I guess it depends on who you ask or who receives your request.
When I got my second package with my requested cards from the Corrie press office back in the beginning of June I realised that I got more newer cards than older ones. I wrote them an e-mail asking what their policy was on older cards. A young woman and not David Nugent wrote me back and explained it to me. Then the next day she told me that they had Kate Anthony cards and would she like me to have her send me some.
She sent me a couple of e-mails answering my questions and she seemed very nice. The following week I sent her a request list with an added paragraph at the end asking for any cast cards featuring people that had left the show pre tram crash. When I finally got the package a few weeks later, The postage on the package was double the amount of my previous package though due to the carelessness at Canadian Customs , they opened the package and many cast cards disappeared in transit and all I was left with when it reached my house was 6 of the newest cast cards (such as the Price Family) I was upset as I probably would have gotten some interesting cast cards, plus ones that were under the thread of finishing.
Then when I e-mailed the Press Office again to ssee if they could help, I got an e-mail back from David Nugent saying that the young woman I had been speaking to had been let go (perhaps for being too generous?) When I gave him the request list., he said "You'll get what we have available" and when I got that package recently, I didn't really get anybody really interesting only the missing cast cards I needed featuring people that are still on the show. No one who had recently left the show.
I guess it really depends on who answers your e-mail.
