Just one this morning, Steve John Shepherd signed EE cast card, took 17 days .

I received a signed Jamie Foreman yesterday (Derek Branning, Eastenders). Took between two and three months.

3 this morning - a Casualty card from Charlotte Salt (undedicated, took 5 months), an old Emmerdale card back from Glynis Barber (dedicated, took 2 weeks) and an old Eastenders card back from Paul Bradley (dedicated, took a month).

Just one this morning, Tameka Empson signed dedicated EE cast card, took 18 days .

Jamie Foreman yesterday, took six months

An old The Bill card back from Bruce Byron this morning, signed and dedicated, took 2 weeks.

1 this morning - a Neighbours fancard back from David Hoflin, dedicated with a letter, took 3 months.

What address did you use to write to him too?

I sent the letter to his agent in Melbourne, but the reply came from Santa Monica, California. I'd included a return envelope with Australian stamps on it, and he used that, but stuck US stamps over the top.

I know like me you have been on their waiting list for new cards for months. So in this new letter did you just ask for those 2 or ask for a whole lot of new cards? I last received new cards from them on the 4th November 2011. These were the hybrid 6 cards (a combination of the new and old design with the new logo but the old ITV1 logo and no border running around the whole picture). These were Jacob, Alex, Alicia, Jai, Genesis and a badly damaged Rachel.

I was patiently waiting and didn't want to bother them again just yet however given that 3 people in this thread now say they have been sent the new Aaron and and Hazel cards, I wrote to both Emmerdale addresses on Thursday. To the new address I sent a quick letter asking for the new cards of Aaron, Hazel and John Barton (just in case he too got one before he left). I also asked for any new cards since January 2012.

To 27 Burley Road (the old address) I asked for Hazel, Aaron, and John Barton. Saying I was concerned that now the actors had left the cards would run out. I also asked for and listed characters I knew had new cards (since Jan 2012) and asked to go on the waiting list for any further new cards enclosing yet another SAE. I also asked them if they would forward on two envelopes (with stamps on) to Danny Miller and James Thornton.

I really hope I hear back from one of the addresses with Aaron and Hazel at the very least. In January they wrote to me tellling me I was on the waiting list however they weren't sending any new cards out until everyone had new cards and they expected that to be in February. We are now at May! I have also lost count how many SAEs they have from me and other stamps I've included.

I'm thinking if I don't get Hazel or Aaron, at the beginning of June I might write to the producer (rather than Emmerdale Production Team) and that way it will be dealt with by his secretary. I am more than willing to pay for the cards but they aren't allowed to accept money for them.

Oh well, judging by the lack of cards on Ebay, I'd say I wasn't alone in not getting cards sent.

That's weird as a few weeks ago I emailed the Production office as I am yet to receive ANY of the new set of cast cards....I asked for any cards they had available but got a reply saying they are STILL waiting on some of the cards and would not be sending them out until there was a full set!!

So why have you been given cards ...also I have yet to see a Hazel or Aaron card on Ebay ...

Have to say do think they need to get a move on, and get this fan card problem sorted as we the fans do't deserve to be treated this way

Snap. That's what I was told in January. I was told it would be February. They even waisted one of my SAE (which had 80p worth of stamps on it) to tell me this too. At that point there were at least 11 cards out (I didn't have) that they could of sent me. I have started writing to the actors and bought some on ebay but I still need Victoria, Laurel, Megan, Nikhill, Cain and Paddy. Plus others I probably don't know about.

However 3 people now have said in this thread they have received Aaron and Hazel. Hence why I have asked Mr. Hamilton also what he wrote because like us he has been on the waiting list.

Given this new information I have now written two letters to them (one at each address) as I am concerned that they will run out of Hazel and Aaron given that they have left. I've also asked about John Barton. Perhaps they are sending these two out because they have left?

Well I'm giving it until June, if I don't hear back this time, I am writing to the producer. Obviously he won't reply but his secretary might and I will explain that I have sent numerous stamps and SAEs in and not received anything.

I am concerned about the Aaron and Hazel cards as they have now left so only a limited number would of been printed. All the cards were supposed to be ready in February. They can't honestly expect us to write to all the cast because the likes of Charley Webb, Emma Atkins, Shirley Stelfox and Sammy Winward never ever reply to fan mail. I personally haven't tried writing to them, but I know a few years ago Shirley went on record as saying she was frightened of fanmail after getting nasty threatening letters. Charley has a bad reputation for replying and you never see anything for Charley, Sammy or Emma for sale unless it was done in person.

Emma has replied to me once, Sammy has signed for me at the studios, she is very nice tbh....also had signiture from Shirley, another one who is lovely to fans at the studio....

Yes, I've heard that they are lovely when you meet them in person but they just don't do fan mail. Likewise, Charley always used to sign in person when she was younger (she may stil do for all I know).

Interesting that Emma does reply occasionally. I wonder if it is worth giving her a go?

In fairness to Sammy and Charley they probably get overwhelmed with fanmail. And Shirley had very legitimate issues for not wanting to open fanmail. But the point is you can't rely on actors to reply to you. Sometimes by the time they do other new cards have come out.

EDIT: Just noticed you asked about Victoria etc. I haven't seen them myself but they were apparently in a set of cards (which I did see) advertised on ebay. They came with all sorts of Emmerdale merchendise. From the picture on ebay you could only see the likes of Cain and Carl and a couple of others. But whoever bought them listed the cards in this thread somewhere and I noted them down in the file I keep on these things. But no not seen them personally.

JAMIE22UK sent me an email last week to say that he'd phoned and they'd sent him the Aaron and Hazel cards.

Like you, I was worried that they might only have a limited number of those cards, as the actors have left, so I decided to try my luck and sent a quick letter to the production office. I just said that I was happy to wait for any other cards, but wondered if they could send Aaron and Hazel, as I didn't want to miss out on those 2. I have to say, I didn't expect to get anything, but my SAE came back in less than a week, just with the 2 cards, no letter or anything.

I can email you a picture of the two cards tomorrow, if you'd like to see them.

I've written to Danny Miller myself so hope he sends his new card,...will have to try writing to Pauline Quirke at some point....I have only got three of the new style cards -those been of Rachel, Ruby & Sandy
