Any idea why all of my dvd menus are now in French
Hey, earlier I put an episode of The Wire on to watch and noticed all of the menus are now in French, I've been into the dvd player settings, and everything is set to English, I'm stumped
![]() anyone have any idea? I can't see an option on the actual disk other than changing the subtitle language |

First thing to do is try another DVD and see whether that appears in French or English. That will tell you whether the problem is with your DVD player or with the disc itself.

I've just tried a couple of other disks from the same boxset and they are in English, then put the disk that was in French back in..and it's back ti English so it seems to be sorted... that was strange

Sacre bleu, zees Eenglish peeple! It might be that on your DVD initial (1st time) setup screen, you chose French instead of English as the default language. When you put a DVD in the player and the copyright warnings start rolling, is the first warning in French or English?
