OC is series 6! Still not sure what series BH is.

Loved Miami ending with neither of the dodgy relationships lasting, even though they were so sure during the finale. I still dont love it in the way I loved Vancouver and Atlanta, but it's a lot better than NJ and NY.

Hi Guys, Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and has a Happy New Year when it comes

Ive just been having a Housewives catch up today. Ive just finished Miami, and I really have enjoyed this season. I agree, its not as great as Atlanta (but none of them are) but Ive found it so enjoyable, and its 100% better than season 1. I really, really hope they give it a season 3. I think it deserves it. Ive started to feel a bit sorry for Karent, I mean Ok, she is a massive famewhore and totally in denial about her man, but I felt Alexia and some of the other girls took great pleasure in showing her the pictures of Rodolfo with another girl. Of course, they get back to Miami and shes back to defending him, saying it was all a publicity stunt for his new tv show and that they are totally committed to each other. Please, hes a bigger famewhore than she is. At least she seems to have seen sense and has dumped him for good now. Its about time. The end of the finale also told us that Joanna and her man had split up, but apparently they are back together now, and from the clip Ive seen of the reunion Adriana is calling it out as a publicity stunt Im with her on that, something about Joanna and her man just isnt right.

My fave lady has to be Lisa, I adore her. And I was nearly in tears when she was telling Lea how much she wants a baby. I hope it works out for her, shes a sweetheart and I really want to see more of her. I love Adriana aswell, I know shes not everyones cup of tea, but I adore her and the things she comes out with!

Im looking forward to the reunion, it looks like its getting viscious between Adriana and Joanna, and Ana seems to have found her voice and is gunning for Lea

Onto Atlanta, and another fab episode. I loved Nene giving Kandi the info on Kenya's crazy meltdown the night before, complete with twirls Nene is perfection. Also, Kenyas faux apology to Porsha that really wasnt an apology at all, the woman is crazy, but shes fun to watch. Loving Cynthia aswell, she really has the measure of Miss Moore and shes not quiet in her opinions at all. I like this new side of her we are seeing. Shes absolutely flawless aswell, and always looks stunning. I had to laugh at Kenya and her desperation for fake boyfriend Walter to propose. She kept going on about eloping and he turns around and basically tells her its SO not happening, because really, nobody wants to marry the crazy chic! The wonderful Phaedra summed it up perfectly, "the only people desperate for a husband are the ones that have never had one"

I agree tally BH is yet another repeat, they have just repeated the series when Russell killed himself, now they are repeating another lot. Why cant we just have some new shows. I was annoyed with the NJ repeat we never got to see the reunion, plus they showed us a clip of the next episode, but failed to show the entire programme.

Sassy, invest in some earplugs before you watch the Miami reunion. Sheesh, those women may come across as classier than NJ, but a load of Latino women all trying to outscreech each other and seeing who can outswear the other, doesn't make for pleasant viewing.
What a load of fishwives they turned out to be. I dont know what it is about Miami, but I cant get emotionally invested in any of them.

Funniest line has to come from Marysol when she's asked how old her Mother is (they were discussing all their plastic surgery and how Elsa's had gone so wrong) and a look of pure amazement came over her as she said "Are you crazy?"

I just wish Andy would gag them all and let the person being asked a question answer it. It just turns into a perpetual screaming match and it aint pretty.

btw, Phaedra is expecting again. Must have been the bit of fishnet she put on in Anguilla after Kenya was ogling Apollo that refocussed his mind
I wonder if this'll be a miracle 7 month pregnancy like the first one was. That was the start of my love fest with Phaedra, trying to pass it off as a preemie birth because it didn't fit in with her wedding date. Gotta love her. I'm sure Nene will have a quick quip about that!
And Kenya will be spitting nails because she SO wants to be a Mommie. Personally Ithink she'd be the Mother from hell, I dont think anything exists in Kenya's head except herself, how she'd cope with a baby I dont know.

It's the first time ITV2 have shown it so they're showing it from the start. It is a bit annoying if you've seen them but lots of people haven't.

