Is anyone else really confused about tonight's results and the strange way they are being done??

It's obvious I'm gone but still it's being drawn out/not concluded after the third result?

As some of you may or may not be aware in the final you dance THREE dances

A favourite routine from the series,...............a freestyle......................... and THE CHALLENGER.......................

However ONE of the remaining 4 will not survive to do the challenger.

ALL votes from tonight are to becarried over to tomorrow night

Is the finale show still broadcast at lunchtime?
essexboyash
25-08-2011
Dont worry I'll explain the challenger

Yep the show starts at lunchtime, Ill be posting more details of the format for tomorrow shortly.

I said days ago Id planned this when there was still about 8 or 9 people left so people know its not fixed. The final 4 were always going to make the final. But I couldnt tell you that or the element of suprise wouldnt be all that special lol

You and your dastardly twists Ash!

I'm so happy to make the final! Now to get rooting through my performances & to think of a good freestyle

Ok so what you all need to do now is

A: pick your favourite routine from the series that you have done. PM me that routine and the song you danced it to and you will dance that routine again tomorrow in the final

B: You will all dance a Freestyle. This can be to any song you like. Absolutely anything. Just a good song that you thinnk will go down well and PM me that song for your freestyle routine

THE CHALLENGER...................... only 3 of you will get to do this (ill explain how the format for tomorrow will run shortly) You dont have to do anything for this as the management will arrange your challenger routine for u

Basically the challenger see's you take on a routine that one of your fellow finalists danced to earlier in the series to see if you can beat their score. For example CloneClown may dance to CraftyGirls Argentine Tango

So tomorrow the final will kick of at the same usual time of 12:00pm You will all then dance your favourite routine and your Freestyle dance. The lines will then open until 18:00 hours. All votes from tonight will be carried forward. Anybody who has voted tonight will be allowed to vote AGAIN when the lines open as you will have all danced 2 more routines by this point so they then get to judge you on the final performance as they have already judged you on tonights performance. At that point (6pm) ONE of you will finish in 4th place........................The remaining 3 will then dance the challenger and the lines will re-open (the votes will not be reset) until 20:00 hours when the lines will then close for the final time and seal 1st 2nd and 3rd place

Tks for saying i was a pleasure as it felt like a pleasure taking part.
I did sense it was my time, as i did forget to send my song choices through, not sure anyone knew that, but it just made me think it was my turn. It was great to get so far though, i really enjoyed it.
Anton has been great, he's a real laugh and a gentleman and i will miss dancing with him

What a lovely fun fact for me Amy

Great post by the way, Helped me with my decision for my favourite routine
essexboyash

Thats brilliant Amy

You had one less night because there were only 14 contestants in your series, and there were 16 in this

Cheers Josh, I hope you go for one of your lesser scoring dances. Not sure if anyone knew this but I initially went for my Argentine Tango as it was my best score, but later on I decided to change to my Jive (which had scored 34 when I did it on night 3) and went up 5/6 points.

Cheers as well Ash, forgot there were more contestants this series

Still don't know how to bloody multi-quote on this thing....
