One week to go! Seems such a long time to wait - I want to know how the judges have rated my song choice.

You won't know until you perform! It doesn't matter that much though, as the judges tend to put everyone pretty close together nights 1 and 2, with lots of tied placings. It's not until night 3 or 4 that people start to get more spread out, so don't worry about it until then

Besides, as essexboyash told us towards the end of last series, you are allowed to change your mind as long as he gets the new choice before you perform (I changed my mind on one of the choices for the final)

Thank you for accepting me as a contestant. With music/timing not being my strong point I am off to try remembering which songs go with which dances at dance class & browse old strictly episodes! Looking forward to joining in the fun. Hope I don't disappoint.

Only just over 6 days left to go until the series kicks off

The judges dont purposely put people close together on the first few nights, so dont assume you are safe, people have seen themselves way below everyone else before, its just that we had quite a lot of good talent the last series Each song is judged on an individual basis. The song and dance is judged purely on its own, forgetting who has submitted that song and what score any other song has been given etc. When its then added up at the end some people do have the same scores. You can use songs from Strictly etc, but you MAY get marked down if people think you are playing it safe. For example, the amount of people who have danced the Salsa to 'Conga' is becoming hard to keep track of now lol
