty they should both go to jail, no questions, however when you see scenes with the kids like Christmas day scenes it makes you feel really bad for the kids. I actually like the twins too even if I may be in the minority. NYC- The leg thing was soo fake, but soo enjoyable. Aviva needs to be back next season. |

Basically 2 episodes into Game of Crowns and one chick has claimed another girls husband threatened to kill her. There is a fight in an airport over an outfit and one girl has been called manly and not facially beautiful enough for pageants.
Its so messy and they're all totally fake except maybe the one woman who has transitioned from fitness competitions to pageants, she seems nice. I like it so far

Phaedra is apparently taking leave of absence from Atlanta to focus on her kids...and because she'll have to address this mess on camera, which doesn't fit her carefully crafted image. I think it's best though, I'm not her biggest fan, but I don't want to see Kenya drag her, and in turn her kids, through the mud with this.
Apollo has apparently filmed a lot without Phaedra and will be back without her - the most ridiculous thing ever imo. Maybe, she left because she didn't want to film with him. She wants to come back season 8, allegedly, but producers aren't so keen on leaving the door open for her. |

If Kenya did drag her through the mud its Phaedra's own fault. What was it Phaedra said about sperm donors at the reunion, seems her babies' daddy is one of those types of people she was referring to, a criminal.
No sympathy for Phaedra in this, she has had her fake Southern Belle facade up for way too long. |

As for Phaedra 'leaving', I'm not surprised and totally knew it would happen. Phaedra won't want herself to look dirty on screen. I wonder if they'll bring someone else in to replace her. Alanta will probably end up being Nene vs. Cynthia and Kenya vs. Porsha, with Kandi just being there in the middle of both. It's about time Atlanta brought someone new in. But only one, I don't think we need drastic changes to the most successful franchise!

I actually like the twins too even if I may be in the minority. Atlanta- I'm not hugely surprised at this news about Phaedra stepping away if its true, as much as I love her, I could see it happening. Esp with Apollo going to jail. She is not going to be happy that he's been filming, etc and that in some way she's going to have to address this on camera. Again, its her boys I feel sorry for. It will be so confusing for them when Apollo just isn't around anymore. Ill miss Phaedra on the show though. I've loved watching her. Of course, if she is going, can we please get Sheree back?? even as a "friend", I would just love to see Sheree back on Atlanta. OT- but I'm glad someone mentioned Game Of Crowns, I'm considering giving this a go, it looks like it might be quite a fun show. With M2M finished, and NY and The OC wrapping up I'm only really watching NJ and Don't Be Tardy. |

If Phaedra is leaving it's probably more to do with her not wanting to confront this -
http://www.allaboutthetea.com/2014/0...-pursuing-him/ She won't want to stick around for the fallout of Apollo admitting that it was all a big lie. |

I am so going to watch Game of Crowns, it sounds right up my street. I'm watching "Married At first Sight" which is exactly what it says on the tin. Enjoyed the first two episodes when they were grappling with whether to marry a complete stranger, but bored now it's post wedding "will they wont they?"I was going to say "Only in America" but we had that tacky marry a stranger from a Birmingham radio station. The woman who got married is the current wife of Jeremy Kyle which proves she has absolutely no taste. ![]() Cocained If I was starting OC and didn't want to watch from the beginning I think I'd start with Season 4 too. It was the first time they really shook up the cast. Plus you wouldn't have to watch Laurie gold digging her repulsive husband and showing just how NOT to be a Mother. (whatever happened to her son? Last I heard he was doing jail time for drugs. )

That's what Kenya was saying all along. Calling Phaedra's kids the spawn of a convicted felon (who probably has AIDS). Phaedra's comment was about 'Well yeah you keep saying that but the way you're doing it you won't know if yours is an even worse criminal'. That's the problem with Kenya, she revels in the fact her enemies wife is a blue collar criminal yet her most high profile beau was a convicted rapist. She (not Phaedra) is the one who white washes her life. |

Phaedra Leaving is no biggie for me, her 'perfect image' has been on the skids ever since her 1st season imo she has always been shady and dodgy. I think her leaving will be for good as she will not want to talk about how her 'perfect' life is now tarnished and she knows the reunion is where real questions are asked and she will not want that. But this does mean there is a spot open for another HW to take her place or producers will just leave it and have friends of take her place.
As for NJ ratings I can see why they are dropping because nothing much is happening some blog comments are saying its because Caroline and Jac are no longer on the show but tbh i think its because theres no real drama yet NJ is known for its fights and bust ups and until we see some of that then the ratings won't be high yet. But i do think Caroline and Jac will come back next season as producers will ask them back along with Danielle

Definitely start OC at S4. A lot happened at the reunion which is brought up multiple times throughout the seasons.

Just watched the first two episodes and thought I was watching "Mob Wives"I love these Bravo shows that pick up on one little thing, blow it all out of all proportion then create a whole show to he said/she said. I mean, honestly, even if I was tacky enough to do an adult version of "Toddlers and Tiaras" would I really expect my husband to threaten other women because they were gambling on the result? I laughed at wearing exactly the same dress at the airport. I'd think the winner would be the woman who swapped outfits, the dress was vile and did nothing for either of them. I cant imagine the mentality of the women who enter these pageants. It gives a whole new meaning to staying married. Cos there's no way you can enter a Mrs one if you're an ex-Mrs. I loved it. Count me in.

I mean yes she puts on this 'Southern Belle' style but that is more about manners and lifestyle than the ins and outs, ups and downs of life. Out of all the women she's always come across as the one who is least afraid to put her dirty washing out there on the show. I mean the whole of last season was her displaying her tense marital issues with Apollo in a way none of the other women show their lives (Cynthia and Peters comedy arguments don't count). She came in on the show as someone who was lying about boinking her ex con husband before marriage so as not to upset her christian mother. Hardly the hallmark of a person trying to 'carefully construct' a 'perfect image'. She puts more out there about the real bad and good of her life than most housewives she just also happens to play this ballet loving Scarlett O'Hara wannabe (and we all know Scarlett wasn't no angel with a perfect life). To be honest I think there is a bit of projection going on from Kenya and her clique. I've watched the show, I've read the receipts with my own eyes, if anyone is trying (but failing) to construct the perfect image it's been Kenya. Fake boyfriends, fake houses, lying about her movie career and production company, fraudulent charity gala's. And yet #teamkenya think Phaedra is faking her life!?? Like I say, projection. |

Regardless of that, I don't think we are that invested to be projecting Kenya's behaviour. Also, none of us are in her 'clique' either LOL. I don't really understand why we ended up at Kenya's fans when we were discussing Phaedra's image anyhow. It's not just posters on this forum that agree about Phaedra strictly controlling her image to the point that her character has become a facade, it seems pretty much across the board. Manzo'd with Children: It has wrapped filming now. Caroline said earlier in the year that it would premiere in the fall, but apparently, it was released with Bravo's fall schedule (I didn't think it was even out yet.) Anyone going to watch it? I didn't like Caroline but I'll give it a try. She could be more likable on her spin off, like Kim Z. |

This is a woman who meets 'client's in the car park. So as much as I do enjoy her on the show and will miss her, she's definitely shady. I also think you're missing the point about her trying to put out the perfect image. She was lying about her due date in order to put out the perfect image. |

Must you always come across so haughty in your contributions? If you don't mean them to come across in such a way then maybe you should re-think how you word and structure them to avoid this, as this is the second time you've been picked up on this, in this thread. I believe it was only a week or two ago that some called you rude - which, by the way, is not justified by being 'honest' or 'fair'.
