Sent off a letter today to the EE helpdesk asking for the new cast cards ....also got a personalised Photo back from Danny Walters who plays Tiger in Benidorm ..sent off for that on the 7th Feb so pretty quick.

I asked for some old cards before and never recieved them, what kind of people did you ask for, really old characters or ones that have left in the last couple of years.

They used too but written a few times in last few months and not had a reply
I wrote to Hollyoaks about three weeks ago, asking for cast cards of some of the newer characters. Got one card this morning (Charlie Clapham) along with a letter saying that they can only send out one card per person.

You were lucky just getting one, last time I wrote they didn't send me any cards back!
Got 9 of the newer cards from the EastEnders helpdesk this morning. Also got a signed and dedicated EE card from Luisa Bradshaw-White, which took 8 weeks.

That's really sweet. I guess that they have a more rlaxed press office
A couple of years ago, I e-mailed the Corrie help desk. Usually I get the same head guy there and they usually only send you cards of the current cast and recent leavers, but then by chance, one time I got a reply by this young woman working there who was going to send me more older cards which I agreed to. When I received the package here in Canada, it was double the postage but there was a big rip at the top and only 6 cards were there and they were the 6 newest ones. I was a tad upset. I guess that there was something with customs? Maybe should have asked for 2 envelopes.
BTW, did someone say that there is no Corrie press office activity lately? Would it be wise to send them an e-mail soon or is it a lost cause?

BIB Ben did you send off for those? or were they just sent to you? I ask cos have received sets before but not got those new cards as yet...maybe they will arrive this week ..
OH MY DAYZ!! just got my post, and in it was a package in an envelope....opened it too find 30 odd Eastenders cast cards, some already got, some I wanted.... when I wrote off I asked for some characters more than others, they haven't sent me the Newer carters cards, or the spraggan kids 
but wow!
