Spot on about Jill. Even though she's self centred foul mouthed vile attention seeking and totally blind to her own faults she makes great television. She shot herself in the foot with Bethenny, but at times she was more likable than Ramona. It's great the countess is still on the show but, only because I want her to get her comeuppance. She was terribly mean last season and it would be interesting to see how Luann would react to being treated like dirt.

Didn't the Countess's daughter break both wrists or something? Were they at the Hamptons? Wasn't that all glossed over, I seem to recall one of the housewives mentioning alcohol....

Oh nd Mrs Gulvasson is apopletic with rage when Brianna and her husband tell her they're married. Her reaction is muted as she's in total shock and disbelief. after all, it wasn't all about her. The aftermath comes next episode, though from the preview it looks like she gets engaged to Brads *barf*. And it totally isn't an attempt to upstage Brianna's marriage news, oh no. Vicki would never do that, would she?

I was just rewatching the last RHONY reunion and some of them really didn't like each other it was just nasty. But while we're on topic there two things that Ramona did that were totally out of order imo (I don't dislike her but I'm not a fan) Firstly when she 'outed' Jill for attending an AA meeting was wrong imo (Even though Jill said she went for a friend as support) and secondly when she went quite viciously after Victoria. There is lots of bad behaviour on the RH but I hate it when they involve the children (The under 18's at least) and I was disgusted that Ramona would go there with Luann.

RHONJ just seems to be going around in circles atm I think Teresa is in the wrong but I think she was just retaliating to Joe Gorga's accusations about Joe Guidice. The thing she doesn't seem to get is that Joe Gorga never intended for Tre to see those texts, but Tre told Joe Gorga to his face in an attempt to hurt him. Joe Guidice really is a brainless oaf too. I don't know who he thinks he is to go around criticising peoples looks tbh I do love to see Kathy's sister Rosie though She's hilarious

I'm in the same boat as you. Are you like me just watching the OC on ITV2? I have just really got into it again and see that it finishes tomorrow, damn. We are so behind here in the UK with all the Housewives series I really wish just one channel would pick up the whole lot and bring them up to date for the UK viewers. Repeats are sometime shown on Watch, Channel4, E and now ITV2, it's all over the place.

I was so into the NJ housewives, the last I saw was the series that finished with the fight in the resturant? that was ages ago, I am sure their must be so many series that have followed since then?

Anyhow, todays OC was nuts. Vicky telling Tamara that her marriage is in trouble and then she is rushed into hospital and Tamara gets a text about it whilst she is at Alexis fashion show.

Gretchin saying that Vicky was faking it being in hospital, OMG, so Tamara shows her a picture of the IV on her mobile ....... jeez you really couldn't make this up, hilarious. How dare Vicky get rushed to hospital when Alexis was showing off her new fashion line

I thought Gretchen was out of line to accuse Vicki of being in hospital to upstage Alexis' fashion show. I know Vicki likes to be centrestage but I don't think she'd do that.

Oh gawd, where to start? I've 2 OC ones to pass comment on, and I totally take back what I said about it getting stale and boring. Both episodes were fantastic, mostly because our resident control freak had her comeupance, finally. Sorry Vicki, those tears mean nothing, they're all about you, not the shameful, disrespectful way your 25 year old daughter has treated you.

Payback time for all those dates you accidently found B and her then boyfriend, sat yourself down and actually thought they were glad to see you. Go Brianna. I thought you were/are wonderful, even more this week.

To go back to the tasteful, unsexy PC Doll extravaganza that Jim was so bored at, Alexis thought bordered on porn and Tamra decided to take up being a gynocologist as she was up close and ersonal, so to speak , Gretchen "sang" but it wasn't singing as we know it. She was off key the whole time. Painful, but it could have been worse.

