I agree with you about NJ. Nothing really happened this week or for weeks in fact. That is if you don't count the typical bitching about Tre by bulldog Caroline & Jacqueline but then that's happened for quite some time now. I know this show has always been special because of all the family connections but why do we have to be subjected to so much airtime of Caroline's offspring? I just don't find them particularly interesting. At first I was thinking maybe Tre had been feeding stories to the press but now I just think what business is it of anyone's how she's making her money? Jacqueline seems to think it's her God given right to know every minute detail of Tre's life. Including her finances? I don't think so love.

I agree about Gretchen's "look" but then again, she's always had that pageant princess thing down to a tee. Tamra has never more resembled a cross between a Barbie doll and a robot at this point. It's quite scary how the only part of her face that moves is her mouth and there's never really anything nice coming out if it.

These shows used to give me light relief from the stresses of work but now they just stress me out. 'Tis a shame but I suspect ever since Andy Cohen's career really took off, his attention towards these shows has waned and the quality has sunk to new lows.

Ive read your comments tally and sooty and I dont really have much to add. Im really struggling with NJ, I want to enjoy it the way I used to, but really its all just a bit "blah" at the min isnt it? :yawn: Its the same old every week, hating on Tre, Caroline being an utter cow, etc etc.

I felt bad for that poor girl Albie introduced to his mother, that poor girl should run for the hills. Caroline had a face on her like she was sucking lemons as per, and Lauren is a deep shade of green. I do agree with what Albie said, even if theres nothing wrong with her, Caroline et all will find something. So true!

How random that J.Lo's ex hubby turns up on NJ! He was the chereographer that was "working" with Melissa. From Jennifer Lopez to Melissa indeed. How did he get so lucky! Anyways Melissa is performing at some festival, meanwhile Gia is auditioning to dance at the same show? Im assuming thats one of those Bravo coincidences

Moving over to NY, I had high hopes for the London jaunt, but well, it was all a bit uneventful wasnt it? Heather had a few meetings, appeared on Lorraine Kelly and wore some hideous glasses. Luann was as pretentious as ever, and OMG at that accent she kept attempting to speak in. Its not funny, or entertaining Lu. At all.

Ive got to say Im really liking Carole, of all the new ladies she is my fave. Luann is really starting to grate on her aswell
Carole has realised Luann is the queen of one up manship, Carole lived in London- Ooh so did Lu! Get a grip woman.
I loved Caroles face at Heathers dinner when she wanted them all to stand up and say their name and give an affirmation about "Yummie" She wasnt for playing. Of course, Luann was only too happy to stand up and say her bit!

Meanwhile back in NY Ramona is her usual, mental self. Her reaction to Avivas fake leg was a bit ridiculous to be honest. And is it me, or does Ramona just seem eternally smashed this season? I swear she has a problem. maybe Jill wasnt so far off the mark last year after all!

I havent had a chance to catch the first part of the OC reunion yet, but I might watch it later.

I caught up with The OC reunion last night, but it was a bit late when it finished, I dont really know what to say about it to be honest. All they did was shout at each other for most of it. I agree with sootysoo- they rehash the entire season, picking apart every little thing each other said and did and basically just show us that clearly the only reason these women spend any time with each other is because they are contractually obliged!

Alexis seemed to take most of the heat in part 1, its quite clear none of them like her, honestly, I dont either, but I do think new girl Heather has jumped into the mean girl spirit of this show with a bit too much relish.

What I will say is that I do kinda think its a shame that things have gone so wrong with Vicki and Tamra. Im not a fan of Vickis but I always felt that out of all of them she and Tamra had a genuine friendship. And I still dont get the BFF thing with Gretchen and Tamra personally I preferred when they were hating each other

I did at the whole bird incident lol how random. Im sure it flew out of that horrendous hairdo of Tamra's lol Andy's face was a picture!

And what the hell did Tamra and Gretchen look like?! there are no words!

So part 2 next week and then we are done with The OC for another year. I can see there being a bit of a casting shakeup if it gets a season 8- Im sure it wil, the ratings have been great this season from what Ive heard.

I wonder whats coming next? NY is still early into its new season, and NJ is about halfway through Id imagine. Im guessing season 2 of Miami? though I dont see it starting until NJ is finished, or at least at the end of its season.

