What a busy thread we have again! Glad everyone has gotten to see Season 5 of NY Housewives now- but why are they not showing the reunion shows?! Thats so random. The reunions are one of the best things about a housewives season. tally is right though, the season 5 reunion was pretty tame. It wasnt anything like the fireworks you would have expected, and even Aviva conducted herself well I thought No doubt Aviva lost the plot about halfway through the season, but she slightly improved herself in my estimation on the reunion. Showing the NY reunion round about the same time as the season 4 reunion of NJ didnt help though, the NJ reunion was 3 hours of total insanity! Craziest reunion yet I think, of any franchise.

I see ITV2 are showing the DC Housewives now? Thats strange, it only lated a season and then it was cancelled by Bravo. Its not as bad as people say though, I quite liked it and it was way better than season 1 of Miami. I enjoyed the English woman, Cat? I think her name was. And there was another I liked, but her name totally escapes me! DC had Michaele, she and her husband were total loons, and they made headlines round the world for the infamous "white house crashing" To give her props, you still hear from her on the gossip websites, and shes still a fruitloop it seems!
I was kinda surprised DC didnt get a season 2 to be honest, especially when they gave Miami another shot.

speaking of, Im still loving season 2 of Miami , and Im SO going to miss it when its over. Does anyone know how many eps we have left this season? Ive heard they just shot the reunion so we must be nearing the end of the season. Please Bravo give them a season 3, Im LOVING it!!
I caught up with last weeks ep, and I totally fell in love with Frederics parents, how fabulous were they?! His mother is so elegant, and she knew Dior personally! 50 years they have been together, and Adriana threw a beautiful dinner party for them. I loved her coming out at the end in her Carnival outfit, as she said, she had to bring some Brazilian flavour!
I really didnt love Lisas mother in law, she was a nightmare, and all that talk of grandkids was just making Lisa feel worse. I adore Lisa, I really do. Shes fab and I like her hubby aswell.
Tonights ep should be good, looks like Karent is going to get a reality check regarding Rodolfo, it looks like hes cheating on her, and I really wouldnt be surprised at all.

Just got this weeks Atlanta, and BH to catch up on. Looking forward to Atlanta and Kim making her exit. Nene will be thrilled to bits that shes gone!

Currently on season 2 of NJ - i love it! Wish ITV2 would show it too! (Although i do love OC and NYC, i can see they can be quite tame at times in comparison)

Watched both reunions online. I enjoyed them. Understand that this is tame in comparison to NJ but I'm still on catch up with that, still on series 3.

Luann still denies that she slept with Johnny Depp, but did admit that she did bring him back to the house but they only had 'drinks', she said she lied about the Italians and that she was sorry, Jacques believed her and they are still together.

Sonja and that damn toaster thingy was mentioned again, she again managed to piss Heather off, as even when pressed by Andy Cohen she still wouldn't express her gratitude for what she had done and to make matters worse she showed Heather some logos that she liked that were sent to her by viewers telling Heather that she liked them better and was annoyed that she was pressurised to go with Heather's idea's -- unbelievable Sonja is selling her house in France (lucky for her) to help pay her debts and is now talking to her ex about her settlement. Her dog has passed away - she cried, that was sad.

Heather didn't get much of a reunion thingy except for the toaster oven rubbish.

Carol still to cool for school. Only really mentioned the Luann and getting freebie dresses from her friend, Luann said it was not how it was portrayed. Viewers wrote in and said that Carol should speak to Luann if she had a problem with her and the one upmanship thingy, Carol said she didn't do anything wrong as she is 'nice'. The most interesting thing we found out about Carol is that she went out with George Clooney -- god that woman is so perfect and annoying - yep so bloody cool.

Obviously the big talking point was how Aviva was a total bitch to Ramona. Andy read out letters basically telling her how, for someone who wanted to be treated normal she made a very good job of mentioning her disability at every moment and that she was a total hypocrite. She said that she had watched her behaviour and she realised that she was wrong and apologized to Ramona and Sonja. Ramona was not having any of it as apparently even after the show she and her husband were slagging Ramona off on twitter, her blog and the press. The show ended on Andy asking if the reunion had resolved the issues between them as she had apologised, Ramona said no. To be honest I don't blame her, Aviva is nasty.

Ain't it so annoying how we can't all watch all of the series at the same time.

I liked Aviva in the beginning, but now her and her dads attitude makes my blood boil!!! The same way kelly used to pick on Alex, the woman is crazy.

I totally changed over this latest series..didnt like heather to begin with or Carole..but then loved them..i have soft spot of Luann..have ever since the beginning..can see her faults but just love her...Mixed feelings on Aviva..I kind of get where she was coming from on the whole arguments and agree with her to an extent..but wish she had her say then let it go..thats where she went wrong.

I miss Jill and Kelly...did not miss Alex..never ever took to her or Simon their voices grated on me and I just always felt sorry for their young boys like they had everything money wise that their parents wanted for them...but had zero childhood,fun and attention..dont even think Alex or Simon have any idea what their childrens interests are..they are just forced to do what mummy and daddy want them to..hate that.

