I agree, I only watched it just now. The order of all the scenes makes a lot more sense, it's edited a lot better than the original one.

I think that you will have to wait until Wednesday, if Radio 1 don't playlist Collide this week then it looks like something might be up, that is unlikely as it's been played on Radio 2 by Ken Bruce.

Capital might just be waiting, remember we're still in July and the track isn't out until September, but this week should be a good sign.

There are two or three versions of Happy as well, I wish they'd let the directors cut for IGY be put out to the music stations as with the news single we're bound to get slots where they play 3 or 4 of her songs back to back and I really don't want to keep hearing BL or Run.

Yes I know, I really love the version of Happy where after its revealed the guy is actually marrying the other girl, it shows the clip in the bar of the the guy ignoring Leona and flirting with the other girl instead.

I think you are wasting your time.

Capital radio is a completely different entity to what it was a couple of years ago.

They are no longer a London only station, since buying up Galaxy radio they have gone nationwide and so no longer support the local London artists.

I've been listening to it today whilst working in the garden and their playlist is just one long pile of poo. Its 95% autotuned "Ayo" rubbish.

I don't think they will be playing any house music anytime soon.

Maybe that's the version they play on the channels (I haven't seen Happy on tv in ages) but it's not the official one if her youtube page is anything to go by.

And I much prefer this version of Happy too. It makes the story a lot clearer.

It's proper stupid if they don't even have the same video sent out as the one on youtube lol. That's like uploading a demo to iTunes and saying OFFICIAL version and then sending out the polished one on CD lol... weird..
I don't think I've ever watched the youtube one actually, apart from when the TV version was up... that was a ridiculous shuffle around with all the edits.

EDIT: I can't view any of her official Happy Videos... weird...

Sample the Nay Ray mix here.

I like the Gaudino/Rooney mix better. I like that it doesn't keep the piano loop perpetually going so you can hear what the song would sound like without it.
The Nay Ray mix has a nice piano counterpoint on top of the original piano loop... it's worth paying attention to.

BIT has two versions too haha.

Loving the Guadino remix, sounds like they have given the song more of a structure.

The VEVO channel added "US Version" to the end of the Happy video. I really wish they kept this version as the only version. :-/

Side note: Do you guys remember when it premiered on Box even that version was slightly different as well?

EDIT: I just realized now how creepy the plastic couple on top of the cake looks.

is the only version I've ever seen on the music channel and the one they played on itv or whatever the first time it aired on tv. For some reason there's only the US version of Happy on her vevo which I can't watch

Single Radio Version
Alex Guadino + Jason Rooney Club Edit

They all sound soooooooo damn good!
