Thanks for the wasp sympathy. I think I've gotten the sting out now, and I've vinegared up and taken some painkillers (I don't have anti-histomines or whatever their called!) . It still hurts, but I'm dealing with it. I'm more concerned about where the bastard went. I haven't seen or heard from it since then. Hopefully it died a painful death.

Missed most of the episode now too.

Any sting cream is an anti-histamine or Piriton. I would carry on looking for the wasp, you may have stunned it shaking it off and it will revive.

Quirkydude should have the show up on YouTube before long.

Hmm, I hope I have ice there. I know this probably sounds stupid, but would something that's been in the freezer for a while have the same effect? Like a bag of frozen peas or something?

I've never been stung before! This is a new and horrible experience!

Buy a little can of Wasp-Eze spray tomorrow - then, like a Jedi Knight, you will be armed the next time!

Yes, anything would do, you want the cooling effect. Have you something that is very cold in the fridge?

I got stung by two wasps on London Bridge then they got trapped in my loose sleeves. I have not visited the Tower since.