Sorry Jen. I lose track of which series has aired where. I wish it could be like American Idol and The X Factor US. ITV2 always show those, really close to their original American date, so you know where you are.
I think they'd have quite a reasonable audience for The Real HoWives if they were shown reguarly and consistently.

At the moment it's "hunt the programme" which if you haven't got Sky or cable.

I agree Tally. If they were aired on a regular date & time there's no reason they couldn't or shouldn't be pulling in 0.5-1.5 million per episode. Similar to the likes of TOWIE etc.

Never a truer word spoken tally. All they did was scream and swear at each other for 40 odd minutes! I cant help but feel the campaign for their season 3 contracts has begun It really was a case of "Look at me, I can scream and shout and bring the drama- Hire me!!"

So just a few thoughts:

Ana- wow, she certainly found her voice didnt she?! and how! If anyone was after that season 3 return it was her. Its like she was suddenly desperate to remain relevant to the show so she went after Lea with an axe. I liked Ana this season, she was fairly unassuming I guess, but after the reunion Im not feeling her at all. I thought her nasty little comment about Lea's son being "socially awkward" was totally out of line. What a bitch! Why must they feel the need to bring up the kids? Its beyond desperate. Also what was with the folder she kept waving around?? It was there and gone every other shot, are we supposed to assume its dirt on Lea? who knows!
I did agree with one point she made though, when Joanna and Adriana were back and forth calling each other out and screaming about the other being a bully, Ana said she wished they would stop using the term "bully" so loosely. I agree with this, and they do it on a few of the franchises, as she said a bunch of women sat around bitching about how tacky each of them is is not being a bully.

Adriana and Joanna- they really are out to get each other. All they did was scream and swear at each other and hurl threats around. Both of them should really take a look at themselves. Having said that I do find Adriana hilarious, you never know what shes going to say & I love her sly little eye rolls whenever Joanna said anything! I can totally see how her mouth gets her into troyble though! theres no filter lol
Joanna said Adriana was begging to be served, in my opinion Joanna is begging for another slap! Shes a gorgeous girl, but shes a nasty piece of work aswell. I agree with Adriana's assessment of Joanna and Romains relationship. A publicity stunt would not surprise me. Really couldnt warm to Joanna at all this season, and she needs to step away from the vodka cos she is an Ugly drunk!

Lea and Marysol- when did things get so bad between them again? they seemed to end the finale on a better note after the Bahamas trip, but now it seems just as bad.

Im still unsure what to make of Karent but I think she handled herself pretty well through the first part of the reunion. As did Lisa, I adore this girl, shes a star and totally my fave of all these ladies

Looks like its going to hit the fan again in part 2 when Alexia and Mama Elsa join the fun!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the HoWives addicts. Thanks to everyone for making this thread such a friendly and convivial one. Interesting that, in being so, it's the complete antithesis of the various sets of "ladies" airing for our delight.

My 2013 wish is for the shows to be aired reguarly on freeview and for everyone to have access to earplugs, especially for the Reunions ( and Grrrr to the station that didn't air them).

The rumours of Danielle returning to NJ kind of fizzled out over the last month but it's been apparently confirmed - SHE'S BACK for 4 episodes of Season 5. All the ladies have to film with her even if they don't want to.

Just wanted to ask if anyone knew about The Countess on NY? According to Wiki (not the most reliable of sources, I know) - she's not being offered a contract for season 6!! Ramona, Sonja and Aviva all have contracts but Carole and Heather aren't signed up yet either... Anyone heard anything?

No news on who's back but they aren't beginning to film until February apparently. Bravo execs weren't pleased with the dip in ratings last season.

According to Andy Cohen they were pleased with the ratings.

Personally I think they should bring them all back plus Jill Zarin if they want the ratings up.

I watched this weeks Atlanta episode last night. It was really weird, I still dont know what the point of it was.I didn't realise Apollo had been locked up for such a long time, and the visit to the strip club starring overweight, middle aged, tattooed, cellulite ridden strippers was just bizarre.
Apparently Atlanta is famed for it's strip joints. I would be livid if my husband admitted to weekly visits especially as there's no way in hell he would be ogling those particular strippers, he'd be watching young, lithe women.
And what on earth was Phaedra doing bringing her pastor to bless Kandi's new house? She didn't know him from Adam. I was totally grossed out by Phaedra and Apollo's tongue sandwich. UGH. Keep it private, Phaedra. That's what a real Southern Belle would do.

