Hooking up small DAB radio to my HIFI speakers

Hello,

I have a small DAB radio and the sound isn't fantastic. I read on a review of the radio that someone hooked up the DAB to their HIFI speakers via the earphone output of the DAB. Does anyone know what sort of a lead I would need to do this? Thanks

A headphone (earphone) output is not ideal but in the absence of line out sockets then it will do. The cable you will require will most likely be a 3.5mm jack to phono cable - http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tv...rice/to=n.html

If the sound isn't fantastic, then it may sound worse connected to the hifi.
Do you have freeview box, you could connect that to the hifi instead for the main radio channels.

At the radio it will be a mini-jack connection, the other end will depend entirely what connections are available on the hifi equipment you have.

It may be 2 phono or mini-jack.

Both types of lead are available cheaply on ebay.
