Are they going to make us endure another week of this key twist?
The evictees so far have gone into sequester, suggesting one is returning. A twist has been announced tomorrow night, I'm guessing one of them is returning. The keys guarantee a spot in the top ten, if one returns it will be a top 11. One more week of keys?

Houseguests being in sequester doesn't guarentee anyone is returning. They had people tucked away for a few weeks before and never used them. If someone does come back, what's to say that happens next week. The golden keys might open something, or they might make them automatically have nots for the week.
Whatever the twist is, it will be like our series and never live up to speculation and feel such a let down on the night. lol |

Ooooh what if all key holders had to open a safe and one or two contained big prizes. Imagine if one prize was $10,000, but they had to give it away to another houseguest. Now that could put the cat amongst the pigeons, by causing jealousy with some and not knowing if you could trust the person you were giving it to.
There are endless possiblilities |

Theory
- The keys together open a special power. - The four key holders have to take part in a special competition to decide who gets ownership of the special power - The winner of the competition gets to keep the power, which is the right to choose which evicted houseguest returns. - They could put a time limit on when this power can be used (ie, Any live show before jury house). - The first time the power can be used is in the next weeks live show to ensure the golden key holders their guaranteed positions in the top 10. The benefit for the show is that every week viewers want to tune in to see if one of their favourite houseguests is returning. |

The Keys could allow the owners to move into the real Big Brother house of the season and everyone else gets kicked out. |

I would like tonight's HOH to be an endurance, and for all the evictees to come back: whilst everyone will be competing for HOH, the evictees will also be competing with each other, and the evictee who lasts the longest in the endurance competition gets to return to the game (and they can also still win HOH if they beat everyone else).
But if a houseguest returns, it will more likely come down to a public vote and we'll have to wait until next week's live show until they actually return. The twist could also be that they're mixing up the pairs, and starting the Golden Key twist again (making the previous ones invalid). I hope that doesn't happen though, I'm bored of the pairs twist. The Golden Keys must have some extra value, because the last Golden Key is pretty worthless otherwise. Maybe if you have a Golden Key and make it to the final, you double your prize fund or something. Or maybe the GK holders get to decide who returns to the game. If the twist is another Coup d'etat or something similar, specifically introduced to give the veterans a helping hand, I will scream.

I'm not as dead-against the Golden Key as some people are. I just think they did it in completely the wrong season, and with the Vets dominating HoH, a lot of it's impact has been wiped away.
If it had just been 14 strangers, with the first HoH being a stranger to all, it could have gotten insanely good, but with the Vets (correctly) uniting, it just became a matter of who sucked up the most. |

Is the "twist" not just that there are no more pairs anymore?

The only thing that's got me thinking it might be more is the fact that Julie says it'll make the houseguests re-think their strategies. Surely their strategies would have always incorporated them being aware since Day 1that everything changes at Top 10... |

I'm sure they've said that in the past though, think it's just to drum up anticipation. Did they not say that when they split the couples in BB9?

On the first day, all that was said was that golden key guaranteed you a spot in the Top 10. I guess anything is possible, but there's nothing really to suggest that there is anything more to tonight than the couples being split up.

Is that a twist though? I thought they had already been told that they were only playing in pairs until they got to the top 10 or was that something I imagined?

Finally got my account verified as I've been watching the US series and been bemused by it all!
Much better than the UK version thus far for me.My guess is that the twist is only the golden key holders are able to play the HOH competition.. if so I hope Dani wins and makes a bold move in the game! |

I don't think they'd do that. It just wouldn't be in the least bit fair on those without the keys.

I understand that, but neither was the golden key holders allowed to participate in the HOH competitions in previous weeks. So could be a situation of the tables being turned and perhaps could be why the host reminded them to be careful of who gets these keys?
![]() I don't know. It's not like BBUS is in the least bit fair most of the times, I wouldn't put it past them.

But then the only way to even it out would be to make everyone bar the key holders immune.

I'm still convinced the key holders are involved in something that only they can participate in though.. maybe they pick who comes back into the house! |
