O.k. just for fun. If you could organize your very own music fest, who would you like to play? Here's mine...

Friday > Feeder ~ Manic Street Preachers ~ Jamiraquai

Saturday > Black Crows ~ R.E.M. ~ Foo Fighters

Sunday > Keane ~ Green Day ~ Paul McCartney

(I chose these `cause they are all fantastic live)

Good idea. We should add the location of our festival as well as the line-up.

Mine would be at Camber Sands in Kent where they used to have the All Tomorrow's Parties weekender. No messing about with tents when you've got holiday chalets!

Commercial? This isn't V we're talking about.

Glasto is the best festival site, with you just have to have enough stuff to fill it though. I'd go with the Bestival site if you've only got a small amount of stuff.

I can see the advantages of indoor ATP style stuff but I can't do festivals without being outside and camping.

Ideally a cross between Glasto and Benicassim sites, but that wouldn't really work haha.

I would have Iron Maiden doing a weekend of headline shows at the same site doing different set list each night..

Bit like what Metallica are doing in USA to celebrate 30 years!!

Hopefully at the Reading Festival site... its next door to my house.

Friday - Rock
Steel Panther, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses (original 5), The Doors

Saturday - Get Mullered
Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Faithless, Leftfield

Sunday - Recovery
Bjork, Gotan Project, Alabama 3, Massive Attack

Mine would be held somewhere in the Peaks so its close by (not Donington like) so there isn't far to go. It would cost £20 for a weekend and nothing extra for camper vans.

It would have:
- Portacabin bogs for all
- Portacabin showers with hot water for all
- Capacity of about 30,000
- Real ale tents (no more than £1.50 a pint)
- Instant death for tent thieves.
- Free string to hand out to people with dogs

I was lucky enough to see g n' r in `91 `92 and `93. at wembley twice then milton keynes. but matt sorum on drums and gilby clarke on rythym guitar, although izzy played in `93 as gilby had a broken arm. would have loved to have seen them at donington in `88 with steve adler though
