Good evening,

What would you cobble together for starters, main course and dessert? Would you offer up any 'additional extras'.

Before we get started, I just want to say that I would probably buy a lot of the stuff ready made and pass it off as my own.

I have often thought about this and am never sure at all what I'd make especially for the main course.

Starter either baked asparagus with a poached egg and parmesan cheese on the top or mussels in horseradish and leek saucey stuff with crusty bread

Main Course Roast beef and roast potatoes - or I might have those mussels instead.

Sweet dunno meringue and peach and raspberry ice cream or maybe a passion fruit cheese cake

then coffee and tablet and if they hung around for a while afterwards they'd get whisky or wine or whatever served with cheese and pickled onions and pineapple on sticks.

edited to add - but I'd never, ever go on the telly.

No idea what I'd cook but if I did go on it (which I wouldn't) then my rules would include:

Not eating raw meat (steak tartare seems to be a current trend)
Not going to anyone's house in fancy dress.
Not going to anyone's house that has a cat that has undoubtedly been sitting all over the kitchen work surfaces all day.
Not having to listen to someone's great aunt maude playing the accordion and being passed off as 'entertainment'.
Not going anywhere near a hot tub.

I conclude that I would be a rubbish contestant.

Some fool has already served up Cyanide to his guests on 'CDWM'. They all enjoyed it and survived the week. Apparently it can be consume if it is prepared properly.

My menu would sound boring but the taste would be different but tasty - bit like me - as everything would be homemade.

Starter: Tomato and Basil Soup with ciabata (sp?) bread
Main: Chicken Kiev, steam veg, rice.
Dessert: Victoria Sponge with custard/ice cream

Well I'd know if someone cooked that for me properly, I'd have a full content stomach at the end of the night!

would it be any different to appearing on c4's 'come dine with me' ?
LOL

If I was to appear on C4+1s CDWM, I'd probably cook the same thing I cooked an hour earlier on C4.