More really LOL scenes with Alexis' new coach trying to find 50 ways to tell her she stinks and while she'll be nice as she's on telly and getting paid( I just surmised that, it wasn't actually said) she's metophorically pulling her hair out. Alexis is absolutely awful. Her arms flail around wildly as she tries to make sense of the written word. She may be God's gift in her own eyes, but boy oh boy, she's too thick to read stuff and totally unaware of just how crap she is. Jim's solution, of course, is she gives it up as it takes her away from him and the family. She might also realise what a cretin she's married to and take him off his pedestal. Not difficult to do with a nigh on bankrupt, sexist piece of lard.

There was also some nice mother and son bonding with Tamra and Ryan, which could never happen with Simon around, as he banned Ryan from the house.

Dadada...and then the drama starts:

Vicky goes out with Brianna to have an evening meal and to approach her about meeting her fabulous new man. (forgive me while I recover from being sick. Oh and it's Brooks, not Brads as I called him before )
But Brianna very calmy tells her that she and Ryan have already tied the knot in Las Vegas. Vicki goes through every horror emotion the botox will let her face express. So not many.

And on to the next episode.... Tamra and Vicki are opening an online wine business but I've totally forgotten how it works. It's a faux red carpet event, with Heather saying she doesn't think this lot have ever been on a proper red carpet. BAH, doesn't she realise they are STARS and go to lots of red carpet stuff, the Bravo awards and the equivalent downmarket events like the TV Quick Awards we have over here.

Our nose job queen is orderedby Jim to redo her makeup and arrives "fashionably on time".
Meanwhile Vicki has been sounding off for hours about how her world has collapsed but she's got to support Brianna aotherwise she'll lose her. ( Word Vicki, you lost her years ago) She announces B's news in typical OTT Vicki manner with a noticeable lack of Whoo Hoos and all the others are shocked, but pull themselves together to look at B's stunning ring and congratulate her, while Tamra shouts out at the top of her voice "Is she pregnant?" Oh Tam, if only you knew how spot on you are.
Cue more from V as she puts on her best angry/miserable face. She's nowhere near ready to be a granny yet, but notes it isn't about her. Ha!
Michael gets to meet Brooks, pretty much hates him on sight as do all the ladies and it's a very uncomfortable scene. Next up, Brianna who is totally against this. Another very uncomfortable scene but Vicki tells her she's been supportive of her, and she and Brooks are just like Brianna and Ryan.......

Oops Vicki. Big mistake. Brooks lives off Vicki, she knows sod all about him, he owes thousands in unpaid child support, but he's comparable to a kid who's been dating his wife for ages and just got back from Afghanistan?

But, of course, this is not about Vicki, this is about Brianna, totally.

Sorry not answered this. Yup, she did. At first it was thought she tried to commit suicide (it was right after Papa de Lessops shacked up with his bimbo and Luann divorced him).

But by the time Luann had spun it, it was "an accident" so make your own mind up about it.

It happened off season I think, but was mentioned in Series 3.

I'm just laughing at your write up, I feel like I'm actually watching it on the telly! What exactly was Alexix trying to do that needed a coach? Does she want to be a dancer or an actress? Were she and Jim living beyond their means too? Has her Christian beliefs played much of a part in this series? I used to think she was sincere about her beliefs but now I feel she puts them on and takes them off like a jacket.

That's too bad about Luann's daughter. I wonder how being the daughter of a divorced Countess goes down in a society where seemingly appearance is worth far more than substance?

I did wonder about Luann's friends, were they friends because of her title or because they like being with her and the friendship is unconditional. As she will lose the title if she remarries I don't think she will get married again anytime soon.

It's interesting to watch these programmes, you learn quickly that things ain't what they seem and the grass is rarely greener on the other side.

Alexis a bonefide actress? Nah, she's got a segment on some local TV station wittering on for about 5minutes. She totally sucked, really.

Of course Alexis thinks she's the new Barbara Walters or Katie Kouric. Her coach could barely keep a straight face at that gem!