It's been a while since I posted but I will try and keep it brief about each show lol

RHOV - The reunion was okay, the host didn't really ask the right questions but he did okay for his first time and any reunion without Andy would seem strange I think lol and its disappointing that Ronnie is back on Jody's side. I hope Christina does come back next season but I don't think she will

RHOC - The first part of this reunion was great I thought. It kind of sets things up great for Season 8, but I don't know if Alexis will come back. Even though I don't like her she is very entertaining to watch But with Brianna and Brooks on next week everyone look set to fight!


RHONJ - I agree with everyone, this season is a dud Teresa and Caroline are both horrible and I don't really care about Laurens weight or who's Rosies dating (As much as I like Rosie)

RHONY - This season is a real slow burner lol Not much is happening at all, they spent longer talking about who's invited to London then they have there. I'm loving Carole and Sonja though

and if anyone like me is interested in the rating for the housewife shows, Bravo Ratings is the place to go. They have full ratings data for all the series of the RH. For the current seasons the averages are

1. RHONJ - 2.5 million viewers (About the same as S3)
2. RHOC - 1.95 million viewers (A slight increase on S6)
3. RHONY - 1.3 million viewers (A significant drop from S4)

but in reality the real housewives are all bravo has, here is the breakdown of Bravo ratings of this week and the top 5 programs were all Housewife related

Your right though, the housewives really are Bravo's shining star, so I dont see the format going anywhere soon. I can see maybe some franchises being phased out to bring in new ones. Theres the always rumoured "Real Housewives of Dallas" which I actually think would be a great city for a housewives show. And there were rumours recently about a possible "Real Housewives of Nashville", as long as Atlanta doesnt go anywhere though now that Ive really started to love it, I dont want it going away haha

I think part 2 of The OC reunion will be good aswell. I can see tension really skyrocketing when that loser Brooks comes on. And Im looking forward to Brianna, shes the best thing about the OC housewives, and shes not even proper cast!

As long as Bravo stays away from the absolutely awful "Dallas-Divas and Daughters" and "Big Rich Texas" with the worst cast ever, then Dallas might have promise. They make the Real HoWives look like Emmy winners and the scripted rubbish is embarrassing.

Just caught up with NJ. Surprise Surprise another :yawn: of an ep, Im assuming this one was kinda filler though before it no doubt will kick off in Napa next week.

Melissa performed a Beatstock, lip-syncing her heart out. Her dancing was fine, as Tre pointed out not that Id term what she did a dance routine as such, but hey!

Gia also performed- she was dancing "slow hip hop" I liked her little performance and she looked like she was having fun.

Joe Gorga was as sleazy as ever, ughh!! He really is so off putting its ridiculous. All he talks about is unleashing his "poison" I get it, Melissa looks fantastic, but God, can he just keep some things to himself for once?!

There was also a trip to a food show in DC where Albie, Chris etc were showing off their blk water. Then Caroline, Albert and Jac turned up to try and sell some Brownstone branded sauce. Exciting times! Though they did float the idea of putting Carolines face on the sauce bottle, but quickly decided against! wise choice!

Well, I just caught up with NY. Its the "royal wars" in London as Heather called it, though Id have preferred if there had actually been a bit more war going on! Luann is clearly starting to irritate Carole with her constant one up manship! Caroles mother had 5 kids, ooh but wait, Luann can see your 5 and match you 7. This ridiculousness went back and forth with Lu of course being completely oblivious as to how irritating she is!

They go and play croquet where Lu gets all competitive, this spurs on Carole who ends up winning just to try and rile Luann. I have to say I really do like Carole, and shes certainly got the measure of grasping, social climbing Luann Shes a princess, that beats a countless "countess" any day. Lu knows shes been bettered and it grates on her Im sure!

The games continue at dinner that night where Luann is extoling all about being an "author" while Carole, an actual writer sits on watching. Heather was a gymnast apparently in school, and guess what? so was Lu! Carole hits out that she was a gymanst and on the football team. Beat that countess! She was being sarcastic of course, but this of course just flew right by Lu. Heather decides to try and broach the subject with Lu while Carole and Sonja are in the bathroom. This being Luann though she doesnt realise Heather is talking about HER behaviour- she thinks shes slating the absentee Ramona.

