Some of my recent EastEnders replies:

Gillian Taylforth (Kathy) signed cast card. Took two weeks.
Bleu Landau (Dennis) signed and dedicated cast card. Took three months.
Danny-Boy Hatchard (Lee) signed and dedicate cast card. Took one week.

Today I received unsigned cast cards of Freddie Phillips (Will), Riley Carter Millington (Kyle) and Amaya Edward (Jade).

I haven't got Kyle yet

I've received a signed and dedicated card from Bleu Landau too.

Didn't realise Amaya Edward or Freddie Phillips had cards. Got a reply from the helpdesk for some older cards (Rakhee Thakrar and Maria Friedman) to try and send to their agency, and asked about Ted Reilly, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman and Scott Maslen and didn't receive anything for them.

Ted Reilly (Johnny, EastEnders) appears to now have a cast card.

A signed and dedicated cast card from Lisa Hammond (Donna Yates) arrived today. Quite a surprise as I sent the request in January 2015!

Finally! A new Coronation Street update.
Just saw on EBay that Sally Ann Matthews and Connor McIntyre now have cast cards. Not sure if any other new ones are available yet.

I checked the Official cast page and saw that right now Caz and Freddie have typical cast card photos for their profiles, Gemma and Alex have stock photos there, but no photos or profiles yet for Rana, Will or Lee. I don't know if any of these characters will get cast cards.

I'm new to this, how do I get started?

Here is a quick guide to requesting autographs from the EastEnders cast.

First of all write a letter to the cast member you want an autograph from. I tend to keep them quite short as they get a lot of mail. Then at the end of the letter ask for a autograph. Along with the letter you also need to include an envelope with your name and address on so they can send you a photo back. It doesn’t need a stamp as the BBC pay the return postage. Make sure it is big enough to fit a postcard in. I tend to use C5 size envelopes.

On the envelope of the letter just write the actors name c/o BBC Eastenders and seal it up.

Put all your letters into one big envelope and send it to:
Autographs,
EastEnders,
BBC Elstree Centre,
Clarendon Road,
Borehamwood,
Herts,
WD6 1JF.

Take it to the post office to get weighed so it has the correct postage. I send about 5 at a time, but you can send as many or as few as you like. I send a few at a time as it saves on postage.

Then just sit and wait for the post! Some actors are very quick to reply and some take longer.

Got a very lovely reply from Barbara Windsor today. She signed the photo I sent her, plus included a signed cast card and a signed photo of her own!

Also got a Ted Reilly cast card last week and the week before a signed photo from Bill Treacher!

Just a few short lines about why you like them and their character. eg for Lisa Hammond (Donna) you could say how much you enjoy the baby story line and that you really hope Donna gets her wish etc. Keep it simple
