If anyone's interested ITV 1 is showing the first series of New York around midday (think it's on a Saturday).

I just couldn't stomach Simon in all his camp glory and speedos so I dont think I'll be rewatching.

Just catching up on my weekly HoWives episodes.

Tardy For The Wedding wasn't so funny this week but still hugely enjoyable for us trash addicts. Kroy's family who are ultra Christian come to stay and be introduced to their new grandson. Now as Kim's psychic has already told her they dont approve, Kim decides to have her first fag in a year, plus a large glass of wine. So she's probably reeking of stale smoke and alcohol as she gives the future in-laws a hug!!

But the look on Momma Kroy's face as she looks at the enormous blow up photographs of naked Kroy, Kim and K-J is priceless. ( Word Kim, if you know your religious future M-I-L is coming, replace them with a few of Montana or KJ or something. nekkid 8 months preggers Kim isn't rocking her world. )
There's a bit of bonding over choosing M-I-L's outfit, but Kim's mother is a no show so I reckon this is the start of the big feud, Sheesh Kroy's mum and Kim's mum would be polar opposites and I think Mamma Kroy has had enough shocks already!

I'm not even guiltily going to say that I think Tardy is wonderful. This is trash TV at it's absolute best, though if you haven't followed Kim for the last 3 seasons in the HoWives of Atlanta, I dont think you'd get just how different she is. She cracks me up at times.

I wish I could say the same about OC. After 7 seasons I think I've had enough. Both Brad ( Vicky's new man) and Jim are vile. I thought Jim didn't want to be filmed anymore? Gretchen goes to Vegas to make a prat of herself singing with The Pussy Cat Dolls although she was so bad in rehearsals I wonder if she does? Alexis shows her BFF Gretchen footage of her television spot, which is even worse than I remember and gets all huffy when Gretchen suggests getting an acting coach. ROTFL, now that IS a real friend. Spot on!

But otherwise it was just meh! Right just got NJ to catch up on. I've walked the dogs so can waste 40 minutes of my life with the Gorgas and Guidices.

Even though I haven't seen the reunion of RHOA I've seen clips and just want add that it's great Sheree's gone. Just when you think that woman can't get any lower, she surprises you. It was bad enough throwing Kandi to the wolves and living up Kim's bottom throughout the season, but turning on Phaedra the one person that really tried to help her was terrible. Sheree actually thought that Phaedra was crossing a line, by expecting to be paid. She couldn't honestly expect Phaedra to represent her for free, I doubt she'd represent her husband "free of charge"

Season six of OC, really like Alexis, yes she's not the sharpest tool in the drawer, but she seems harmless, not sure about Peggy though, I think she's latch on to whoever is "popular" at the time. Can't see Eddie and Tamra working out, that bath scene was a little too much. Seeing as what's happened with Vicki and Donn, can't believe Donn put up with Vicki for so long, Donn got a little drunk at the party, but for Vicki to treat Donn like he was invisible really hurt him.

Starting to like Slade more than Gretchen. Slade is arrogant and does have issues, but I think that Gretchen sees that as permission to make Slade feel bad, she acts like she owns him now and only way Gretchen can take her "lease" seriously is if Slade got a proper job and started earning more than her.

There is no reason for Slade not to get a job/keep pretending he's consulting. If he brought some income in he could pay a decent amount of child support.

And his sons speak french don't ya know pretentious, moi?!

Yes I am watching though, not seen that series before.

And my goodness aren't they into their "connections"?! You forgot to mention that they sing happy birthday in Latin too!!

I do wonder about what type of work he could actually get. To go from being filthy rich to the polar opposite I do wonder if he was declared bankrupt and they are not saying. He did go from riches to rags. Don't think Gretchen will marry him else she'd have done it by now. Seems just handy for her to keep him around. Soon his lease will be up and she'll be onto a new rental!!