Just caught up with last night's episode. Now I'm all up to date. Tamara and whathisname, and Slimey and Gretchen all talk weddings, except given Slade's money issues, Gretchen most definitely doesn't want to get married as she'd be responsible for half his debts! Sensible girl.

Slade cracked me up when having been shown a $0.5m ring and another one carat mionstrosity (he took Heather with him for advice as she's the only one who doesn't know his past -somehow I cant see Heather watching the Ho Wives in the past ) and asked the jeweller if he could buy the setting and substitute a fake gem.

Part 3 of the Vicki/Brianna bust up. Brianna made her feelings about douchebag Brooks' past, after googling him and thinks V is lonely and desperate for attention. ( *sigh* Brianna, you are 25 years old, a smart, well rounded individual which is little short of a miracle given that you're Vicki's offspring) she has always had to be the centre of attention.

I really wish V had any normal emotions. Cant she see that Donn and B were really close, he's the nearest to a dad she's ever known. Besides V's still married. Brianna has been doing some snooping around and found the relationship with Brooks started while, ostensibly, she was very much married to Donn. She's still grieving for Donn and cant believe Vicki was so quick to get a boyfriend. One minute she was happily married to Donn, or so it was made to appear, the next Donn's being divorced and this suspect man is taking his place.
But when did Vicki ever care about other people's emotions? Brianna has had 3 years of unimaginable stress with her suspect thyroid. Thinking you have cancer makes you want to live every day to the max.I would totally do the same, but Vicki's too wrapped up in her own life to care about her children. Words are cheap and if I hear one more time how "everything is for my kids" I shall scream.

Brianna thinks the whole situation is pathetic ( I agree) and an almighty bust up occurred.I'll have to watch it again, because I didn't take it in the first time.

This is vintage OC. I really think Bravo must be rubbing their hands in glee. I bet the ratings are leaping up.

The thing about Vicki is that she comes across as quite religious and self righteous, but when she gets tipsy or doesn't get her own way she can get really OTT. She did raise great kids, but didn't she realise that divorcing Donn was going to be difficult for her children to get over.

I 've caught up with Tardy now and I think Kim and Briana should compare notes. Both have the mothers from hell, although in an opposite way.
Vicki wants to take complete control and woe betide anything that isn't done exactly as she says. Forget about TOWIE, in OC it's The Only Way is Vicki.

Kim's mother on the other hand, is passive agressive, She found out that Kim and Colin the wedding planner had met WITHOUT HER so fires off a text to Kim saying she's going to be ill on her wedding day so she wont be there. What a cow.

I hate to say it, but away from the other Ho's of Atlanta, Kim is a different person. She's hilarious, totally in love with Kroy and her kids and I'm loving her. That's something I thought I'd never say, but there you go. I've changed my mind. There isn't an ounce of side or bragging about herself. She just wants to marry the man of her dreams and have a fabulous wedding.

I absolutely love her talks with KJ.Whoever's idea it was to move the story along with her chatting to her baby was inspired. I usually hate babies, but he's adorable. She told him that whatever her girls or he wants to do on their wedding day, even if she hates it, she'll support them to the hilt. Awww. Luckily she's got a fabulous dad and brother. She's asked them both to give her away. But you can tell she's really upset about the way her Mother is. Why are these people so selfish and self centred?

Mother arrived for her wedding dress fitting and as Dad was there, she wont look like a cream puff, just a white lacy concoction that is still WAY inappropriate for the mother of the bride. Virginal white with ruffles. I wonder she doesn't go the whole hog and wear a tiara while she's at it.

Kroy has freaked Kim out as he's writing his own vows, something he's always wanted to do. So Kim and Jen got the wine out and sat down to think of something, but they've only got as far as Kim noting that she fell in love with his "great ass"

She's having portaloos, which, of course freaked her out, but these aren't your bog ( pun intented) standard ones. Oh no. These are the best of the best. Hell, there's even a rug outside each one and an attendant.

I wish these were hour long programmes, I'm so enjoying them.

