I got Katie McGlynn's new Coronation Street card this morning from their press office. I'd also asked whether Terence Maynard, Marc Anwar or Les Dennis had cards yet, but they only sent Katie's.

In last week or so I have written off to all four of them so am hoping they do have cards lol... there are certainly photos up on the ITV site that look like cast card shots so If they are not available now they should soon be ready...

Yes, indeed - have just spotted new Corrie cards for Marc Anwar and Les Dennis on eBay. Plus an updated card for Helen Worth.

Is it the same as his past two cards? or is it new shot of him in front of the car lot?

Hey all,

Sorry to be a pain as you've probably gone through this a hundreds times but I was wondering if when you send off fan mail, do you have to include a Self Addressed envelope for them to use, and do you have any recommendations on who replies best?

Regards

Ben

Hey Ben.

I always include a self addressed stamped envelope.

BBC do pay for postage so occasionally I don't include stamps for EastEnders autographs.

Regarding who is the best at replying, depends which soap you are writing too.

Eastenders, June Brown, Michael French, Patsy Palmer, Adam Woodyatt, Lacey Turner to name a few. Sometimes they come undedicated but some people have no preference to which they prefer. I personally like mine to be dedicated to me, but a success is a success.

Coronation Street, Sue Cleaver, Sue Nichols, Jane Danson, Paula Lane....

Some reply quickly (within weeks) and some can take months, or even years. Just have to have patience!

Good luck!!

Ah thanks , his old card shot then... weird cos on the EE characters page there's an upto date shot which would look better on his cast card...

Thank you for the help, I have done this years ago a few times in which I got a signed cast card from Scott Maslen, but Lacey Turner never replied. I'm going to send some over the weekend, once again thanks for the assistance. Hoping Danny Dyer or Jake Wood reply!

Luisa Bradshaw-White sent me three undedicated castcards today. Took 6wks.

I've written to her a couple of times in the past (she's been a favourite of mine since This Life, back in the 90s), and she always gives a generous response.

Danny and Jake are both fairly reliable repliers, so they should turn up sooner or later. Good luck with your collecting.

Oh, and for anyone that was thinking of writing to her, Verity Rushworth now has an Emmerdale card. Just spotted it on eBay.

Cheers for that. Verity was always very good at replying in the past (even when she wasn't in Emmerdale) so hope nothing has changed. Pretty outrageous that I saw someone charging £6 (incl. p&p) for just her blank, unsigned card!

I still haven't had a reply from Danny Dyer and I have sent quite a few requests now...very strange!!.

Does Verity Rushworth reply via agency?.I am disappointed in the Emmmerdale cast cards, they was so much better when they was set in the village etc,

I went to the post office the other day to post a request off to Chelsea Halfpenny who was in Emmerdale as she is in theatre at the minute in Leeds and seems to be replying to fanmail and was shocked by how much it has gone up for a stamp, its outrageous how much they are going up too,They will soon neally be £1 :-O

^ I haven't heard back from Danny Dyer either.

Got Carey Mulligan yesterday via venue. Took approx 1-2 weeks.