Back in NY now and Sonja is throwing a party for Aviva and her hubbys anniversary. Ooh Sonja, I cringed for her what the hell was that singer she hired all about?! Aviva even admitted it was a train wreck. It was all just horribly awkward. Aviva tripped and fell down the stairs though, but I liked how she handled it by making a joke about that being her "good leg" , however this is a party, so of course Ramona has to act insane, but thats par for the course. She and Heather get into it and Ramona calls her fake, unnatural and a liar. I still cant quite make up my mind about Heather, but I do like how she clearly rubs Ramona up the wrong way! I did laugh when she called Ramona a "beast" I also found it hilarious the way she kept following her around the party just to annoy her!

I've watched NJ....UGH. Can Joe Gorga get any grosser or more sleazy. Why doesn't Melissa tell him to bog off and take his sex drive with him. He's about as appealing and romantic as a deal octopus. He totally gives me the creeps. I bet he has the smallest penis in the world.

Actually this was one of the only NJ episodes (Joey sleazeball aside) that I've sort of enjoyed. I thought Melissa mimed beautifully and Gia was totally into her dancing.

Normally the kids are off limits in my criticism, but -oh dear- Tre's kids are so unfortunate with their looks. Gia and Milania will never be raving beauties. Does anyone remember the first series when Teresa was trying to pimp Gia out as an actress/model? She was just as delusional back then!

Meanwhile over on the OC Reunion, it was bash Vicki time. About time too. Sheesh that woman is a narcissistic hypocrite. GO BRIANNA. She did a wonderful hatchet job on her Mother, complete with clips of 7 years of control freak Vicki in action. Haha. Now that's a case of a brilliant way of serving your revenge cold.
Tamra managed to ladle the dirt on with the revelation to an outraged Vicki of her affairs back in the good old days. (This would be when she was renewing her marriage vows to Don?) Though if he was having an affair for 20 years of marriage, then they all deserve each other.

I rather think by S8 Vicki will have rationalised it all and will be angelically whiter than white with her morals. Will the revolting Brooks still be "protecting his woman" then? I think not.

RHONJ was just a 44 minute advert for BLK water. It was so boring!

RHONY was okay, I did love Heather chasing Ramona around the party, she can dish it but can't take it! I'm undecided about Heather but I did love that. The London trip was such a dud! They went looking for Carole's old house, went to dinner with Heathers company, went to Croquet and went to dinner again! That's it

RHOC - What a reunion! I thought it was funny how Alexis in the last episode was denying she rude to the crew and then when Gretchen started getting out her emails she snapped at the crew "Is someone getting my emails or do I have to go get them?" It's sad seeing Brookes and Vicki because I think he is playing her and it's sad that she would go against her friends and family for this guy who is a deadbeat dad and is ultimately just using her! Brianna was amazing too. I'm kinda sad this season is over. I think it's definitely been the best OC season ever imo

Just watched The OC reunion part 2 and I feel like Ive been waiting for that for 7 seasons. It was time to call Vicki out on all of her crazy, hypocritical BS And Im so glad they did! The woman needs to get a grip, and a hefty dose of reality- but I have a feeling she will get that when Brooks shows his true colours- Brianna was wonderful (by far the best thing about the OC housewives) Ooh but Vicki wasnt pleased when she started telling her mother exactly what she thinks of Brooks was she?! truth hurts Vicki. If the world and his wife can see the guy is an opportunistic loser, its time to wake up.

I think its sad that Vicki has been willing to lose friends (Tamra) and cause a divide between her and her daughter for this guy. Vicki says Brooks isnt a wedge between her and Brianna seriously, shes that delusional. Thankfully Brianna spelt it out to her in no uncertain terms.

I kinda loved when Tamra dished the dirt on Vicki regarding affairs and her less than flattering behaviour. Vicki is a total hypocrite, after the way she and Tamra hounded Gretchen for years about her behaviour, and all the while Vicki is no saint. I was surprised about Donn though, but agree with tally- if thats the case they all deserve each other.

Ill be very interested to see what season 8 is like. Im not really sure if Vicki and Tamra can recover from all thats gone on, and I think itll certainly be an interesting new dynamic between them all now.

I agree kimkam, I think this has been the best season yet of OC, funnily enough I wasnt loving it at the beginning of the season, but when it kicked in it really didnt stop!

Real Housewives of Miami is back in September! I know a lot of people were not fans of the first season but Im glad it's been given another chance and I know I'll be watching when it comes back

Dare I say it, this actually looks good!! Season 1 was a mess, but they seem to have learned from that, judging by the sneak peek. I hope it is good this time, I totally think Miami has potential. So glad they got rid of that wannabe Cristy, and also Larsa.