Is anyone else watching the 'Real Housewives of Vancouver'? I just caught up today as I had nothing else to do this bank holiday weekend lol Luckily there was only 6 episodes so far It's a good series I would say, not great but entertaining nevertheless. It's a mix of RHONY and RHOBH. I have to say though that Jody and Ronnie are two of the most horrible bullies I have ever seen! They're treatment of poor Mary is not very nice to watch. I don't know who Jody thinks she is and who made her the moral police of everything? Ronnie is just a mean drunk too, she had obviously been drinking at the hotel and was just looking for trouble. Mary is very sweet and I was glad she stood up for herself. Reiko is probably my favorite but I don't know why she believed Ronnies side in the hotel argument. Playing both sides is not going to be good for her. I'm really surprised about how much I like Christina too In the first episode I thought she was going to be the housewife I disliked but shes a lot of fun

The knives are out for Tre and Juicy in NJ. I'm just about to watch Celeb Apprentice to see if she survives to the finale. Somehow I dont think the Donald wants Tre as his new Celeb Apprentice but sheesh, she's been a different woman from the one we love to loathe. Unlike Kim she's not afraid of hard work. It's just that she's intellectually challenged and a follower not a leader.
Her little brother made me want to be sick in the latest episode of NJ. He's such a jumped up, egotistical little midget.

Just wanted to post my thoughts on Tardy and RHOC. Ive yet to watch ep 2 of NJ so ill post when I have.

So, Tardy for the wedding. I LOVE it!! Its such a guilty pleasure, and dare I say it, Kim is fabulous on it. She kills me sometimes the things she comes out with- so, so funny I agree with tally though, if you havent watched Kim since RHOA maybe you wont really understand just how different she is. Kroys parents coming to visit was great, the look on their faces at all these half naked pictures of Kim/Kroy everywhere was hilarious You can only imagine what Kroys mum must be thinking about Kim! I did like Kims attempts at bonding with her future mother in law by "helping" her make Kroys fave beef dish.

You can see the troble brewing between Kim and her own mother, when she didnt turn up to look at mother of the bride outfits, and it only looks like itll get worse next week. I do think it might have been a blessing in disguise though, Kroys poor mum is still trying to get her head around Kim, what would she make of being faced with her mum aswell?!

I thought the bit at the beginning of the ep was good aswell, with Kim talking to baby KJ and asking him to put in a good word for her with the grandparents Its cute, and I do like those little segments with the baby.

Moving onto the OC....again I find myself agreeing again with what tally has said, I think its losing its appeal for me. Ill still watch though! but its just not grabbing me the way it used to ( I really miss the Atlanta ladies though- hurry up season 5!! ) I did think Gretchens comment about Alexis being second choice for the Fox5 thing was a bit rude though, Im no fan of Alexis and her crazy, delusional ways, but that was a bit mean! I still laughed though and the look on Alexis face was too funny. She really is awful at presenting, and I use that as a loose word for what she does!

As for Gretchen and her PCD gig, its painful to watch! Though, I do wait with baited breath to see how the actual performance goes.....

Im a bit behind with The OC aswell so ill post on the next ep when Ive watched it.... I look forward to Vickis reaction to Brianna getting married though!

I love tally and her posts aswell. I watch at the same US pace, and find my posts tend to reflect what tally has said, we seem to agree on most things in housewives land.....!! Great mind's huh?! must be!

Can you tell me where you watch these episodes of RHOC + RHNY please, i watch the ones on ITV2, but some of the things i see posted on here seem to be more up to date than the ones i'm watching. Ive tried youtube but it only gives tiny clips, and says full episodes cant be viewed.

awww. Thank you. I live on my own and have to spend quite a bit of time on bed rest ( I have a weird and wonderful illness noone has ever heard of but it leaves you with ME symptoms some days). That's why I've the time to watch most of the trash put out by Bravo. I love taking the mickey and writing down my opinions, but, as Sassy can attest, the American sites are vicious They spent about 12 pages debunking Kim's claims that she was a Size 2!!. Now even for me that's a bit OTT, who cares?
This thread has really taken off lately and is so friendly and pleasant. It's so nice that we're all watching all series at different times and places! Someone will post something about an old season and I'll be in fits of laughter, remembering it.

That's the beauty of the RHo's. With the exception of BH, they make you so glad you're normal and dont live like these women who may or may not have the cash, but most certainly dont have the class! It makes my day to know I'm not batshit insane like a few of them.