And Im back lol Been so busy lately I havent had a chance to post on here, and I accquired a bit of a back log of OC/NJ Housewives and Tardy

Anyway, had an evening to myself (boyf is out- watching the Chelsea game) so Ive been shamelessly indulging in my reality tv fixations! Of course I come on here and find that the fabulous tally has beaten me to it! I really couldnt put it better myself anyway and agree completely with EVERYTHING said above We really are tuned to the same wavelength when it comes to the Housewives

I must say though, the OC has been on fire lately! Its been a bit of an up and down season so far for me, but the last 2 or 3 eps have really been the OC at its best and its gone right back up in my estimations.....and of course its all mostly due to Vicki and her utterly insane, control freak behaviour!

I adore Brianna, what a smart, well adjusted, NORMAL girl (God only know how with Vicki as her mum) I utterly applaud her decision to get married as far away from Vicki as she could. Would you want Vicki involved in your wedding?! The look on her face was vintage though, and her whole "She has ruined my life....I want them to have it anulled....." way to go Vicki, cos its all about YOU as per. As for when she tries to compare Briannas new hubby and Brooks I nearly dropped my wine glass! Yeah, they are so similar, one is a soldier doing his duty in Afghanistan, the other is a grifter with 4 kids and an ambiguous "job" title. Yeah, SO similar. Word to the wise Vicki, its better to have an empty "love tank" than an empty bank account, and thats whats gonna happen. Brianna is spot on about Brooks, and even Tamra can see hes a loser. At the party when he told Tamra that her son was "the bomb.com" Cringe!! Vickis son Mike also took an instant dislike, no wonder, and the way Vicki forced Brooks upon him- Please.

How random that Heather decided to go ring shopping with Slade, and I agree, its obviously as she was the only one who would! The other ladies are all way too aware of his past. Waste of time anyway as Gretchen has no interest in marrying the loser, she doesnt want to give all her money away paying off his bad debts and back-dated child support. Finally, shes showing some sense. She needs to get rid, shes gorgeous and can do so much better. Slade shopping for engagement rings was too funny though, when he asked about buying the ring and replacing the diamond for an imitation stone! The jewellers face was brilliant "we dont really do imitation stones here...." who wants diamonds when you can have a cubic zirconia right?!

Moving onto Tardy and I am just loving this show. Kim really is brilliant, and I never thought Id find myself looking forward to a show all about Kim Z, but there ya go! I was laughing so much at her helping Brielle get ready for her homecoming dance, and Kroy demonstrating that there shoud be "at least 6inches of air" between her and her date when dancing was so cute. Its really lovely how good he is with Kim's girls. She has done well with him. And Brielle looked gorgeous in her dress for the dance.

I loved Kim getting her "wedding wigs" ready, and Derek Js face when she asked him to cut a wig for her dog! So funny! That poor little dog in a wig bigger than it is, and Kims friend hits out with "She looks like she should be doing doggie porn"

Kims mother on the other hand, what a piece of work she is. She was totally out of line telling Kim that she would be sick on her wedding day, in a text! All this because Kim didnt want her to help choose the wedding food. Its a bit OTT. Its your daughters wedding for Gods sake.

Just got to catch up on ep 4 of NJ and ill be bang up to date!

Apologies for the long post, it may be a bit of a rehash of things tally has said already, but its SO nice to write all my thoughts out!

I'm glad everyone is agreeing that RHOC is amazing atm! It's got the right balance of drama and fun. With the last episode I've finally got to admit that I love to hate Alexis I think she is a good person but she is also very annoying but I love watching her. That princess and puppies party was so over the top (Not $60,000 worth though lol) The look on the kids faces as she was giving her speech was hysterical. Gretchen and Slade's storyline was a little dull. It's obvious that they are not going to get married until Slade pays off his child support debts and that doesn't look like it is going to happen soon.

