This thread is great. Despite us being on different series at different times, it seems to gel and flow cohesively and we're a nice lot, unlike some of the US Boards.

Atanta! What the hell was Kenya (not) wearing?? Made me hoot with laughter, though. Phaedra's getting more hoity toity every episode. She'll be talking in Received Pronunciation soon. What's happened to her burial business? That provided hours of mirth It's all donkey bottoms at the moment.

Still ploughing away with BH on ITV2 series 2, good one today 'let the games begin'. Started off really weird with Dana/Pam, her of the 25K sunglasses, hobbling about in her huge empty echoing mansion .. and along comes Kim, her of sounding like she smokes 100 cigs a day and is now either drunk or drugged up........ all being total bitches to Brandy .. and then Brandy calls Kyle a bitch (which she is) .. and then it all kicks off ....... can't wait till Monday .. see above .. need to see the fall out.

I probably won't post much because I'm in total confusion with everyone watching different series and episodes but your posts make me laugh when I can match your observations with what I'm seeing.

I watched NY and OC last year and a week of WDC (all we were given) this year until BH arrived. I thought I was addicted before but now I know I am.

I change my mind every couple of episodes on who I like. Currently I'm liking Adrienne (though not how she treats her husband but that's their business). I haven't liked Kyle and Kim from the start but their sister relationship is uncomfortably similar to mine with my late sister so I sort of understand Kyle. I liked Lisa but now I don't.

Someone upthread wondered about Ken's background so I looked him up and almost fell off my sofa when I saw he bought the London wine bar that I used to work in and met Lisa there. It could have been me mwahaha!.

I have many more observations but this post is too long and don't want to bore you.

Watched Dana and her 25,000 dollar sunglasses and Valentino playsuit today and utterly drab house.

Our posts crossed bingoes. Totally agree. Dana clomping about in those shoes (I thought she called them Ferragamos but what do I know?) She names everything she wears and looks a sight.

It isn't that she's chubby or plump or whatever it was Ken described her as, she has no style.

The desperation/neediness/arrogance in these women makes me cringe at times when I'm sprawling in my onesie and sheepskin bootie slippers

Crikey, it could have been you I asked about Ken, I said he looks dodgy (and Martin) like a couple of 60/70's gangsters. Some days I find Lisa lovely, I do love her love affair with Giggy, and she makes me laugh how she treats Ken but at times I find her far too much. Her house though is awesome.

I liked Kyle at first, but i really don't like the way she has been so judgmental about Brandi, before she even uttered a word. As for Kim, what on earth is going on with her, when they got together they were a pair of witches.

BH has been a slow burner for me, but now loving it.

How Camille has changed, she seems so sweet now, i feel quite sorry for her (well only for 5 minutes, cause she is absolutely loaded)

Dana the desperado, what sort of party planning was that? There was more atmosphere on mars.

The way Kyle was acting towards Brandi in season 2 (especially on Dana's Game Night) makes you wonder just how much of Camille's accusations about her in season 1 were true.

Brandi on Game Night is probably the moment fans of the show really got behind her. She's not extremely wealthy in comparison to the others and she was constantly made to feel like an outsider in that group of women for a long time. She's the underdog and I think people root for that.

It's no surprise that she's now BBF's with Lisa. The other girls gasp when she says outrageous things and take them far too seriously - but I think she clicks with Lisa because of her tongue-in-cheek sense of humour.

Thought it was funny when Dana mentioned to one of the ladies (Taylor? The one on crutches) that her clothes were Valentino (I'd say they were more Primark but to be honest, that's an insult to Primark) then said he'd brought them over. Cue stunned look for lady on crutches, Valentino brough them over??!! Oh no, a shopper brought them over. But she had intimated that the Great Man himself had popped over with the clothes!

I thought Kyle and Kim were outrageously rude to Brandi on the Game Night (what was that about anyway? I'd rather be at home in my jimjams).

I'm trying to be patient with Kim because I understand the flakiness but she makes it difficult.

I agree with all this. I did not like Camille in Season 1, but during Season 2, I did start to have doubts that she was quite the villain she had been made out to be, because of a) the way Kyle seemed to stir things up between Lisa and Taylor and b) the way she was downright horrible to Brandi. At the reunion show for Season 1 Camille did "own" a lot of her bad behaviour but still maintained Kyle had made comments. So hmm.

As for the bit in bold, I agree that the women do seem to not get Lisa, or not want to. They way at the Reunion Show they all took offence for Adrienne because Lisa described Adrienne's new shoe line (:yawn as a "Maloof hoof", did seem OTT. I won't say any more in case I spoil things for people watching for the first time on ITV2.

I had previously seen the series on Bio, so I am afraid that I cannot help with the queries raised by some posters about how to watch the show online at US pace. Sorry. Perhaps Bravo TV online?

Just to add... how spiteful and juvenile of Kim to hide Brandi's crutches. I haven't formed an opinion of Brandi yet but I guess some of us have experienced being invited into what turns out to be a clique and the horrible cold-shoulder treatment which in my case, in the moment, made me feel like billy-no-friends. I felt very sorry for her.

Completely agree! Used to like Kim but she's getting worse, I think it's Kyle's influence. I can't help but like Adrienne and Paul, despite knowing they're so not good together!
Brandi has impressed me in her opening eps, but that's probably because the others have been so vile to her! I think she can be TV gold...

You might be right about Kyle. Slowly going off this sister act.

Also intrigued about the fact that Kim took 20k from the Palm Springs House, she then gave it back to Kyle and then Kyle gets to own the whole house? Kim is obviously and understandably annoyed at this but as with everything Kim seems to be in full control of everything, money houses and Kim herself. So what is the full the story with Kim for Kyle to have such control over her? Weird.

Agree with most about Kyle she's turning into a real nasty piece of work, the way she and kim treated Brandi was disgusting, both should be ashamed! On another note Kyle really needs to do something with her limp hair, its awful, just hangs over her pinched, witchy face urgg.

Don't like Taylor, just a s... stirrer and very obviously trying to live the lifestyle but without the funds. I think this is the real reason shes so unhappy with hubby. Love Camille, and lisa is just a one off, she's great! Hope she soon kicks limp locks to the kerb.

Bh is my favourite of the housewives franchise. Series two is better than the first as theres finally someone to dislike! Dana and her name dropping! Shes worse than camille in series one, kelsey this kelsey that...

Cannot believe they cut out the most dramatic part on ITV2 where Brandi and Kim get up in each others faces so now it doesn't look like it was that big of a deal.

Loving season 2 of BH! Kyle is a catalyst I think. Dayna is annoying, and cringworthy. Can feel the tension building with Lisa and Adrienne. Kim has a problem deffinately!

I love BH. It's better than NY (please bring back Jill and get rid of Ramona and LuAnn, Bravo). I felt really sorry for Brandi at the Games Night. Kim was really rude. It's fair enough that you can't like everyone but saying it in front of her was very mean.
People weren't kidding when they said Camille was much nicer in S2. I really disliked her in S1 but I quite like her now.

Have to agree with Kim why would she have sold her part of the house for £20k and why would Kyle buy her sister out for only £20k? Hoping there is more to it than has been said.

Kyle imo has been coming across very mean girls. Both Kim and Kyle were very unpleasant to Brandi.

I love Lisa, Camille and Adrienne.