O/T I had fibre-optic BB installed on Thursday. I'm in seventh heaven. How on earth did I manage before? It took less than 6 minutes to get OC, NJ and Tardy, all three....it would have taken HOURS before.

I'm going to watch. I've been waiting for my BB speeds to improve before I added another programme to my long list and now I have phenomenal d/loads I will get it sometime this week. Thanks for the thumbs up on it.

Oh No. It looks like NJ is going the same way as the OC. I've just watched 40 minutes of utter "what the hell is this all about?" tripe from the latest episode.

It wasn't tacky, it wasn't funny. It was the awful B word.....BORING.

I still cant really think what the point of it was. Apart from a bit at the Manzo's house where Lauren is carrying on with her diet and getting upset at her brothers teasing her and Ashley being snidey to Jacqueline via Skype.... Chris must have literally kicked her all the way onto the plane and handcuffed her in her seat! it was all about Treasa and Melissa, arguing during some ridiculously twee party ( where they had to all wear virginal white to symbolise purity. Hah! )
Going back to Treasa tactfully telling brother Joey that Melissa would leave him if someone with more money came along there was half an hour of these two bickering. A husband should talk over things with their spouses, Tre. It's what marriage is all about. I swear she is totally jealous of Melissa being closer to Joey than she is, silly cow.

Anyway, after an eternity of back and forth, a spat about nothing ended with Jacqueline in tears, Kim ( the owner of Porsche, not the dreaded other KimD) listening and no doubt gossiping to all her customers, Caroline standing back and watching Tre make an utter ass of herself, again! I was just yawning. This is not riveting telly, it's a domestic spat over nothing.

I sort of picked up that Treasa was offended that Melissa used the word "jail" which, apparently is a major faux pas in Jersey. Your nearest and dearest doesn't go to jail, he "goes away" Talk about denial, I'm sure the Mob is grateful their families haven't got convicted criminals serving prison time, they're on vacation. The irony of Tre giving a full front page spread titled "My Life Without Joe" in a major tabloid which her kids could see in any supermarket, has completed bypassed her, as usual.

Come on Bravo, buck it up. I used to love NJ. This was a snorefest.

So true! Some of the US threads are vicious. tally is right, they will literally spend pages and pages listing their "objections" about whatever. Its pathetic. Id love to know who has the time these days to obsess over a tv show that much?!

Thats why I enjoy this thread, its so calm and friendly, nobody trying to argue their point and a lack of the whole " I can shout the loudest" syndrome. Its good aswell that we are all at different pace with our Housewives viewing. Its fun seeing people discover for the first time things that made me go when I first saw it!

So, onto NJ. I havent caught ep 3 yet, but seeing tally's reaction it isnt filling me with hope. Im really hoping season 4 will kick into gear at some point. Ive found the first couple of eps a bit Meh so far :yawn: They certainly have it in for Tre though, she just doesnt get it though, at all! I might be in the minority here, but I dont mind Melissa, and I do think the main propblem with Tre is that she is a bit jealous of her. Having said that, I cant stand Joe Gorga (Tre's bro, Mellisa's hubby) hes a jumped up, egotistical little creep. And if I hear any more mention of "little Joey" or his "Poison" I think ill start breaking things!

It just seems to be the same, silly argument back and forth, and OMG, they need to get over the whole cook book drama. Its bordering on stupidity now. Juicy Joe is still as vile as ever, why Tre stays with him Ill never know, and she really does seem to love him! It baffles me!

As I say, Im hoping things will kick in soon, but I was really expecting season 4 to be much better than it is, given all the bad feeling amongst the women. But its only been 3eps so I guess theres time yet.

NY is back next month so hopefully that will bring the crazy back again, you can usually count on Ramona for drama!

I'm going to miss Jill. Why oh why do we get stuck with the ex Countess Noclass? Jill was awful but she made terrific telly, sort of did she really do/say that?
Luanne on the other hand just makes me want to slap her. She's a jumped up, social climbing snob without the faintest idea of what class actually is. Ramona is one of the aforementioned batshit insane members, so worth watching. Besides, her husband is hot.

I'm just about to watch OC and Gretchens PCD's performance in Vegas. I have ear plugs ready!
