I recieved abi branning last week
and her card wasnt glossy like a normal castcard not the normal standard as u say simular to how your describe the Polly pperkins card u got.

My polly perkins which is signed is of normal standard which you expect.

A bit of the Holy Grail landed on my doormat yesterday:

3 signed photos from Tameka Empson, and a long note on an EastEnders compliment slip.

Tameka Empson and Jamie Foreman for me this week, I had pretty much given up hope of adding Kim to my collection as it was nearly two years ago that I wrote!

I had a card from Tameka and a note from her too, bless her, on Thurs, I wrote to her in July 2010, so was a great surprise!

Eighteen months c/o EastEnders. Hooray!

Please can someone tell me if I imagined reading on here that Emmerdale's Aaoron and Hazel did get the new Emmerdale style cards?

The Helpdesk told me in January that all the new cards would be sent out at once for those on their waiting list, when all cards were done. They also said they expected it to be one more month. Wasted one of my SAE's (70p worth of stamps) to tell me this without even including any of the ones that were then out.

We are now at two months and I am little worried about getting Hazel's and Aaron's cards (if they do exist) given that Pauline Quirke and Danny Miller have left.

Can anyone please tell me where they think it is best for me to write to for Danny, Pauline and James Thornton (just in case he got one too). Should I write via their agent or via the studio address? And if via Emmerdale which address?

It's just very flimsy and the printing quality isn't up to the usual standard.

This morning I had an Emmerdale card back from Kevin Pallister, dedicated, took 10 days.

Pauline Quirke is gearing up for the Birds of a Feather stage tour. It might well be coming to a theatre near you, so you can get her in-person!

Thanks, I will at some point if people on the waiting list start getting their cards and I don't. Has anyone had a studio set lately? However at the moment I don't think there is a lot of point given how Emmerdale operate with their waiting list.

In January 2012 I sent two SAE with about 70p-80p worth of stamps on each envelope. One was for the then cards they already had out and the other was to go on the waiting list for any new ones. They wrote back wasting one of my envelopes saying I was on the waiting list but wouldn't receive any cards until all the new ones were released. They said they weren't sending anyone on the list cards until they could send them all together.

I know they said it was only going to be another month (and it is now two), but I don't think there is a lot of point me trying just yet as they will say the same.

I think I am just going to have to write to James Thornton, Pauline and Danny Miller. Just don't know where would be best to write to them?

I'm on the waiting list, and haven't had anything since towards the end of last year, when I got the cards for Rachel, Alex, and updated Jai, Alicia, Jacob and Gennie.

I've written to Danny Miller and Pauline Quirke (at their agents) within the last few months, but no replies so far. Someone on eBay had a set of unsigned new design cards last month, which included the characters of Hazel, Aaron, Victoria, Cain and a few others that I haven't seen anywhere else yet.

Not sure any of that is much use to you, but thought I'd tell you my recent experiences with Emmerdale anyway!

Yes I got those 6 around November 4th. The Rachel one was damaged

Is that the one which came with an Emmerdale bag and other Emmerdale stuff? If so I saw it on there too. Likewise not seen them elsewhere. I think I've seen a new press pic on a website for Nikhill in the same design so he probably has a card to.

Cards were printed in the below format from Circa January 2012 - .

They now have a metalic yellowish/gold & black ITV1 Logo on the left, and they have a white EMMERDALE on a black background in blocked capitals on the right. Note for the first time CHARACTER NAMES are in BLOCK CAPITALS and there is now a small white border running around the whole picture as well as the normal bottom border.

Got a Neighbours card back signed by Natalie Saleeba this morning, with a note that started on the back of the card and finished on the back of the envelope! It was dedicated, and took 3 weeks.

Got some signed cards back from Waterloo Road this morning. Took 10 days.

Guessing she's trying to garner some support for this Sports Relief thing she is in this weekend! Not received anything myself from her, and sad to see that a few signed cast cards have already made their way onto ebay.

I remember when I got a reply from Suzanne Shaw that there was a little printed note in with the signed picture asking to vote for her and the Emmerdale cast in some Awards thing.

Got a reply from the EastEnders helpdesk this morning. They sent cards for Hetti Bywater and Ricky Grover.
