One this morning, Anne Nolan signed fan card via her manager, took 6 days .

Sorry to be a pain, but if you can remember how long averagely did it take?

Hmm...I've had a week of no replies. I am new to this so may just be worrying over nothing. From my first lot (sent four weeks ago) I still have 8 from corrie and 3 from eastenders unanswered. From my second lot (sent almost two weeks ago) I have had no replies (sent 10 to each soap in one big envelope). Do you think my second lot didn't arrive to either studio? When I sent my first lot I had my first reply in about 4 days (Patti Clare). I did think maybe they're all just busy with BSA stuff....I dunno....I hate that disappointment when the postman just gives me bills haha.

in my opinion i think the corrie cast are being careful in their correspondence with the fans because of all the carry on to do with people like William Roache. i cant believe this wont have affected them when they are deciding whether or not to reply to letters. its a shame actually because i sent some off to people i would really like autographs off, such as Paul the fireman who is leaving, and stephanie cole who also used to be a good replyer. my corrie replys were excellent at the end of march, but my last reply from them was 6 weeks ago so who knows.

i dont know if you are sending off to emmerdale but they are really good for me, this year ive had replies off people like freddie jones, chris chittell, rik makarem, trudie goodwin - although it is frustrating when u send letters off and you are waiting for replies as you envy the people who got replies off them when you yourself dont get a reply!

Thank you - yes, perhaps you're right about them being careful. I had two lovely replied from Patti Clare and Phillip Lowrie but nothing from the other 18 from Corrie. Still, I know they're very busy and replying to letters isn't their main job so....just have to keep waiting! I hate that disappointment in the morning though haha!

2 replies for me this morning - an old Eastenders card from Clare Wilkie (undedicated, took 5 weeks) and a Neighbours card from Josef Brown (undedicated, took 3 weeks).

3 replies today - a new Emmerdale card from Samantha Giles (dedicated, took 5 months), an old Holby City card from Kim Vithana (dedicated, took 8 months) and an old Hollyoaks card from Emma Rigby (dedicated, took just over a year).

Last week I had a dedicated 10x8 from Iain Glen (Game of Thrones &Downton Abbey)

Yesterday I had a lovely reply from Blake Harrison aka Neil in The Inbetweeners. He signed my postacrd & my 10x8 and also wrote a lovely note on the reverse of the 10x8.

Gillian Wright today! Hooray! Lovely message from her. And it's proof that my second Easties lot arrived Very pleased.

Two from Liz Dawn arrived today plus a card apologizing for the delay! What a lovely lady!

Also does anyone know if you post several requests in a jiffy bag to a agent and the people you are writing to all have the same agent then will the agent send the mail on to the celeb or have you got to post to the celeb and then the agency address,just wondered cause its so much cheaper doing this with soaps

Had an EastEnders card from Rory Stroud this morning - dedicated, took 3 weeks.

Charlie Condou & Julie Hesmondhalgh (thursday and today!). Both dedicated. Charlie took just over three weeks and Julie took just about five weeks. Very happy

Jo Joyner here today too. I received her Eastenders card about a year ago, and I don't remember writing to her again, but I guess I did.

This one has the character surname as Cross, and the last one had it as Jessop, so I'll keep them both anyway.

Rory Stroud today (and my first reply in what seems like weeks). Not holding out much hope, but hopefully I'll get a reply from Jo Joyner soon.

For the Emmerdale collectors, you never hear of replys off people like James Hooton, Jane cox (sam +lisa Dingle), tony audenshaw (bob), and some others. does this mean they don't reply? or with all due respect to the actors, does it mean people just don't write to them?
