no chris actually danced for his 40

I would vote for Lisa and Brendan's Cha Cha - she modelled and posed her way through it

32/40 at best for me

Mark and Karen's AT deserved a 40

Scott and Natalies Jive got 39. Should have been 40 imo

Unless I've got this wrong, both of Kara & Artem's Rumbas scored 39 - with Craig giving them 9/10 on each occasion.

Both deserved a perfect 40 - though I preferred the first one!

Kara & Artem's Argentine Tango - one of my personal SCD dances of all time!

I didn't think Pamela's quickstep deserved a perfect score.

And I thought Ricky's semi-final waltz did deserve a perfect score, along with Scott's jive.

Hmmm. Difficult one this.

I'd probably go with Pamela and Jame's Quickstep (I think it was), but towards the end of the series, the judges go mad anyway. Also, Chris and Ola's Charleston and probably (just to be controversial ) Matt and Flavia's Waltz (more sentiment than anything else in my opinion).

Dances that should have got 40. Mark and Karen's Argentine Tango definately and probably Gethin and Camilla's Waltz and Colin and Erin's Quickstep as well.

I'd have to duck and hide if I mentioned which dance I believe didn't deserve a perfect 40 . Suffice to say it was from a person who I consider to be a seriously overrated contestant, though many would disagree with me.

Kara's rumba should have got 40, it was excellent. Craig is ridiculously picky about things that just aren't there.
Also maybe not 40 but Laila and Anton's viennese waltz should have scored more than the 34 it did get. It was classic proper VW for the entire dance and she did an excellent job of it.Oh and Austin's American Smooth was undermarked which made sure he was wrongly eliminated. I'm still bitter.

I think Lisa Snowdon scored three 40s overall - none of which were perfect in my opinion.
Austin and Erin's Paso possibly deserved top marks for entertainment value.

Lisa & Brendan's Cha-Cha-Cha was in no way deserving of a 40. She looked clumsy and awkward.

Cherie & James' Rumba was perfection and deserved a 40 (in my opinion)

Matt and Flavia's Waltz didn't deserve the 40 IMO, but Alesha and Matthew's waltz sooo did.
It still annoys me that my 2 favourite champions of all time (Alesha & Kara) never got a perfect score.

Tom too, never got the perfect forty - but his quarter final foxtrot should have been given the perfect score

Awww, go on BB, you gotta say it now!

Pamela no way deserved her Quickstep 40, neither did Lisa for her cha cha cha.

Colin Jackson never got a 40, I am sure his QS deserved one. Zoe's tango as well.

Matt & Flavia's Waltz.

I loved Cherie's Rumba - she was unfortunate to leave when she had a poor week in an otherwise stellar run.

That perfect 40 for Matt and Flavia's Waltz was incredibly suspect. It was a bog-standard routine that had no magic whatsoever but scored above sublime dances like Kara's Tango and Ramps and Karen's AT. Bizarre.

Looked like 2 sympathy marks from each judge after his meltdown the previous week - and of course they conveniently got rid of Gethin

I think Cherie struggled her way through a Salsa a couple of weeks prior as well. It was becoming clear that the fast Latin dances were her Achilles heal.

The dance I thought should have got a 40 (the second time round) was Rachel & Vincent's Rhumba. Craig said it was better than the first attempt when he awarded a 9, so why not a perfect score?

That's why it's so suspicious.

Not only do I think Matt and Flavias Waltz was worth every single one of its 40 points ....but their Salsa should ALSO have been a 40!

Ever so slightly biased?

It still irks me a bit now and I wasn't even a fan of Gethin at the time! But I saw the way he and Camilla were being stitched up by the stupid dance off system that year (which the producers conveniently dropped when Chris looked likely to suffer the same semi final fate two series later). What made me ultra suspicious was Len in the final saying "we've got the two right finalists" (or words to that effect). As a result of that, I still think Gethin out polled Alseha and Matt DA and should've been in the final, but, of course we've no way of knowing for sure.

Anyway, after years of therapy, I've finally come to terms with it

Now their Salsa was good.

Matt DAs 40 was a bit sad really as it was quite a nice routine, but the judges annoyed everyone by overmarking it. So he didn't the deserve the 40, but he also didn't deserve all the aggro he got afterwards.

I've got loads of routines I would have liked to see get 40, but the one I think has the best case objectively is Scott's Jive.

Pamela's quickstep stands out for me as the 40 I least enjoyed, although Chris' Charleston(technically a 50 but worrever) and Lisa's Cha-Cha both run it close. Sometimes I wonder if Craig has his 9 and 10 paddle the wrong way round.

Denise's Quicksteps should have got 40. If Jill can be forgiven a dress-tangle so can she.

No, not at all. My two favourite SCD routines, so in my eyes deserving of 40's