Heather seems the most balanced and normal person..Carole..whilst too cool for school had a caring side to her..protective over George..that incident with Ramona I found very difficult and uncomfortable to watch when she asked him to be removed..he made a mistake asking for ramona to apologise there and then..but he was hurt for his daughter when he heard Ramona speaking about her..

I think Heather was there to advertise her company and played the show quite well, she got enough airtime without personally looking bad in all the fights.

I wondered if Luann and Jacques relationship was fake to keep her interesting for the show, it all seems very odd making a big announcement they wanted a baby, but another time saying they had been trying for a year and didn't she say Tomas was her friends Cat partner.

It's really weird that ITV 2 didn't show the RHONY reunion. It is one of the most tame reunions ever but they're still good to watch I don't know if I'm allowed to do this but here some links for the episodes that didn't air

Miami this week was quite sad, but as a group of women they are the best behaved of all the franchises, besides being sexier with their gorgeous Latino accents. I felt sorry for Karent but thought she handled it with dignity and restraint. Are you taking this method of reaction in, Teresa? How funny was Adrianna packing so much luggage but forgetting her passport. Who needs so much makeup it has it's own suitcase?

I loved Atlanta, again. Phaedra's hats are always something else. I spent the entire episode thinking they were going to Antigua and were mispronouncing it. I've never heard of Anguilla, so there you go, it's official, the Howives are educational. Who knew.
Kim certainly leaves with a bang. A multitude of swearing and bashing the camera. Darling, if you're getting a spin off show then you might want to keep on the right side of Bravo's cameramen and crew. As they say in America, Just saying. Nene, as ever, cracked me up with her parting words " free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, we are free at last " ROTFL
Why are Peter and Cynthia renewing their vows? Of all the marriages, that's the one I'd put my money on failing. He's too old and a leach on her money. Oh well, another reason to spend gazillions in these cash strapped times.
So Phaedra gracefully accepted she was wrong about not swearing. I loved the aplomb with which Cynthia deleted her evidence.

Over in BH I cant make up my mind about Yolande. She's probably the sanest, with Lisa, but is she a bit of a killjoy with the no alcohol and health regime? Lovely to see Camille again and loved their golf cart races.
Kyle is getting on my last nerve, sanctimonious cow. I think she's really toxic with Kim and resents not having control of her, she's chanelling Caroline Manzo, which is NOT a good thing. Cant stand the woman although I liked her during S1. I hope Ken is alright. there's nothing mentioned in her blog. Ken is as much a part of BH as Giggy is.
Kim is still sooooo fragile. I fear for her sobriety, but really hope she can keep going. Just stay away from dodgy men and Kyle.
Taylor, there are no words. Let Brandi publish a book and she's right, you wrote yours in indecent haste. Methinks the only thing you care about is money and social prestige. You cant make a purse out of a sow's ear, so guess you're never going to achieve it.
As for Adrienne. I know this is just pre divorce, but she's changed so much she confused me. I'm always going to be on Lisa' side ( Love her) so if she leaves next season I wouldn't be sorry. She brings nothing to the table.

Oh well. I'm going to have to wait a couple of days for my HoWives fix. I love that there are 3 franchises airing at the same time. All I need now is a second season of Vancouver.

I'm completely becoming addicted to Atlanta - it's so fun. This season is the first one I'm watching properly but I've seen an odd episode here and there and the reunion shows. Phaedra and Nene are definitely my favourites. I never warmed to Kim at all so her departure is no skin off my nose. I did find it funny however, when she was stressing out over moving house when she has hired help to do everything and already has the town house to move into! It's not as if she was going to be left homeless. All she does is wander around her kitchen swearing at her assistant! I could understand the other girls' frustrations when Kim started coming up with excuse after excuse as to why she couldn't go on the upcoming trip. So she says she's 8 months pregnant... but has another 8 weeks of the pregnancy to go?! ... Oooookay!

Over in BH now - Brandi is still by far my favourite in this one. She always calls out people on things they do although her delivery isn't the best. I do find it hilarious how ''shut the f*** up'' caused a stir and all the others acting as if she'd done something so awful! As ever it was Lisa who spoke sense - was the F word really such a big deal in the grand scheme of things? Anyway, after that awkwardness the girls have loads of fun and get drunk. I'm not quite sure what to make of Yolanda either. I really don't think she gets what the show's about yet. Someone needs to pull her to one side and tell her that to be relevant on a show like this she has to not slope off to bed by herself and not look at the drama unfolding from a distance.

I emailed ITV2 to ask why they didn't show the NY reunion, they just said they couldn't but they will show it next year and they are trying to get the rights to show ALL the housewives series! They said BH starts in the new year. Good news for people like me who missed the first couple of series of a lot of them.

