Im a bit confused about brooks now. For a start i was against him because he seemed creepy but brianas reaction was over the top so now i feel a bit sorry for him.

I did find it odd how he took vicki for a meal and bought up the subject of what is she getting from the divorce and the way he wowed at everything in her small house. Makes me think hes interested in her money. Like briana said he has a family in mississipi so why is he in oc all the time?

I was a bit annoyed by tamras reaction to brianas marriage saying it will be a mistake and was rushed. Just because her marriages have all failed it doesnt mean brianas will. Similar response from vicki. Brianas in her twenties not a love struck teenager!

I did think vicki was out of order when she cornered briana to meet brooks by saying im supportive of you so you have to be supportive of me! Especially when shes been slagging her off behind her back to the camera every chance she gets. It seems anything anyone does vicki has to one up it. She seemed like she wanted briana to meet brooks as revenge for getting married not because she wants them to meet.

I'm a fan of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. My mum prefers the Beverly Hills series.

Google Brooks and you'll see what an opportunist gold digger of the male variety he is. Brianna is spot on. He's Slimey only older, and a dead beat dad. Ironic how Vicky couldn't keep her mouth shut when Slade was the same, but Brooks is perfect.
When your friends and family hate your beau, when he hasn't got a job or any money, the old Vicky would have had warning bells clanging, but this is Vicky Mark 2, who needs to show that she's desirable even in middle age. To put this cretin over your family is repulsive. But, as I keep saying, Karma's a bitch. It couldn't happen to a better qualified smug cow.

Onto this weeks NY and NJ. I'll start with NY as it's the one I've just watched.
Aviva is certifiably crazy, which makes a change from Ramona who seems moderately sane this episode. It annoyed me how fake and staged their brunch was. If they were going at it hammer and tongue as shown, in a real restaurant, all the diners would be open mouthed listening to it all. Instead they all looked like paid extras moving their lips in fake conversation and ignoring Aviva and Ramona. I hate when Bravo do that, I know a lot of it is scripted, but dont make it so obvious.
The way they argue cracks me up. Ramona never shuts up so how she can hear the insults that Aviva is throwing at her is a mystery to me. I think Aviva plays on her prosthetic. Heck woman, watch the Paralympics, see what can be achieved by people much more disabled and shut the hell up.
A lot of us have suffered panic attacks at some time in our lives, but guess what? it's treatable. Get some Cognitive Behavioural therapy! I think it's her crutch- no pun intended. She has to be supported 24/7. Ugh, I've gone off her big time.
And to send her lecherous, repulsive father to Ramona's fund raiser to give money and get an apology from her was just so OTT and wrong. (The bit with him in the herbalists was just yuk. )
I never thought I'd ever stick up for Ramona, but this week I was totally with her.
I also felt really sorry for Sonja. Wealth and being a socialite cant exclude genuine emotion. I think Sonja's still very much in love with her ex, and was so hurt after the solicitors meeting. Why isn't he paying child support. After all he's got squillions, and isn't he really old, like in his late 70's or something, Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Lu was just in a supporting role this week, as was Heather and Carole, so not much to go on there. I do think Carole is a fence sitter though- something you could never accuse Ramona of being.
I cant believe it's the finale next week and in true HoWives style, it looks to be a belter. Cant wait.

And so to the end (bar the not-to-be-missed Reunion shows) of NJ. Hopefully we're seeing the last of Caroline and Jaq and they wont be back. Jaq annoys the hell out of me with her passive aggressive thing, while Caroline is just a total bitch.

I loved TWOP's summary "This season on Masterpiece Classics presents The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Everyone hated Teresa for TWENTY EPISODES. The end" Sort of sums it up really.

But it all goes horribly wrong for Tre when, after she and Melissa, still saying she doesn't know baldy guy, says she worked in a bikini bar or something and guys paid $100 bills when she served them. Hmmm, why do I think a strip joint by any other name? Not that I would think anyone would give a toss if she had been a stripper (except the little runt who thinks he owns her and she's there to have sex with him whenever he feels like it....EWWWWK!)
Unfortunately Baldy guy doesn't realise he's miked and can be heard saying Tre and Kim D knew Melissa was a stripper and this was a set up. Meanwhile Jaq keeps getting texts rom someone and shares them with the evil coven of Caroline and Lauren. Later on she confronts Teresa and that's the end of that friendship. I'm still reeling that Jaq decided to do something on her own and not let Caroline or anyone else tell her what to say, do or think.

