Peach Frozen Yoghurt

I made this frozen yoghurt today and it is very tasty.

1 can of peaches in syrup or fruit juice or 4 fresh peaches.
500g Greek yoghurt
2 tbsp squirty honey (optional as it tends to take over. Very tasty if you love honey but if you are like "Tigger" you might pull a face.)

tip the peaches, their syrup and the yoghurt into a liquidiser or blender. Add the honey. Give it a blast. Refrigerate until it is cold.

Pour into ice cream maker and paddle.

Pour into a suitable container and bung into the freezer.

Delicious. Swap for apricots for a stronger taste.

Yummy

We're going to make it

If you're wondering why there is a lowercase d before the then it's because he's wearing a hat.

I would love to make this but I don't have an ice-cream maker. Do you know how I can make it without? Unless I follow a recipe I am a useless/nervous cook and don't want to mess it up as it sounds gorgeous!

I bought a Kenwood for £22 pounds.

I don't think you could possibly mess it up as it is simply liquidising and freezing.

You can make it without an ice cream maker.

You could freeze it a 800g or 1kg metal loaf tin for four hours. Make sure to line it with clingfilm so you can get it out easily when you want to serve it and then cut it into slices.

Let it sit about for half an hour before serving.

I make a strawberry frozen yoghurt in my Vitamix with frozen strawberries, Greek yoghurt and agave nectar. Wizz for about 1 minute and it's done.

I will freeze some peaches and try this in it later. Thanks, stud

If you have a blender or a food mixer then you could do what I do......(even though I have an ice-cream maker but forget to freeze the bowl)

With this recipe I would drain the peaches and a little juice and then freeze them. Then put them and the youghurt into a blender/food mixer and whizz together until smooth or chunky whatever you like......it should remain thick and therefore instant frozen yoghurt or if too soft freeze down until colder.