All in all a really strange episode. Bring back the normal craziness please.

Yeah, I heard that they pushed back filming from Jan to Feb to try out possible new ladies for a place on the show.

I wouldnt mind if all of the cast from last season came back, Im surprised Aviva would want to- she ended up slightly demented by the end of it, but I dont mind her coming back. I do hope Heather comes back aswell. I loved her and she worked well on the show I thought, Carole I liked but shes propably far too sane and composed for this show!

After that WWHL appearance I wouldnt mind for Jill to bring her brand of crazy and make a comeback. But I dont see it happening, maybe a "guest" appearance or something but she wont be full time again. That would be like Bravo saying they shouldnt have fired her, and that wont happen!

Season 5 was probably the only season of the show I've watched entirely. I'd seen an odd episode here and there and a few of the reunion shows of previous seasons so I don't have much to compare it to. I actually enjoyed it - but I found myself disconnecting from it as the ladies were seen attending parties and charity events for 80% of the time - and an argument always broke out during them. It kind of became predictable. It's almost as if the production team were randomly picking 2 of the ladies to argue at a party and focusing an episode around that. One week it's Ramona vs. Luann. Next week it'll be Heather vs. Sonja... etc. etc.

The only housewife I definitely don't want them to lose is Carole. She brought this really cool edge to the show and balanced out that group of crazy nutjobs well.

Watched season 1 ep 1 of BH today on itv2 and really enjoyed it!

First impressions:
Kim - PROBLEMS. You can tell a mile off something's not right there... (I had heard things on here, and seen a few clips on youtube - but after only 1 episode I could tell she needed help! Felt sorry for her.
Adrienne - the way she took down that man was hilarious! Seems a bit of a dark horse...
Kyle - Interesting. Seems to have her head screwed on - but can be quite bossy and condescending (especially to Kim)
Lisa - I really liked her! Seems like a cool glamorous granny; love the accent!
Camille - wanting to step out from her husband's shadow... FAIL. All she did was talk about him!
Taylor - there's something about her I just don't like. She looks like a swollen fish for a start and was just annoying.

Early days yet but those were just some of my observations

My opinions on the housewives from the first episode.

Kim - I feel very sorry for her. She's clearly lonely since she put her kids before friends & without a man she's got a lot of things to do herself which her ass of a sister (Kyle) can't seem to grasp. Taylor more or less cutting her from the group during the match was a shame also. I really do feel for her she clearly has major confidence issues.

Adrienne - I loved her. I love how she's so together & she's clearly very smart. She looks like she has the most lavish life of them all and I think she's one to watch drama-wise.

Kyle - Ugh. One episode and I hate her. She was very rude cheering the opposing team for a start and then she was just horrible to her sister. She made it out like she was Kims saviour when really Kim didn't seem as if she needed her at all. From what I've read on her here and the few later episodes I've seen Kim looked after Kyle & their Mother as a child & Kyle gives her nothing but crap in return.

Lisa - She's just wonderful. I was so shocked when she said about her dog and the cancer cure. That came out of nowhere and wasn't an intelligent comparison. She does seem the funniest of them all.

Camille - What a bore. Wants to get away from Kelsey's shadow..talks about Kelsey in every scene. Doesn't look like she's going to do anything interesting but I could be wrong. Also, where the hell was Kelsey going for a year?

Taylor - I hate her voice. It goes right through me. She sat with her back faced to Kim & then moaned Kim ignored her so I was confused by that. She comes across very self centred, especially when she was talking to her husband..who I believe is now deceased, which season does he die?

Beverly Hills is so addictive, one episode and I'm hooked. A lot better than DC, of which, any news if we'll ever get the reunion?

Not amused one bit at ITV2 airing OC season 6 instead of the new season.