Ok, so Atlanta was great fun this week. And the wig is gone! Honestly, I dont think ill miss her, Kim didnt add much to the show the last couple of seasons and she seems totally checked out the last season or so, the few times she has been around this season Ive found her attitude AWFUL. That said, she has grown on me, especially from the first season when I couldnt stand her. She left in typical Kim style, swearing, yelling, pushing cameramen agree with tally if she wants to keep that spin-off, it may be time to rethink how she treats the crew!

I completely understood all the ladies frustrations with her though. My God the woman has an excuse for everything and I doubt she would know truth if it came up and slapped her first shes going on the trip, then its well, ill ask my doctor. Then shes not going cos shes 8months pregnant, but suddenly she has 2 months of pregnancy left?! Honey, make up your mind- pick a script and stick to it!
Nene was thrilled and I loved her "free at last" whem Kim went! Phaedra and her hat, where was she going, brunch or church?! I adore her. Kandi invited Kenya on the trip Oh she will regret that, that woman is all kinds of crazy, but I loved how Cynthia refused to invite her. Im really liking Cynthia more and more, but Im a bit dubious of this vow renewal in Anguilla?? that hubby of hers is shady and she needs to run for the hills. Cynthia is stunning, she wont find it hard to get another man. I like the new girl Porscha aswell, she seems sweet, totally ditzy, but shes cute and I so much when she said "265 days a year" Nene of course summed it up, "265 days? Where the hell that bitch live at?!"

BH was a fun ep aswell, and I loved them out having fun on the golf carts and getting drunk and being silly. Brandi and Lisa are my shining lights in this, I adore them. I love the way Brandi calls people out and how she does it. The whole thing with the Shut the F up comment was so stupid, you would think she had done someting awful, and it was Adriennes fault anyway, screaming across the dinner table that Kim was crying. Id have told her to shut it aswell. Im really losing patience with Adrienne, I used to love her, but Im not feeling her at all this season. And she owes Lisa a much bigger, and more sincere apology! I have to agree about Yolande, she seems nice enough, but she seems a bit too sane and normal for this show. She wont last long if she continues the way she is going. Im glad we are still seeing Camille, but I miss her as a main "housewife" I hope she comes back full time next season. Next ep looks good with Brandi and Adrienne going at it again.
Ooh and I agree, Kyle is as toxic and awful as she was last season. Im so over her. I feel for Kim, Im glad she seems to be getting herself together, but she needs to get far away from her sister!

This is great news! I cant understand why ITV2 started showing DC when it was axed ages ago. As Ive said though, its not as bad as it was made out to be.
They need to get showing Atlanta, its the best and I cant understand why they havent yet. They are missing a trick. Also, Vancouver was brilliant aswell. I think you guys would love it. Speaking of, that must be coming back for season 2 soon right?

I hope they show NJ, that would make me so happy! However I don't think they will because of the language and fighting because after all that is a bit much for day time TV.. apparently.

So I watched the last two eps of Beverly Hills and I LOVE it! Brandi, Lisa & Kim are my faves. Not sure if Kim was crying because she was happy or sad or whatever. She seems really nice though. Lisa is just amazing, I love how she tried to defend Brandi even though that b*tch kyle was shutting her down. Love Brandi she really is something else, especially the 'shut the **** up' line, the women were acting as if she started a food fight or through a drink..ridiculous women. Not sure about Taylor yet, thought her and Brandi were going to start fighting when they were on the floor!
I don't get Camille if shes not a housewive why is she always there? theres no difference from her being a friend or main cast really. Looking forward to the next ep though!

Im surprised ITV2 havent shown NJ aswell. They should, the first 3 seasons of NJ are fab. I only enjoyed some of season 4, it was just so toxic and nasty for me. And the whole "everyone hate on Tre" thing gets really old. They need to get Atlanta for sure, and maybe season 2 of Miami? I LOVE it, and its a million times better than season 1.

Talking of NJ though, Im kind of dreading season 5, I just feel they need to make big changes to the cast. I dont see how, or why they would want to continue with the way things are now. But from things Ive been hearing it seems all the ladies are coming back. Caroline really needs to go badly, and she can take Jac with her- she clearly cant cope being on the show anymore. Kathy, well I dont mind her, but she isnt exactly bringing anything to the show is she? They wont get rid of Tre or Melissa, but they need to bring in some new blood and friends for Tre. As for the rumours about Danielle returning, Im glad they seem to be false. Dont get me wrong, Id watch avidly but Danielle was just too crazy and I think it would make the show worse.

Completely agree Sassy about NJ getting toxic. Apparently theres two new housewives and they're both Tre's best friends and she really needs someone on her side or season 5 will be worse than season 4. I agree about Jac needing to go, she clearly isn't coping after her season 3 breakdown and it's one thing to film a reunion for a day but an entire season? She'll have another breakdown and that's just not good for her or her son. I want Caroline to stay for the simple reason I love seeing Tre get under her skin. I honestly think season will either go down the 'we hate tre' route again but a lot worse or it'll be tre building bridges with most of them. I really can't be bothered with her and Melissa's fall outs and make-ups though, mainly because of the men. They're just vile people.