Adrianna was the stand out for me last season, and I dont think she will be boring at least. I think she is really gonna bring it this time! She was brilliant on the season 1 reunion, and Im sure thats what got this a second season. Im quite looking forward to this starting now!

Does anyone know if they plan on showing any rho on freeview other than what they have already? I watch oc and ny every day even though ive seen pretty much all the ones here! Not sure what series we are up in the uk but i know we are a few years behind.

I think oc is my fav although vicki really bugs me by how controlling she is of her kids!

Bit late getting around to watching this week, but Ive just caught up with NY and NJ.

NY We start out with Ramona having a lunch to hear about the goss from London, she is hoping they will all be hating on Heather, but I think was pleasantly surprised that its Luann who is the hot topic instead Carole just doesnt like her at all, and Sonja is annoyed because Luann walks into places ahead of her?! They are all SO grown up! Aviva invites Sonja to join her and Ramona on their Miami trip, and it turns out Carole will be there aswell. Bravo coincidence anyone?! Aviva wants to set Sonja up with her dad, who she herself describes as a sex addict!

Luann and Jac have a wine tasting event where they blindfold you and have you guess the notes in the wine and rate the taste. Did anyone else laugh when Ramona took her turn, she wasnt thrilled with the wine- the twist being it was her own "ramona pinot" Not recognising your own wine?! Not good Ramona. Lu totally set that up, but I found it hilarious! Of course Ramona went on to guess the scent of all the other samples, mind you she would, Ramona guzzles the pinot like we breathe air!

In Miami, we meet Avivas dad, hes incredibly creepy and even staes that if Aviva wsnt his daughter he would "have a go" Eww!! We also met Avivas mother in law, and she didnt seem that impressed by daddy aviva either! Their Miami appartment is gorgeous though, and very white! Ramona remarks that Aviva must be lying about her fear of heights, otherwise she couldnt live in a place like that! later on at dinner, Aviva totally stirs the sh*t and tries to stir up trouble with Ramona and Luann, she says that Lu setting ramona up at the wine tasting was horrible, mean, spiteful etc and she thinks Ramona should have it out with her, however Ramona just wants to let Luann "be who she is" We know that wont last long before hurricane Ramona hits!

Oh, and did anyone else laugh when Lu and Heather were having their eyebrows done, Heather sat there and barely flinched, while Luann started yelping and screaming practically before the woman even touched her! There was a strange satisfaction to be had in seeing Lu so uncomfortable!

NJ This week it was the husbands doing the bitching! Chris invites the guys over in the hopes of clearing the air- and propably coming up with a battle plan, before the trip to Napa. Juicy Joe was late as per, so the others had plenty of time to bitch about him. Of course they literally start firing off insults as soon as he arrives, Juicy Joe has a pointless argument with Joe Gorga over tools that he borrowed and never gave back. Unlike Joe Gorga, Juicy Joe returns everything he borrows. Though Im guessing not money, hence the bankruptcy! These two are totally as bad as each other.

Melissa is doing a photoshoot and Joe Gorga declares that he told her to "act like a porn star" he loves that other guys want her, but cant have her. He "owns" her you see Hes vile! Ughh!

Caroline is being a bitch as per. She declares that Tre is driving Juicy Joe to the point of despair, and that when he goes to jail she will divorce him, write a book and milk it for all its worth. Seriously, all she does, infact all most of them do is bitch about Tre, it gets really old. I remember the days when I used to like Caroline!

Kathy also manages to annoy Tre by saying how the recipes in Tres books are just like her mothers! That is a red rag to a bull with Tre and she says kathy is just being passive agressive. I dont really think Kathy meant it like that, and they are family after all, their mothers propably have loads of similar recipes. Anyway Tre manages to get a dig of her own in. She attends Kathys dessert tasting and snipes that its fine, but it looks like something her kids would put together for their lemonade stand! You see Tre's book signings are "classy affairs" now! Yes, she said that herself!

You gotta love Tre and her epic mouth though, she also managed to get in a dig about NY's Bethenny and her skinnygirl cocktails! Tre is launching her own the "fabellini" and she wants it to be low fat, but not taste like it, "like skinnygirl, it tastes diet-y" Oh Tre