Melissa decides that she neds to call little Joey Way to start a fight girl. By the end of the evening, with the unexplained arrival of Juicy's brother-in-law . Verbal though not physical threats are screeched back and forth, the word "scum" is used a lot and everyone except Tre leaves the fashion show swearing they are done with her and cutting her out of their lives.

Cut to the Reunion where noone has talked to Tre for a year. Tre is in full on defensive mode-she really is getting flack from this lot- I wonder if anything gets thrown this Reunion? There are tables and chairs capable of being used to vent Tre's wrath! We shall see.

I know it isn't a Real Housewives show, but did anyone catch Mob Wives earlier this year?

Yeh that's what i thought When Tamra said she was 5 (it looks like more to me) years older and had 4 kids and telling Eddie that he could do such much better, i was thinking 'yes you could' One thing about Tamra unlike the others is that she has kept her 3 young children away from the show. I dunno about Tamra and Eddie, sometimes I think they are sweet together, other times it all looks a bit strained and false. He seems very excepting of everything she does, she does talk sense and then she will do or say something that makes you think 'bitch'.

Today OC was great car crash TV. Like yesterday's show WTF was that about Oh dear god Alex explaining to a group of 4 year old about the birth of the twins, so random she really is stupid. Puppies and Princess's party, oh dear god how naff and gross was that. Poor animals, this should not be allowed.

I can't help but like Slade and feel sorry that he does try so hard to do the right thing but he ain't got the money. I am sure he loves Gretchen and that she loves him but the debt thing will be the ruin of them. Shame really. The look on the jewellers face when Slade asked if he could swap the diamond for a fake stone oh dear.

Heather glad that she didn't get the acting job cause she can now look after the kids and run her restaurant, unbelievable. Must admit that with all Heather's husband wealth he seems the most grounded and 'normal' person that has ever been on the housewife series?

Vicki, oh dear this is going from bad to worse. Vicki is quite lucky that Briana run off to marry a bloke that she is not happy with as it gives her the perfect excuse to deflect that Briana is quite right for being concerned that her mother is going out with the creep Brooks. So lucky that Vicki can turn the problem back to Briana to say she is not happy with what she has done. Aaaah BUT now we find out that Vicki was having a love tank topped up (cringe) whilst she was still with Don, naughty Vicki, best you run away from the discussion with Briani before she gives anymore away.

I think that is exactly why she did it. It's similar to when she apologised to Gretchen about the argument they had at the 80s party; as soon as Vicki apologised she made it perfectly clear that the apology came with the condition that Gretchen had to apologise as well.

As far as Vicki is concerned, only both parties (or the other person) can be at fault if there has been tension/arguments. Vicki can never accept herself being in the wrong.

If she can't have the moral high ground, then nobody else can.

I really hope vicki isnt having sex with brooks, how hypocritical would that be! Remember when she wouldnt let briana be alone with guys because vicki doesnt believe in sex before marriage? Or does being legally married to one man make it morally right to have sex with another?

Im convinved after watching yesterdays show vicki is mad at briana not because she got married but because vicki couldnt pay for it therefore couldnt have any say in it. So according to vicki not only is sex before marriage wrong but you can only get married if its big expensive and all the family, including brooks, are there!

Vicki says to everyone she has to support briana yet she goes round her house trying to guilt and bully her into liking brooks and when briana stands her ground vicki attacks her and ryan! Briana was spot on when vicki was saying for the first time shes happy as she did say that with don and her ex otherwise why did she marry them?

I cant see gretchen and slade lasting. In the clip we saw of them at counselling slade is so blase about the debt and really hes sticking his head in the sand. Like gretchen said hes had three years and done nothing so far. He needs an independantly paying job rather than following gretchen round. And why is she so desperate to marry him so they can have a baby? Cant they just have the baby without being married?

Does anyone notice on these shows that the person who says things like ''I don't want any drama'' is usually the one who causes the drama!

Im actually now wondering whether vicki is an opportunist as well! Looking at it realistically her kids are grown up and moved out, don lives with his new partner so its just vicki and her money. Now there is a new rich housewive and the others have things going on in their lives wheras vicki doesnt. She needs brooks to get air time otherwise i feel she may have been axed.