I'm kind of in two minds over the Vicki/Brianna fight. I can totally understand that Brianna is an adult and she can do what she wants and didn't need her mothers approval. But I can also see Vicki's side that she has missed out on the wedding planning. I think if you ask most mothers, they would love to be involved in planning their daughters wedding and this was taken away from Vicki. Say what you like about her but I truly believe that Vicki does love her children and was concerned for Brianna. But Vicki being Vicki did get defensive about Brookes when Brianna did have perfectly valid concerns. Anyway Brianna actually did get married again (Probably just for her mothers sake ), and Vicki and Donn walked her down the aisle which is very sweet that he is still part of her life. Re Briana, if she was anyone's daughter but Vicki then I'd have an ounce of sympathy for her. Has she ever done anything for her that didn't involve massive payback? She so totally deserves to be left out.
Remember back when Briana was dating her high school sweetheart for years and Vicki would show up where they were, plonk herself down and totally ruin her date?
She did the same to Michael, turning up at his college dorm just as a big footie match was starting and embarrassing the crap out of him before his mates.

Or the time she bought B a car, all wrapped up in a big bow, for her birthday- and then handing over the car payment schedule for B to take over. Who does that? Gives a birthday present then tells the recipient, her only daughter, that it's up to her to keep up the payments. It's not exactly as if Vicki, unlike most of them is struggling with money.

I think the only time I've agreed with her is refusing to loan Jeanna money- that would have been a recipe for disaster.

At the moment I'm so enjoying Vicki getting her payback time. What the hell does she see in Brook?. Apart from being a poor imitation of Donn in the looks department, he's a shyster. Vicki is famous and richish. And so this slimeball is suddenly there trying to say all the right things? Mahoosive fail, he gives me the creeps, even more than Slimey.
If you need that to "make your love tank full" ( what a gross expression) then I'd rather mine was empty.

Sassy, I was so carried away with Kim's Mother, I forgot Kroy's interaction with the girls. Brielle obviously adores him and "yes" his words of wisdom re the prom were really caring.
Long may it last. Though there's many a panic attck awaiting in the 4 weeks left before the wedding. Kim doesn't do calm.

Hey Lovemuffins (Yes Im channelling Kim Z here.......I apologise!)

I love, love, love Tardy for the wedding. And Dare I say, I rather love Kim aswell Just caught up with the latest (thanks tally) and Kim is trying to write her own vows....I SO much at that, her friend Jens suggestion for what Kim should write was brilliant. Not sure I can repeat it on here, but suffice to say it involves Kims reaction to seeing Kroys "tight ass" Brilliant I loved little Adrianna trying to help aswell, and her little strut out of the room was great. Kims girls are wonderful.

Shopping for port-a-loos was also on the menu, she took her hairstylist Derek J with her, and he was strutting around in his high heels while Kim stuck to her ugg boots. A man after my own heart, never an occasion when you cant wear a fab pair of heels! As tally has said the toilets Kim chose are no mere outside loos, they are mini bathrooms with hardwood floors, marble counters and an attendant! Of course.

And then along comes Kims mother to try on wedding outfits. I dont even know what to say about she chose to wear, well, its not my taste anyway, but hey ho! Kims still fuming from the text she sent her (and rightly so) so mamma Kim gives the most insincere apology ever and even bursts out laughing. But hey, she brought a gift basket so apparently thats ok then.

Roll on next week, and Kandi is making an appearance! Id love for Phaedra to show up, but I guess we propably wont see her until the wedding itself.

It is a bit of a borefest at the moment. It's gang up on Tre time, but you'll see Sassy, kimkam and myself's opinions on the 4 episodes that have aired inthe US further back in the thread.

We're currently enthralled by the latest OC and Kim's wedding ( Kim from Atlanta) Both are fabulous.

For some reason ITV2 are showing season 5 of RHOC again. Watching the one where Briana is getting ready for her Prom it is even more noticeable how Vicki is so controlling and wants her own way, Bri's date wants to wear a white tux, but no, according to Vicki it's gong to be black. Who's Prom is it Vik??!!
